S35 Colorado Mammoths Captain Announcement

We are here tonight to announce the Captains of the S35 Colorado Mammoths. These players will be part of our leadership council. They will be the ones leading our young players on the ice and showing them way each and every game. We are truly lucky to have so many great players in Colorado and the task of choosing these captains was very tough. The voting was super close but we managed to find a few distinct winners. So we will now start by announcing the Alternate Captains for the S35 Colorado Mammoths.

Our first alternate captain has been a long time member of the Mammoths and has worn the "A" in the past for the Mammoths. He's been a top 6 center his entire tenure in the brown sweaters and will continue to be doing so for the S35 season. He's definitely not a vocal leader. But he leads by example. He's the type of player that every SMJHL team wishes they could have on their roster and he will help mold the future forwards of the Mammoths. We are proud to announce the first alternate captain for the season 35 Colorado Mammoths....

Our next alternate nearly stole the "C" this season but will be wearing the "A" for at least one more season. He's the youngest of our leadership group but one of the most vocal. He's our defensive leader and the one that leads the way on offense and defense for the team many nights. His play this year should be of elite level and define what it means to be an SMJHL defender. He's a monster for the Mammoths and an upcoming star for the German National Team. We are proud to announce our second alternate captain for the season 35 Colorado Mammoths....

And now for what everyone is here to find out - the Captain of the Colorado Mammoths. Our captain for the 35th season of the SMJHL has quietly been one of the best forwards in the history of the organization. He has been an all-tools player for the Mammoths but has been overlooked in the past despite his excellent work ethic. Outshined by players with a bit more scoring touch or a slightly better defensive game - it's time for him to shine now as the true leader of the Colorado Mammoths. He will be the one that everyone on the team will turn to in moments of need or moments of celebration. The General Manager staff has complete confidence in him to take the team we have assembled and help bring them together as a family. Without futher ado, the Colorado Mammoths are proud to announce the captain for the S35 season and his first time wearing the "C"...

We are so proud to have such a great team here. We have so much confidence in our captains this season and moving forward. We feel our leadership group is as good, or better, than any in the SMJHL. They are great players, great people, and true Mammoths. Let's get it team!
