A dead career

A very special report coming on one of those Entertainment and Sports Programming Networks just outside a fairly big mansion today in Vancouver. A decent number of reporters are waiting outside of it. The recent news from Vancouver Whalers is they traded two players who were most likely going up for picks. Basically sacrificing this season so they can be stronger in upcoming future seasons. This probably comes with losing a decent amount of players last season due to call ups but they did have a handful of max Total Points Earned players. One of which being one of the two people traded. Jon Forty-One. He angry loud mouthed minors veteran was determined to make sure he joined the Vancouver Whalers Hall of Fame and leave them as a legend. Which making himself a captain after being one of the best players in the play-offs he could make a decent case to being. However, early yesterday that dream died as he was traded to the Halifax Raiders. One of the better teams this season overall. This actually does give Jon Forty-One a decent chance of winning back-to-back since with the other trade happening earlier they went from slim to improbable. Most people who know Jon knows he has a very short fuse and loves revenge so maybe this will happen in minors too? Out comes Jon Forty-One with a lot of his luggage in the back of his car and whilst he is not crying right now it is one of the most obvious realisations that he has been crying his eyes out. A lot of reporters eventually just shout stuff at him but if you did not know any better it was like Jon Forty-One was not in the mood to talk right now. He eventually drives off but out comes a long hair male that doesn't look like he is over 20 years old with a bit of a tan to his skin. A lot of the reporters crowd around him and it takes a while for this person to calm them down so he can answer a couple of questions: Question #1: "Who are you? Are you his agent? Tell us everything!" Jose Forty-Three: Oooooh! No, no nooo! I am a Pro Baseball Experience Starting Pitcher for the Anchorage Wheelers silly! We do not have agents in the cult. I am of the same cult if you could not tell. Jon just asked me to answer your questions since he does not want to say anything to "those vulture like mother fuckers" I think he said. But feel free to ask me whatever! Question #2: "What are Jon's thoughts on being trading? Why is he betraying the people of Vancouver by going to a team the players and fans mock a lot?" Jose Forty-Three: Ummm. Well that is quite the loaded question. Are Simulation Hockey League reporters this mean? Jesus. Well first off, I know for a fact Mr. Forty-One did not want to be traded. I do not know how hard he fought to stay with them but I remember him venting through tears saying "He would have gone down with the ship as a proud captain rather than drown alone" I do hope the fans of the Whalers do not get angry with him or call him a traitor cause if anything it is the team abandoning him from what I have heard and seen. Us at the cult are kind of known for undying loyalty to whatever team picks them and I would say Jon takes that to the highest degree of all of us considering he has a personal vendetta against damn near every Simulation Hockey League major league team. Question #3: "So why are you here talking for him?" Jose Forty-Three: Oh, I love the attention! An excuse to get Hockey fans to love me? Hell! Why would I not want to gain more fans! People sometimes call me a media whore but IIIII would disagree. I just like the attention! Also I guess I am here to see what followers of our cult are keeping and staying in this property that the cult owns. I know Jon Forty-One literally just moved out of here and said "He is never coming back to Vancouver again." and he is not planning on buying a property in Halifax. I do find it a tad strange that West Yorkshire in England have a team in the minors but all the power to that country I guess! Question #4: "What do you mean by never coming back?" Jose Forty-Three: I do not know if you could tell but he does not have any hit of anger. Jon is fairly scary when angryyyy. He probably would have beaten the hell out of me and a few of you if he was, jaja! Nooo, he is just very sad now. I think he feels heavily betrayed and his dream is dead. I will admit Jon probably has had the roughest path of all of us in sports leagues. You guys in this league seem to be quite cruel or shady at times! Question #5: "What is next for Jon Forty-One?" Jose Forty-Three: I do not know. Maybe you should ask him instead. I know he was thinking of staying down for an extra season if the Total Points Earned cap was increased for veterans to 450 but apparently that is dead. He will be joining Laszlo in the major leagues now of his sport. Oh! I do know he will definitely be doing his end of season media when you guys spike the money up! Though usually he talks about the rookies of the Vancouver Whalers and I do not think that will be happening now. So maybe it we cover the Halifax Raiders instead! I am sure he will do a season review afterwards or just before covering that stuff. I would also say this will have given him more than ample time to calm down and reflect about it but...This is Jon Fucking Forty-One we are talking about. He still is not over just missing the 1st round. Sooo it might be the angriest interview too. I dunno. Oh, I know in his next interview he was planning on proving how ever Simulation Hockey League General Managers fucked up by not picking him too. So that will be fun too! Oh man what a treat! Well, for everyone other than Jon I guess. He err...He is not in a good place mentally right now. I am shocked he is even continuing to play on at this point. And with that ends the report coverage of the aftermath of the draft. More recently we are hearing that he has apparently heard from a lot of former Vancouver Whaler team mates and alumni but is continuing to distance himself from all of them which is very unlike Jon but he probably is feeling very down. His first two matches for the Halifax raiders have not gone very well either as he now has to find chemistry with a whole new organisation. He apparently is now just staying in a nearby hotel waiting to see what happens but you could tell by both lack luster performances so far he does not have much heart in his game anymore.
