Savoli after tonight's game it seemed like everything was clicking really well against your former almost team can you talk about that?

Uh yeah, I mean we played our style of Hockey. Pucks to the net, Traffic in front of the net, great transitional game, 3 Quarter Ice Games, playing a physical style of play. I thought we had the edge on them on Special Teams. Our Penalty Kill was great tonight, I felt like Hasek was in tip top shape. The defense was helping get one and done shots and not letting any great A chances go through, it really helped us on our game. We played a complete games tonight all in all.

Reflecting on transition and 3 Quarter Ice games can you tell us more on the idea behind it?

Yeah, before the game coach brought the game plan, a few of the players on Hali don't have as much endurance, and 3 Quarter Ice games is supposed to keep their players on the ice, and give us Prolonged O-zone ice time, that was one of the big weaknesses we were going after, I felt like we executed that gameplan very well. Transitional Game we just need to drive our pucks into the O-Zone or if they are playing really well at keeping us out of the zone go for a dump and chase game, and the entire night I felt we had them on their heels, we were catching them at great times. We were winning the puck races, and just overall skating better on the ice, and it's something we have been doing really well all season long.

Anything about this game that wasn't clicking during he season?

Obviously we knew we had to play a good style of hockey to get through playoffs, and it's been working really well lately. Um, something we weren't doing really well was Transitional Games, and 3 Quarter Ice games, and i feel we found a great group to figure those types of things out. We as a team do our jobs and try to play physically. Try to make hits that are there not getting out of position to make a hit that isn't there. Being disciplined on plays on positioning.

Obviously 5 Penalty Kills 100% tonight, you guys looking to do anything different this next game?

Obviously we are obviously doing very well at PKs, and doing well keeping pucks out of the middle and out of the point. Keeping pucks to the edges making it hard for them to shoot, Hasek was dynamite behind us, Backbone for the team for sure. We need to stay out of the box, it wasn't causing issues tonight, but Hali could figure somethings out, and get something to click and score some goals on PPs. Team is doing solid so far, and hopefully we can keep this going. We have to focus on the next game in hand, trying to widen the gap between us and Hali in Game 2.
