For all those folks who say Alex Koivu this is a warning to correct your mock drafts as there is only Alek Koivu.


This that out of the way I will be taking questions from the media, managers and scouts in regards to the upcoming draft. I'll be in Niagara Falls for my grandmother's 90th Birthday and wanted to give an opportunity for everyone to get their last minute questions in.

I'll start with why I don't want to be drafted (I know this request will not go honored).

The answer is simple. With Alek Koivu, I want to create that depth defensive player that may not be so valuable compared to everyone else in this draft class. As like many others my interest in the league is kind of shifting around the "I'm here but not so interested stage" and I don't want GMs to waste a high valuable pick.

If anything the potential to be a Free Agent Draftee could be the most interesting part as it creates something that doesn't happen so often here with an active.
