It was decided since there was some downtime before the SMJHL playoffs begin that some of us would get together for some fun, and for Charity!  So special thanks to Danny Marston and the St. Louis Scarecrows for hosting the event, where all proceeds went to support The Girl Scouts of America.

*Game Note:  This was my first real go in FHM, so I tried to make it so it had to play everyone.  Even with this in mind, it forced me to add some of the randomly generated players in order to properly fill out lines....and for whatever reason, it thought my backup goalie was a better starter than me, so I in fact sat this whole game...sorry.  Also, in naming the two teams, I gave them both the first name of SHL...which in hindsight was a bad idea as when stuff happens, it always happens to...SHL.  Otherwise, enjoy!

Welcome to tonight's game, coming to you from Enterprise Center.  Tonight's pre-playoff game is a battle between the SHL Thin Mints, and the SHL Do-Si-Do's!  2,400 people are in attendance for today's game.  In the net for the Thin Mints is Anaheim Goaltender, Separa Borro!  Netminding for the Do-Si-Do's tonight is some guy named Montgomery that nobody likes, because he's not a jack-cheese.

We are ready to drop the puck as team captains Danny Marston and Strom Chamberlain come to center ice for a "ceremonial" puck drop and photo shoot with representatives from the Girl Scouts of America!

Faceoff: SHL wins the draw as Seppälä was completely tied up...
Townsend rams it deep into SHL territory...
Townsend retreats and has the puck for the Do-Si-Dos.
Townsend gives it to Seppälä...
Seppälä passes it over to Townsend.
Townsend moves the disc to Ferlin behind the goal...
Scianna slams into Ferlin behind the cage...
The hit sees Marston away with the puck for SHL.
But he's pressured and can't make it back very far.
Bad pass by Marston, he gave it right to Ferlin.
Ferlin forces the pass to Townsend...
Townsend passes it over to Dittmer.
Dittmer dumps the puck into the Thin Mints zone...
Townsend shoulders Scianna out and picks up the dump-in for SHL.
He taps it down low to Seppälä...
Banked behind the net for Townsend...
Townsend tries to squeeze the puck through traffic, back to Kennedy.
Kennedy slips it to the net...
Borro just gets a piece of it!
The rebound is picked up by Kennedy.
To the front of the net for Matula...
He feathers one behind the goal to Connolly...
He tries to force it to Sanders in the slot...
He moves it on for Connolly...
Connolly with the puck...
Relayed high in the slot to Matula...
Matula flips it over to Sanders.
It's out of play, into the stands.

Harpham taps it into the corner...
Sanders overskated the play and the Thin Mints have it...
The Thin Mints clear it back to center...
Harpham chases it down the ice, and he beats Selman to the puck.
And it's sent back behind the goal line by Harpham.
Kanoff and Connolly chase the dump-in ... Kanoff has it.
Kanoff with a risky pass to Hernadivic...
Hernadivic's pass for Kanoff...
But the pass misses the mark.
Kanoff edges out Connolly and grabs the loose puck.
It rolls back to neutral territory...
Selman in a footrace with Harpham...SHL gets the puck...
Harpham skates into the Thin Mints zone...
Harpham moves the puck to Wagner in the slot...
He moves it quickly to Zaporozhets...
He moves the puck to Petrenko...
Tapped over to Wagner in traffic...
Wagner in the circle...Wrists it to the net...
Hudson gets his stick in the way!
We get a whistle as the puck is out of play.
