Somewhere in San Francisco
A week before the start of the pre-season Omelette took a good look at the house they had acquired. They. She was now living with the rest of the McClouds, easier to handle considering she didn't exactly get a lucrative job thanks to her uncle's image floating around her recommendations. There was also Yoshimitsu there, a man of good heart... although fairly naïve. He had been pretty nice to pretty much everyone so far and it was amazing how peaceful he seemed to be despite his unique appearance. Of course, she was just happy to have a roof. That and her cousin was off to Japan where he was going to try hockey. An interesting situation, at least. "Pretty nice place, isn't it?" Yoshimitsu McCloud asked her, having appeared next to her after helping out the moving crew. They didn't have a whole lot to move into the new house but they appreciated his help. "I wonder if we'll start to go soft by living in such conditions. That and I don't know if there are any forests nearby to practice." The woman sighed, shaking her head. "You play hockey now, Yoshi. Remember that. The Pride are still keeping you but you'll probably be playing for minimal cash. They need your head in the game, OK?" He nodded, holding her hands. "Don't worry! I'll keep listening to the bosses and I'll help them any way I can. Still, we do have an off-day today... we could check the city." The girl rose an eyebrow as he seemed to be examining the house. "Just you and me? What about everyone else?" Yoshi shrugged. "Ibukimitsu is at school and she's only coming back at six. Takimitsu is looking for a job. Mizutimitsu and Kunimitsu-" Omelette chuckled. "Those I know, sent them to the SHL Store. They should be back in a couple of hours, I think." Yoshi crossed his arms. "Wait, they won't take that long there." The genius smiled, tilting her red-tinted glasses. "Yes. But they need to figure out how automatic doors work first. No offence to your sisters, but they aren't very bright." He laughed, offering his hand for her to hold. However, before she did so, Omelette asked him something. "Can you... can you take off your helmet?" He stopped. "I know you really like to use it but... I kind of wanted to see your face. Not the devil I see 24/7." Yoshi sighed, looking at the floor. "Yeah... I... I keep hearing from the bosses that it might be a good idea to lose the helmet but... I don't know, I don't feel like I'm myself without the helmet." Omelette frowned, looking to the side for a second. "Done." She looked back. He held his helmet on his hands, showing his face again, scars and all. "But I'm only taking it off because you want me to. Don't get used to it." As he walked to put his helmet inside the house, Omelette giggled. "It's fine..."
