TBF, Wozy wasn't the most recent addition. We've added Joakim Lindqvist, Inari Twain, and Daedric Heikkinen all at forward. Plus we've got that stud Thunder39 in the pipeline

Wait!! Stop right there again! you are in violation of mis-information
My name is Coach Biz and i am the GM of team Austria... and while i hate using this term.. calling out Austria with the above information is #FakeNews. perhaps you meant to say Latvia and Czechoslovakia are in need of a change... that would make a bit more sense than Austria who is one of the premier small country teams in the IIHF..
Why do i say that? well lets take a look....
Jon Ross
Matthew Auston
Tigole Bitties
Maximilian Wachter
Alex Light
Don Pellegrino
Mike Izzy
Cam Ouellette
Wolf Hammersmark
Lord Vader
Karl Hefeweizen
Hunky Monkey
Cara Hohenberg
Marc-Andre Malkin
Niklaus St. Croix
Luisa Koller
Jason Forbrook
Sepp Reiter
Nucky Toohoots
As you can see, team austria has a wonderful mix of high level veteran talent, in prime players and premier up and coming stars. Sure as a small team we have to keep on top of recruitment each and every season, but we have a dedicated group working with a committed GM and a plan in place for our franchise to stay fresh and viverant. Lets take a look below...

After the games, grab a schnitzel and a beer and visit the team Austria hall of fame! The place where we pay homage to those whom have made a big impact on our small country. There you can enjoy the memorabilia of Lucas Burger, Austrias newest member of the HOF and the guardian of the goal post for all 11 seasons of his SHL career which resulted in a Bronze medal in S29 and a Gold Medal in S33.
and of course, please watch us each and every season go for the gold..LIVE on the Thundercast! One of the leagues most premier Podcasts... Hosted each and every Pod by Hunter 'Thunder' Jones
I hope this tour of Team Austria helps you understand that this great young franchise is active, engaged, healthy and hungry to win gold..now and for the future.
Coach Biz -
GM of team Austria [/b]
Thank you for your insight! In this article I was not looking at the depth of the teams and who can compete or cannot. I was looking at the amount of players choosing this country therefore the future of it compared to other teams. Unfortunately Team Austra has been low on new players but as I mentioned - one season of good recruitment could change that, same as for Team Ireland.
I'd put Switzerland way above Italy AND Japan in any hockey metric known to mankind. (Heck Switzerland is multilingual and you can have a mix of Latin & Germanic names to suit with your narrative)
That is totally fine. I am just giving my ideas and Im open for you all to discuss and offer alternatives as well. Team Switzerland could also be an option, although I dont see it being as culturally generic as Italy. You said that Switzerland would have mix of Latin and Germanic...but I believe that Switzerland has more Germanic roots than any other so it would not fill the space for the Latin side that much.

Instead of even listing the blank field for a user to fill in when they create their player page, remove it and make one of their first Rookie PTs being about educating them of current team statuses, wait times to see the international ice, and playing time opportunities. Then allow them to make an educated decision which will allow them to claim some TPE and their Updater can add their choice as it will be within their update page.

Love this idea! I truly think this would be a great PT for the newcomers that would require them to think about it properly.

Sure - as long as it actually brings in any new players.

I have too many opinions on the matter to list in the short form, but if this does move towards becoming a reality, I'd like to offer up some thoughts.
Always welcome to do so. Was trying to reach out for you this morning as you're the one updating the eligible player list, but failed to do so :(.

That information was based on the eligible players list and those who cannot change their national teams anymore. Also it was not based on the actual addons, but who is the youngest added player. The list might have not been updated correctly, so my apologies for any wrong information.
