After taking a big step forward, making the second round of the playoffs for the first time since Season 25, the Chiefs finally landed on the league's radar. Crutchfield, while he will only be a short term member of the team with his impending retirement, will step into a huge role with the Chiefs. Lining up with an all time great in Alonzo Garbanzo, the two will form one of, if not the best defensive pairings in the SHL, instantly making the Chiefs a serious cup contender.
