I think everything's been discussed at length already (I read through everything before posting this) but just to give my 2c, I'm aware of the issues he had another site (although I don't know the full details, admittedly) and he's been passed over for at least one job in the past (off the top of my head) because of it, but he's been nothing but a model citizen here in the SHL. He had a detailed application and showed not only interest but a willingness to try and make things better.
In the end it's a job that only requires a few weeks of work and is the lowest paying job on the site. I can't help but feel people are blowing this a little out of proportion.
