Since we are starting to decide who to induct into the Rage hall of fame, I thought this would be a good chance to make an “all-Rage” team.

G: Jason Aittokallio (on Rage S31-S41)
Clearly the best goalie the Rage have ever had, this list wouldn’t be complete without Aittokallio on it. In 429 games played for the rage, Aittokallio secured 208 wins, all while maintaining a .907 save percentage, and an average goals against under 3. He was also extremely clutch in the playoffs, winning 33 games out of 49 played for the Rage, with a save percentage of .923.

C: Jordan Nugent-Hopkins (on Rage S10-S14; S18-S19)
Nugent-Hopkins ended his career with 350 games played for the rage, retiring with a plus minus mark of positive 80. He finished with nearly 300 points and 900 hits, so he was a formidable opponent on both sides of the puck. He was also clutch for the Rage, scoring 25 game winning goals in his career

W: Tommy Creller (S21-S29); (S34-S35)
Creller finished his career with over 550 games played for the Rage, and nearly 450 points to boot. He also won the Anton Razor trophy for the Rage during their championship cup effort of S22.

W: Harry Hans (S30-S38); (S40-S41)
Hans finished his career with over 550 games played for the Rage. He had 216 goals and 248 assists, for a total of 464 points. He was another clutch winger for the rage, scoring 34 game winning goals in his career.

D: Erik Chisling (on Rage S6-S8)
While only on the Rage for three seasons, Chisling certainly made his mark. In only 160 games played, Chisling got over 120 points as a defender. He also tallied up 318 hits, and kept a career plus minus of plus thirteen. Inducted into the SHL hall of fame in the class of S12, Chisling was truly a no brainer for one of the defender slots.

D: Meb Keflezighi (on Rage S10-S16)
Meb had an illustrious career for the Rage, playing almost 400 games for them. In that time, he scored 141 points. While his plus minus was horrendous at negative 111, one only needs to look at his shots blocked and hits to see the impact he made. He retired with nearly 1,000 hits amassed, as well as nearly 500 shots blocked.

A Silver Road

Drought Ender, Curse Breaker, Firebird

Center:
Ron Mexico (S1) - Original players with a trophy named after them are legends for sure, and having and over point-per-game career is something which no one can hope to do in todays league. It's impossible to compare current players to Ron, but that only helps to cement his position here.

Wing:
Vlad McZehrl (S24) - Probably the most iconic player I have ever seen. Purest out and out offensive guy I have ever seen and delivered almost everywhere he went during his career. McZ always got his team what they were looking for and he got rewarded for it often.

Chris York (S33) - York was someone who had a little bit of a slow start when you think of top tier allstar players. Not top pick in either of his drafts or anything like that. But he has consistently been improving and will end up being looked back upon as a legend if he can keep his career going until it gets him even more accolades.

Defense:
Chris Partlow (S10) - Not too sure about players from this generation to be quite honest, but I do have a certain respect for high point defenseman. Good with awards and a few cups always helps too.

Alonzo Garbanzo (S21) - Godbanzo is someone who I have played with and is THE BEST Dman of the SHL all time. For over 10 seasons he was consistently one of the best players in the league and the best defenseman bar none in many of those. Irreplaceable and not likely to be topped by anyone else in my books anytime soon.

Goalie:
John McBride (S5): Always easy to look to award-named players as legends of the league, six awards in seven years at his best, and just one of those players who will never be left unmentioned when it comes to top of the class players.

Center : Ron Mexico (S1-S9)

RM has the highest legacy scores of centers so it made him an easy choice. He left such an early legacy stamp on the league that one of the trophies was named after him. Which he won 4 times in his career along with 11 other accolades.

Goalie: Jakub Aittokallio (S10-19)

The best goalie in SHL history  he has the most wins in league history with 402 , a 0.905 save%, and a GAA of 2.42. Jakub was so reliable his draft team was where he retired. spent his entire career with Edmonton.

Winger: Vlad McZehrl (S20-S29)

McZerhl is one, if not the most, decorated players in SHL history he had 655 career point and played 653 games. Keeping a point per game for his entire career is very impressive and understandable as to why his legacy score is very high.

Winger: Chris York (S30-S39)

The dude is at 850 legacy rating and  still in the SHL and is a stud in fantasy. With 12 award in his career so far there does not seem to be any sight of slowing down.

Defense: Alonzo Garbanzo (S20-S29). 

This player never seems like he wants to quit player. He clearly takes care of his body with 20+ seasons in the league. With all that time spent its clear why he made 1st all-star team nine times.

Defense: Darian Sherbluk (S1-S9)

Sherbluk has a very lucrative career with 753 career points over 1100 games, 575 of those being assists. He’s not as decorated as defensemen in his era but a stud that his teams were luck to have.

A pure offensive threat on and off the ice, Valentine was a legendary scorer on the backend and fixture on the powerplay.

Ivo Willems - S10 - Left Wing

A brilliant goal scorer and franchise face, Ivo was everything young rookies wanted to be. Ivo was the face of a young New England Wolfpack franchise and went on to have a hall of fame career.

Griffin Simons - S20 - Center

The definition of a perfect playmaking center. Even among the Hall of Fame, his career is a rarity. Simons lead the Hawks to several cups and never had a bad season from the day he entered the league to the day he retired.

Jakub Tanner - S20 - Goalie

Perhaps the best goalie in SHL history. 4 cups, a McBride, a Honcho, and a Razov as playoff MVP. Tanner was an absolute beast.

Isaac Cormier-Hale - S33 - Defense

Its not often you come across a Latvian defender like ICH and there may never be another. The two way game that ICH brings is unmatched in today's SHL.

Going with the OG on this one. I think you will be pretty hard pressed to not find Ron Mexico on anyone's list. He has a trophy named after him in which he won not one, twice, or even three times... but FOUR times. The guy was a monster in the early goings of the SHL.

W - VLAD McZehrl (S20-29)

Are the all caps in the name necessary? No, but they make a statement and that is exactly what VLAD did in the SHL. He was a 5 time 1st team All Star, won the Challenge Cup 3 times, and won a whole truck load of personal trophies to go along with those. Also pretty impressive that he managed to play for 6 teams over his career.

W - Chris York (S30-39)

Chris York's career is still going strong as one of the more modern All-Stars within the SHL. It's tough to argue with the personal success that he has had over the past few seasons. He's been a first team all star 3 times and has won numerous personal trophies. He is well on his way to getting his name next to the legends of the SHL.

D - Chris Partlow (S10-19)

Another player who helped define his position in the more formative years of the SHL. Tough to not put a guy in the line up who was a 1st team All Star four times, won the Stevens trophy 3 times, and was nominated another 7 times.

D - Alonzo Garbanzo (S20-29)

The more modern version of Parlow's success as a defenseman in the SHL. Garbanzo had a very long career and made the 1st team All Star team... get this... NINE TIMES. Garbanzo literally was on the 1st team for practically a decade. Most players consider it pretty lucky to make the All-Star team even once and Garbanzo might as well have bought a house on that property.

G - John McBride (S1-9)

Another guy who has a trophy named after himself, and it is pretty tough to see why it wouldn't be named after him. He won his own trophy 6 times and was rocking a career save percentage of .915 (which is higher than either of the 2 goalies ahead of him in legacy points).

VLAD McZerhl (S20-S29)

Who would be more fitting to play alongside the best centre of all time? The best winger of all time. A point per game player throughout his entire career. This duo would be deadly.

W - Chris York (S30-39)

The best winger in this era. 850 legacy score. You can always count on York to score, pass, hit. You can count on him to about everything and that's why I'm choosing him.

D - Chris Partlow (S10-S19)

Best defenseman of all time. Another no brainer. 3 Scott Stevens and another 7 nominations. He also has a whole lot of other awards, nominations and all star selections. This guy basically did it all in his career.

D - Alonzo Garbanzo (S20-29)

Another all time great. The 2nd best defenseman off all time based on legacy score.  Some may argue he even may be better than Partlow with his 5 Stevens.

G - John McBride (S1-9)

The greatest goalie of all time will stop all the shots when on the ice with these guys. He even has an award named after him to show how good he is. With him in net, this team can do wonders.
