Written Task: You have been asked to organize a charity event for a cause of your choosing sponsored by your team. What charity are you supporting? What are your plans for the event?

In the age of social media many athletes use platforms like Instagram and Twitter to connect with their fans and grow their brand. Social medias can be a good tool for growth but could also backfire and cause problems. Your player recently got to experience just how impactful social media can be with either a controversial tweet or a viral Instagram photo.

Written - You tweeted something that ended up being really controversial, your tweet is now the talk of Twitter. What did you tweet? How has the response been on Twitter? Did you expect this response? How has the controversy affected you?

Graphic - Your most recent Instagram post went viral, smashing your previous most liked photo. Show us a screenshot of this photo on the Instagram app, must include the viral photo, the number of liked, your player's handle and the caption.

Can you change the global PT claim format to this? That way when I search my name I don't have to scroll back up to see what PT my name is under and make sure I didn't already claim it.

The following players may claim 1 capped S49 TPE for participating in the 3 on 3 Showdown #1 task. Users with a 1 next to their name may claim an additional 1 uncapped TPE for the correct prediction - the Los Angeles Panthers! Future Vision

It's all to easy to focus solely on the present, but in a league that's going into its 50th season, it is important to look down the road. Your coaches have decided to sit you down and have a chat about what things will be like 5 years down the line.

Written Task: Discuss your thoughts of what things will be like for you and/or your team five years from now. How good do you think your team will be? Who will be the biggest stars? Do you think you'll still be with your same team? What do you expect your stats and role to be like?

Graphic Task: Create a poster advertising the opening night game of S55 for your current team, featuring your team's future biggest rising star. Must include a player render with a current SHL player's name, an SHL logo, and an advertising slogan to sell tickets!

DEATH BATTLE!!!!

Like the classic YouTube series, have a PT where users breakdown their player versus a peer and answer who would win a DEATH BATTLE! Where do they have an edge, where might their opponent beat them? Part meme-ery, part stats, part whatever else you want to put down. This could be... strange and interesting.

Would love to start seeing more PTs themed on real life events...for example Joker's being released this week so there'd be a Joker themed PT, on Halloween week there could be a Halloween themed PT, etc

One of the most popular items of SHL merchandise, as with most hockey leagues, are jerseys. When players come down the tunnel rocking their threads however, they get little say in what attire they sport; the color scheme and design is picked by GMs. But now, teams are surveying players to select a third jersey to wear on rare occasions

Written Task: Third jerseys are worn on special occasions and are a way to mix things up. In 150 words or more, tell us about how you would want your team's third jersey to look and be used: what the color scheme would be, if there would be stripes on the sleeves, how the logo would be placed and displayed, how it ties in to your home and away jerseys, when you would wear them, etc.

Graphic Task: Create a marketing poster about a sale of your team's new third jerseys to fans! Must include a graphical representation of the store with at least one jersey hanging, with a logo swap, as well a 2 bullet points on why the fans should purchase the jersey.

Written Task: How would you recruit people to join the SHL? The standard go bug Reddit or something a little more outside the box.

Graphic: The SHL wants YOU to join the SHL. Or some sort of poster that could be used to shove in a person's face.

New Year’s Resolution

With the new year upon us, it is time to wave goodbye to 2019 and of course, to make some New Year’s Resolutions.

Written Task: Discuss what your player will be doing for New Year’s. Will you be partying? Who are you with? What will you miss or not miss about 2019? What are your New Year’s Resolutions and will you be able to keep them?

Graphic Task: Make an invite for your New Year’s Party. Be creative, must show effort.

Arena Eats - Looking at what kind of food your team would have on the menu at their home games or possibly what the player likes to eat when going to games. I think stadium/arena food could be a fun PT for people to do around their players/team.

Negotiating is never easy, but your GM calls you to talk about your next deal.

Written Option- Make the case for why you should get more money. Why are you an important player? How much money do you really deserve? Sell yourself in any way that you can (must be at least 150 words).

Graphic Option- Make a picture of a big play that you’ve made and why it was important. Must include a logo swap and a short caption.
