She explained she was from the South Shore and her brother was a hockey player that dreamed of growing up to play for the Pack. “I wish I could too. But I’m a girl.”

“Never doubt yourself. There are a ton of girls in the SHL and they’ve gone on to go into the hall of fame, and win Challenge Cups. If this is your dream, chase it.”

Erica walked out of the SHL store with a Bitties jersey for herself, her brother, both of her parents and an open invitation to attend a S49 Wolfpack game in Tigole’s private suite. The total came to $1,090 after tax. A price well worth it.

I gave it to a child inside the SHL store. She was crying because her mom wouldn't look away from her phone. She threw it in the garbage and said "I hate hockey"

I went in and purchased an authentic New England Black jersey. Who's name was on the back you ask? Yours truly, Dick Clapper. It cost me nothing but my autograph as the proprietor of the store recognized me and I ended up pocketing the $250 to use another time.

250 bucks. Not enough to buy equipment and only useful for minor items. CC2 would be half tempted to just store it in his bank account since he didn't get a 10x10 contract, but he probably can't use this gift card anywhere but the SHL store so he heads on over and buys a bunch of lotto tickets in hopes he can strike it rich.

Instead he uses the two hundred and fifty bucks and only pulls out dollars from the lotto. Poor investment.

When I got that gift certificate I walked myself right down to the SHL store and picked me up a brand new Harry Carpet Toronto North Stars authentic jersey. Not only is Harry Carpet my teammate on the North Stars, but he's going into his first season on the game day roster. Now as if all of that isn't enough, he also happens to have the best name in the entire SHL so it was a no brainer to pick one up. @Carpy48

With a whole 250 dollars I would go into the store and buy the last of my good friend Leashaun King's Jerseys and hand them up on various walls and stuff in remembrance of him. Whenever I go to a game im not playing in, I will wear his jersey and pour one out for him

I used the gift certificate to purchase giftcards to the Oculus Store so I can buy a few VR games I have been wanting but too cheap to purchase

While the IIHF is going strong in Slovakia, I went to a hockey store on a day off to spend that gift certificate I received anonymously. I decided to spend that money on a very nice authentic Dick Clapper @5ympathies team Canada jersey. The man has not gotten much ice time so far during the tournament, but he'll be a key leader in the seasons to come.

With my recent call up to the SHL I thought it would be a good idea to get myself some Panthers merch. Bought myself some Tshirts, some mugs, even some towels I can use after I finish showering. As you probably can tell, I'm very excited to be making the jump to the big leagues.

The SHL Store probably overprices all it's stuff (like 2 mil for a hockey stick at the equipment store are you kidding me) so I'd probably buy half a Kit Smeb jersey, then put it on the 2nd shelf of my collectables bookcase because Kit Smeb is on the 2nd line.

I bought a "Free Gorlab" T-Shirt ($30) that immediately had a loogie hocked onto it, and then a limited edition Nick Brain UK IIHF jersey on clearance for $190. Finally I rounded it off with a Buffalo Stampede Burger and a smoked Barracuda-on-a-Stick ($20 total) from the strip's hole-in-the-wall food place, then a couple nice non-alcoholic cocktails at The Rush Down Bar, tended ably by @Rublic ($10 after tips).

For those who haven’t visited the new SHL store.. man it’s awesome...It’s about a block long and has everything!

So I went right for the vintage Liefer Reilly Kelowna Knights jersey with the ‘A’ on it for $199.99.. which I’ll be sporting the next time i hit up Prospera Place to watch my old juniors team play.

And while on line I looked over at the candy stand and grabbed a Calgary Dragons s39 bottle of steroids...which was really just bubble gum in a bottle. ($3.99)

First I was just browsing jerseys in the new SHL store, but they were all overpriced and I knew I wouldn't really want to wear any of them anyway. Then I saw an amazing offer that I couldn't pass up. So for some reason I went and bought the entire limited edition collection of ten Patrice Nadeau bobble heads for $250. Signed and numbered of course. Why you ask? I ask that myself too now that they're all sitting on my living room shelf, looking at me. @Fluw
