Well the Coach is on defense, and I think we both know that the 4th line of defense is usually a double shift anyway. I think everyone in the SMJHL has double shifted their 4th line defense unless they have that many defense, which is rare. I have my "coach" double shifted as well, its not favoritism its just the best way for Vancouver to win and give us the better odds on the ice. its not like there are players on the 4th line for COL are inactive for Samee to replace them.

That’s not weird at all St. Louis under Joe’s Lines have typically always seen the rookies get less time than the senior players. I don’t know why every team making the playoffs matters. You’re better players play more minutes simply put.

sure, there's plenty of argument to be made whether or not the suspension was overkill, you're right but my point was, this was avoidable if he hadn't decided to shoot his mouth off in a completely unrelated article. i'm not about bashing your teammates for shit that's out of their control.

(also this suspension is clearly about him shooting his mouth off and definitely not about how he's been working as a coach for kelowna while he's playing for colorado)

This was avoidable if Colorado actually communicated clearly from the start about the lines situation. They finally talked about their plan after samee got suspended by the team.

That’s not weird at all St. Louis under Joe’s Lines have typically always seen the rookies get less time than the senior players. I don’t know why every team making the playoffs matters. You’re better players play more minutes simply put.

Every team making the playoffs mean that your regular season standing isnt as important. since your 2nd and 3rd year players are capped they dont have any tpe to earn, IF you care about winning (which i think should be secondary to an smjhl gm but thats a different issue), you should be giving your rookies a relatively significant amount of icetime (id say about even with the capped players) so that they get better stats and can reach more milestones, resulting in probably about 3-4 more tpe for the rookies come playoff time, which while small can make a difference. Also if they care about player retention some new players want to see their player have somewhat of an impact, and since regular season standing doesnt matter, giving those rookies more ice time can give them more motivation and reason to update because they see how much of an impact they make, instead of knowing that the whole season they are just going to play on the 3rd or 4th line
