I think its about time I do this. I hope you guys take into consideration, I've wanted to do this for about a year now ever since the second season I was a part of the SHL. Maxy, you're a cool guy and everything, but honestly, I'm sick of the bulls*** that occurs every time a GM position opens up, and this is also for the people before Maxy that were running the NWJHL. I understand its your job to pick people and its "hard" for you to pick people, though we both know its not, its a joke for you to even say that.

Every opening down there is a big popularity contest to you, every single damn job opening. I've applied for every single GM opening, which has been quite a bit, from the first time in my first season here, to the time that we expanded and many more leading up to this. We've encountered so many GM changes its not even funny, but not once have I been picked, and its obvious as to why:

1) I don't have a motherf***ing colorful name. Oh god, I am so sorry my name is not purple because I am not a co-gm and I am so sorry my name isn't pink or any other color that shows I have some kind of authority on the site, I forgot to become a GM or any other position in the Juniors you must already have some kind of big management job.

2) My post count is lower then others. Even on the other site where people have some 5000 posts to my 500, it shouldn't matter. Sorry I have a life and can't post 20 things in five seconds like everyone else can, and sorry I don't find it entertaining to waste my time making articles every five seconds about the stupidest stuff, but I do find myself a true active member, to the point that I am on the site multiple times a day, and if something does come up that I need to talk about, I'll most certainly give my opinion on it.

People need to open their eyes and realize, what good is this doing the league ? I talked to Maxy personally, he said he didn't care, he actually was being one of the biggest sarcastic f***s I've ever met in my life. New members are never going to be encouraged to do much around here, if you give all the jobs to members because they are well known here, more so then the new guys that join up or the guys with a lesser post count. You guys can take action on this, my intent was to simply bring something to light, not get myself banned. I'm stating facts that the admins and commissioners really need to look at carefully. I'm sick of everything here being one big popularity contest, it should be about dedication, not who has the bigger post count or who has ten jobs already. Shutout had a job as the assistant GM of the Nightmare, means someone that had no jobs or one minor job should of gotten the job. Bye.

I agree it does Munk, but I was barely recognized, and i managed to become the GM of three different teams (in different seasons of course) and its just ridiculous how much worse it is here. They don't pick out of the best interest for a team, they pick the person they know the best out of everyone else.

dude when I got the job as the Knights, I haven't even on this site as long as others. I was junior. Actually I think it was the off season. I sent in an app. I just said I'm gonna send it and I will likely not get it cuz of "popularity" contest but I did.

Then I got it.

So just keep applying lol. There are many people that are deserve the job more than you.

actually, he was co-gm of the Nightmare, sure, not full GM, but he was the Co-GM. Also, I've seen him go inactive multiple times, where as I have never once gone inactive on any sim league I've ever been in.

He had to step down from his Co-GM job of the Nightmare which completely opens up another job. I'm sorry if you feel you've been wronged but Hoggie and I went through several applications and when we have Season One guys such as Spangs, Stevens, Shutout, Munky apply, it's really kinda hard to look past them when none of them have had head GM jobs in the past 2 seasons

ya i agree, u deserved it, you've been here for a long time and shutout has already GMed before, not taking anything away from him cuz hes a good GM but people who've never GMed before deserve a chance for the sake of interest

Im compressed on what to say to this. On one hand I understand his point but on the other I got a Co-GM job in juniors in half a season, then a full time junior GM job in one season and now a full time SHL GM job in just two seasons. I feel I climbed the mountain as fast as anyone could.
