Who's mad, Tylar? Did you not notice I was laughing through that entire thing? Wink It's more the principle of it than anything else. If they would've kept me and played me on the 4th line, as most of them keep saying, then 1) they lied to me when I re-signed, saying that I'd be getting atleast 3rd line minutes. 2) They have no clue as to the quality they actually had or even have. So, effectively, 3) You're probably right. I am better off playing for an organization that actually appreciates loyal, active talent than one that will trade off that kind of talent for 3 useless conditional picks that they didn't even get. Their loss is the Panthers gain.

As I said, atleast they were smart enough to trade me to a team I like.
Oh I guess you're the first player to ever get screwed over by an organization. Rolleyes

Reminds me of a time when a new GM comes in, has a current starting goaltender, recruits his friend to come into the league, signs him and plays his friend over the starter, then reassures the "starter" that he's still the starter then when playoffs comes around.. the starter rides the bench and said team loses in the playoffs.

Honestly Kruze, I wish you the best of luck in LA. If you wish to remain mad at me then so be it, but I truly did not have room for you unless you wanted 4th line minutes. I assure you, you would have been miserable doing so.

The Comets will miss your loyalty, and the dedication you had for team, but sometimes moves had to be bade IN THE BEST INTEREST for the team.

Best Wishes Cheers

 I ain't mad at you, dude... This is a game right?!

But, that being said, I'm pretty sure you'll soon find out that keeping me and using me in more than just a checking role, would've been more "In The Best Interest of Your Team", provided LA utlilizes my player's entire skill set, which it sounds like their more or less going to.

You made a huge mistake, Seth. And it may not be right now, but you will regret making this deal. I do, however, thank you for your "Best Wishes" even though I'll be spending next season lighting up your goaltender like a Christmas tree... Count on it. Wink

Curious, why even sign him then just to trade him shortly thereafter?

It would have been "classier" to let him test FA and pick the team he most wants to go to, although it seems he's happy to be in Panthers, the point still stands.

Oppurtunities that weren't available to us before we signed him became available and it pushed him down the line-up. We didn't see it fair to have him in a 4th line role which he obviously believes he deserves more than. So we made the trade in hopes of getting our guy in the draft and it didn't exactly work out but we're ecstatic with Nurmi and the rest of the return.
