The Revenge List - Part Three

[Hello there Mr. Grader. It is ready to be graded. It is roughly 1750 words long]
Hello Simulation Hockey League! I have not done a piece of media in quite a bit of time so I decided it was probably time to do an update so I can remember/keep myself up to date on the whole revenge list situation. Plus I would like to get a bit of cash back into the ol' bank account too which is never really a bad thing so why not do it whilst off-season never ends lol. I probably should do more Jon Forty-One interviews but I just have not had the motivation to do them. The main story or reason behind this or a recap in too long; didn't read form: So Jon Forty-One swore his revenge against every team in the Simulation Hockey League after the few Simulation Hockey League General Managers said they were really tempted by picking him up in the draft ended up not doing so for other now heavily dead players. Only for him to drop into the middle of a 2nd round and was not even the Minnesota Chiefs' first option. At the time of the draft, he was on average a top 10 TPE earner in his draft class and still to the current off season we find ourselves in the same situation. The last time I did part two, roughly half way through a season and a half ago, Jon Forty-One was sitting around 9th-11th overall in his draft class and as one of the best Right Wing forwards in his draft class and well on his way to being 1 of the steals of the draft and proving the Simulation Hockey League General Managers wrong. The last time I looked (I would look again but the Total Points Earned Tracker spreadsheet refuses to load properly for me so this is from about a month ago roughly.) Jon Forty-One is 6th-7th in his respective draft class and is close to being the best non defensive player in the draft class. Catching the absolute big guns of my draft class is not happening unless they literally stop updating, playing or just recreate but that realistically is far too improbable. So he is roughly 15 to 18 places higher than he went in the draft. However, that is not enough for Jon Forty-One. He is a rather angry ice hockey player from the once loving and generally lovely person he was. He decided he wanted to get personal revenge on every team that fucked him over and made him the lowest drafted cultist out of everyone in the cult he shares a few sports stars with. This is also the reason why Jon Forty-One is such a miserable git and angry all the time, bless him. The way for Jon Forty-One to get revenge is simple. He needs to get a game winning goal against every team just once or knock them out of the play-offs. Mainly because this is Jon's way of saying 'Fuck you for not drafting me' This was the up to date revenge list the last time I did this: - The Buffalo Stampede - The Chicago Syndicate - The Hamilton Steel Hawks - The Tampa Bay Barracudas - The Toronto North Stars - The West Kendall Platoon - The Calgary Dragons - The Edmonton Blizzard - The Los Angles Panthers - The New Orlean Specters - The San Fran Pride - The Texas Renegades However certain circumstances have changed with this and whilst I have put the changes in on my little spreadsheet tracker I have and said it on discord I need to do the updates in these medias or I will lose it. Firstly: The Edmonton Blizzard. A bit hard to get revenge on the team I am enjoying my time with, find myself having a laugh in the locker room a lot of the time and has said basically they regret not taking me. Perhaps you could argue that picking me up IS the revenge cause god damn does Jon Forty-One suck 80% of the time. Every now and then he has an insane game but it for sure is not consistent. They will be removed from the revenge list (Or at least for now!) Next up, The Minnesota Chiefs: My old team. A possible solution to the Blizzard situation would be to just replace one team for the other. It would make sense since I have always ran with the joke that Jon Forty-One detests everyone he plays with. No different from his Chief seasons. Mainly due to Jon not liking they picked someone above in and he was not the first choice. But I have decided to not do this and keep the Minnesota Chiefs off the list. Mainly because I do not know if I will even be able to get everyone off the list by/before retirement nor do I have any ill will to the Minnesota Chiefs. They could become a dynasty or continue to struggle and I'm indifferent. The only way I add them is if by some miracle I managed to have Jon get revenge on every Simulation Hockey League team very quickly and it means I do not really have much left to do with him. But I am confident it will not come to that. Ireland & Sweden: Recently in the international games. Jon Forty-One got the game winning goal for the Team United Kingdom lads against the Irish on St. Pats Day. Causing the day to be now known as St. Cedric's Day. You're welcome. In the finals against the Swedish team. Jon Forty-One ended up getting the 2nd goal in the final as The United Kingdom became the last team to win gold on the Simon T era. A great way to end it for sure. They are not removed from the revenge list either because no international teams are on the list to begin with. So revenge was not needed. However, if Jon Forty-One fails and has to be deleted from the cult then realistically the next country I will pick can be from either Team United Kingdom again or currently Ireland. The Swedish are not applicable purely due to the fact my cult has a character already from Sweden and I like to change up nationalities to include as many as possible. If this fact did not exist you would be a possibility too. Sorry Sweden. Germany, Canada and the United States are no possibility whatsoever currently but things can change. With all of this stated it is now time to do an update! Bloody finally! But I will be doing the teams that have been removed from the list first as a recap: - The Manhattan Rage - First off, congrats on winning the last Simon T Championship. I have always liked this team and secretly quite sad I did not end up on Manhattan when I had the chance. But all is still well and you probably would not have won if you did pick Jon up lol. The Manhattan Rage are not on the list because of Luke. He was Jon Forty-One's minor league General Manager and the Vancouver Whalers won the 10th championship over the Anaheim team. Because of this situation, Jon forgave the whole organisation way before he even became a major league player. They are obviously removed for the revenge list. - The New England Wolf Pack - So ironically IF this team was on the revenge list to begin with, the really would not be on it at all because Jon Forty-One got 1(or perhaps 2 I forget) game winning goals on the Wolf Pack in his Chief seasons and last season for the Blizzard I got 2 game winning goals against the Wolf Pack for the Blizzard. Giving me 3 or 4 game winners against New England when I'd prefer them to be spread out lol. I guess Simon T version of in game Jon really hates you guys or something cause he seems to show up against you even without good TPE levels. The New Wolf England Pack however were never included on the revenge list because I did tell them not to draft me when scouting. They respected my wishes. So it would be cruel to then scream "Why didn't you draft me?!" like he is for all the others. They may not have picked him up anyway and they would have been removed naturally. But they were never on the list to begin with. - The Winnipeg Jets - The first team to be taken off the revenge list due to Game 72 in the 50th season. Jon Forty-One got a game winning goal against them and with that ended his hatred for the Jets after taking the W. This one has been stated before but they were the Part One team I removed when he got his first ever legit game winning goal against them. - The San Fran Pride - In the 238th game of Season 51 against the San Fran Pride. Jon Forty-One got his 6th goal of the season against the Pride. Because of this, they were removed from the revenge list. - The New Orlean Specters - During the play-offs 1st playing round for the Edmonton Blizzard. Jon Forty-One got 1 of the play-offs game winning goals against the New Orleans team. They did go on to beat them but a game winning goal is still good enough to get revenge on them. Congrats to them on winning but you are still claimed off the list because of the victory Edmonton got. With New Orleans added to the list of claimed in Part Three, the remaining surviving teams are as follows: - The Buffalo Stampede - The Chicago Syndicate - The Hamilton Steel Hawks - The Tampa Bay Barracudas - The Toronto North Stars - The West Kendall Platoon - The Calgary Dragons - The Los Angles Panthers - The Texas Renegades I have a lot of the other section to get but I have only just hit 1100 Total Points Earned and am on a pretty good team with fantastic people and players. So I do not think I need to panic just yet about the imbalance just yet. It will be interesting to see if I can remove another one soon in the new engine but overall I will be doing these at the end of the season because it is a little easier on me. 9 more teams remain for Jon Forty-One.
