Starting out the top-10 is Kian Hamilton, tying two other players for 8th among SHL players. Hamilton has been on fire the last three seasons: three 58 point years, 6 seasons in a row with 20 goals or more, four seasons with 150 hits or more, and a ridiculous faceoff percentage through his career. Hamilton's name change really did wonders for him as a player, and while regression presses on it doesn't effect his ability to make waves for the Manhattan Rage.

Also at 8 is Minnesota Chiefs goaltender Robert Andersson, who has had the worst amount of defensive support in the last few years. He has already smashed the team records for most shots in a season (has the 1-5 spots in the last five seasons), and despite his efforts has not won a single McBride trophy. Even this season with his .916 save percentage he just missed out and earned his fourth nomination for the award. Andersson is an incredible talent, and he may need to move away from Minnesota in order to actually win something.

Also at 8 is Dragons center Randy Randleman, his first selection in the top-10 after an incredible 26 goal, 64 point performance. Randleman's production was insane considering his lack of ice time compared to other players high up on the scoring sheet. If not for Theo Kane's record breaking season, Randleman would have been a surefire contender for the Mexico and Khan award, but unfortunately had to just settle for the Jeff Dar award for best two-way player. Randleman's numbers peaked at just about the right time, as regression may hurt him going forward. But Randleman has proven before he can deal with adversity as well as any player in the league.

At 7 on the list is Nicholas Pedersen, gus furst ever top-10 appearance after a number of seasons in the 20s (5 to be exact). Pedersen had his best season to date, and alongside teammate Randy Randleman, generated a ton of offense without being one of the league leaders in TOI. He scored 25 goals and 59 points, generated almost 200 shots, all while playing 120+ minutes on the penalty kill. While age is knocking on the door, Pedersen remains a force in this league and a reason the Dragons have been good for so long.
