Plastic Bowl wanted to go to Detroit a bit more than other teams. So he fell a bit on my board. Bonk, I thought, would maybe want to share a STL LR with you, so therefore I was assuming Joe would pick him at some point.

So while I wholeheartedly agree with everything in this post, here's what I'm guessing GMs were thinking (outside of @InciteHysteria who has already spoken for himself, and anyone else if I missed it)

1 - He's an "old man" who doesn't use Discord
2 - He might not be as invested in his second player
3 - He's not super-active around the forums blah blah blah
4 - We don't know how he'd fit on our team [would rather play with Slappy, was in DET with his last player, w/e]

To WHICH I would say...

1 - He totally does. Does he use it a LOT? No. But he's on Discord and has been using it more and more. Not that it would kill y'all to check in on the forums from time to time or anything, but he has adjusted with the times. As mentioned on the most recent Big Slappy, we actually had a really interesting conversation in Jets Discord on Friday night.
2 - Speaking of the Big Slappy, if you haven't noticed both Bonk and Slappy are still just as invested in the league as they were at the peak of their first players' careers, I can't help you. I literally can't.
3 - See above. Yes, he doesn't post a lot. Hell, usually Slappy posts the podcasts. But Bonk doesn't miss any TPE opportunities, or Big Manious wouldn't have lasted as long as he has and set the records he has for the Winnipeg Jets. And he's already up to 186 with Lil Manius before the season's even started, without even claiming the mock draft yet and stuff like that. And you don't have to worry about his bank.
4 - He'd literally play with anyone. Hell, think of all the people he has played with in Winnipeg. He's had to deal with *me* for 12 seasons now.

However, I am going to take solace in the fact that Lil' Manius, like Zach Evans, is starting his career as a 25th overall pick in the SMJHL Draft. Because as a Falcon, knowing St. Louis got both him and @mstuk41 makes me want to pull my damn hair out, and that's with the Falcons having a pretty damn good draft IMO.
