This reality is just one of infinite realities existing alongside this one in parallel. Take us over to one of those realities in which everything is the same but these S53 playoffs have unfolded differently. What happened in that reality's playoffs and who's in the Challenge Cup over there?

In our current reality, the Edmonton Blizzard made the S53 Challenge Cup finals after sweeping the Los Angeles Panthers in 4 overtimes. An unprecedented series where it seems like all of the luck was on one side, how did this series unfold in our realities? In another reality, this series went very differently. In fact, it was the complete opposite. In this reality, the Los Angeles Panthers brought the Edmonton Blizzard to 4 straight overtimes in a sweep. But this time, Los Angeles went 4-0 and swept the Edmonton Blizzard. The offence was able to figure things out in clutch time and the Panthers were the team to face the Steelhawks. What happened in the Challenge Cup finals? Nothing changed. The Panthers fell short to give Hamilton their second cup in three seasons. Though the end result was the same, this reality flipped the script and turned the unluckiest team in the SHL into the luckiest.

With everyone getting a free redistribution this offseason, S54 is quite wide open at the moment. Before those redistributions take place, who would you anticipate being the top team(s) for next season?

With a free re-distribution this season, I think that the top teams in the league will stay relatively the same. The teams I am predicting to be the top teams in each conference are two of the teams that were top teams this past season. In the East, I'm picking Hamilton to take the conference. The team just keeps finding ways to be a top team and there is no reason to think they'll stop. The team is stacked at every position, with guys like Lagerfeld finding a second wind while young players like Johnson really stepped it up. In the West, I'm taking Los Angeles to be the top team in the conference. Even though I am biased, I feel as though LA figured out the sim very early on and kept rolling. Every player was built with specific roles in mind which means that re-distribution will impact them very little.

Which player from the Steelhawks or the Blizzard would you bet on to win a regular season individual award in a future season? What player and what award? What makes you think they'll live up to their potential and take home the hardware?

The player I think will win an award in the future is Gabriel Johnson of the Hamilton Steelhawks. I think Johnson will take home a Scott Stevens for best defensemen in the near future. Johnson has been an offensive defensemen with huge potential since he entered the SHL. Every season his numbers improve and he keeps inching closer to being a point per game player on the backend. As long as his advanced stats stay good, his offence will be enough to bring him home some hardware. This season he even had 47 points, so he's really close. As long as his advanced stats hold up, there is no reason to think he couldn't win the Stevens in the near future.

Even though the Panthers fell short this season, the LA influence has been felt around the league and execs in Hollywood are paying more attention to the SHL with the hometown team making waves. If your player could have a cameo in any tv show or movie, what show/movie would they choose? (for the purposes of this PT you may choose a show/movie that already exists just uhhh pretend they re-shoot it with your cameo or something idk).

If Oliver Cleary was cameoing on any show, he would cameo on Impractical Jokers. Cleary would be brought in for the humiliation at the end of the show. Known for having a hard slapper on the backend that helped him produce 15 goals this past season, Cleary would be tasked with shooting pucks at the losing joker. The goal would not be to hit the joker but rather to put the fear of god in him by trying to get as many pucks close to them as hard as he possibly can. Oliver Cleary, a big fan of the show, would relish in the opportunity to play a part in the fun.

a. Who is the best player in this CC finals? Plenty of good candidates: Lagerfield, Phelps, Kryyst, McIntry, Pepperoni, Scholz, etc. Who's your choice for best player and why?

I think that the best player in the finals is Flacko Lagerfield. Honestly, the biggest reason is because he was the best player on the ice all season. He led the league in scoring and did so with a huge amount of points. It is hard to argue with his production this past season.

b. Based on player ratings, EDM has the advantage in speed and acceleration and HAM has the advantage in balance and strength. Which team's physical skills will give them the edge in this series?

Hamilton's size and strength give them an advantage in this season. Though hockey is moving towards a smaller and faster game, it is hard to argue the influence size still has on an overall series. Bigger teams typically start to grind out faster teams in deeper rounds, especially when the series drags on. I think right now, Hamilton still has this advantage going into the series.

The simple answer is no, I do not like snow. I'm not a fan of skiing/snowboarding so really, snow is just a hinderance otherwise. I drive to work every morning pre-quarentine so a heavy snowfall is essentially a waste of a vacation day. That alone is enough for me to dislike it.

With new tools at our disposal in FHM, we may eventually see some new awards enter the fold. Create a suggestion for a new SHL award. What kind of achievement is the award given for? Who's the award named after? Who would've won the award this season?

Thanks to @kenvald for this suggestion; kenvald may claim 1 uncapped TPE by linking to this post.
The Gunther Gatling Award – Awarded to the player for achieving the highest Corsi For % in the regular season (min 25 games played) because they shoot so much and prevent shots against.

The Frank Selak Award – Unluckiest Player Award – Awarded to the player for achieving the lowest PDO through the regular season (min 25 games played) combining a low team on-ice shooting % and a low on-ice team save%. Likeliest player to bounce back.

Simulated Offensive Player of the Year – Awarded to the player who achieves the highest average Offensive Game Rating as generated by the simulation engine arbitrarily.

Simulated Defensive Player of the Year – Awarded to the player who achieves the highest average Defensive Game Rating as generated by the simulation engine arbitrarily.

The Goalie’s Best Friend Award – Awarded to the player who achieves the highest number of blocked shots in the regular season. One wonders if this player could actually get the puck out of the defensive zone instead of having to block shots.

Come up with a program of intermission entertainment for one of the games of the finals. What's the between-period on-ice entertainment the fans will enjoy? The goofier the better, go crazy.

2 Words – Puppy Races. Who doesn’t love doggos? After experiencing this phenomenon in real life at a Canucks game, in terms of entertainment value and crowd anticipation, puppy races dominated any other form of intermission entertainment. Each player will be able to bring their own doggo and watch them race across the ice. Yes, many of the doggos will be distracted and decide to wander around chasing random people or shiny things, but that doesn’t matter, in fact, that will enhance the entertainment factor! There will be one winner and the winner gets treats and a donation from the player to a charity of their choice. Each doggo will be given a small video intro package to be shared on the jumbotron to get audience to connect and follow them on Instagram (cause all dogs have Instagram pages now don’t they?) Forget any other intermission entertainment. DOGGO RACES.

The arenas in Edmonton and Hamilton certainly don't need any gimmicks to get people into the stadium for the series, but the arenas want to make sure they're pulling out all the stops on the big stage. Help the concessions department of one of these two teams develop a new product, with marketing specifically pertaining to this finals series, to be sold at the arena during the finals. Describe the product and the marketing in 150 words or create a promotional poster showing the product, its name, the price, etc.

In a collaboration of sorts with Dairy Queen, the Hamilton Steelhawks will start selling limited edition blizzards at their concession stands with commemorative steel spoons adorned by a Hamilton Steelhawks star. The 12oz cup will also contain a holographic picture of the player on the spoon. The players that will be utilized for this promotion will be: LW – Flacko Lagerfield, C- Aaron Wilson, RW – Robert Phelps, LD – Tig Murphy, RD – Gabriel Johnson and G – Geezus Kryyst. The blizzard flavour will be vanilla with a blue raspberry swirl with chocolate chips within to emulate the colors of the Steelhawks. Prices for each cup will be 8.25 and will be sold at each home game along with the slogan: Eat the Blizzard for Dessert! Go Steelhawks!

As a bonus for season ticket holders and customers that collect the full 6 spoon set, a commemorative spoon holder designed to hold each spoon in a line-up fashion (triangle - 3 forwards, then 2 defenceman and then goaltender) will be gifted.

c. Assemble your ideal fantasy team out of players in this series - F, F, F, D, D, G. Explain your choices.
d. Blizzard... snow... ok debate time - do you like snow? yes or no? why or why not?

a.) In a tough choice between Tony Pepperoni and Flacko Lagerfield, the top player for the Challenge Cup is Tony Pepperoni. Although Flacko Lagerfield had a regular season to remember with 71 points, Pepperoni, the highest TPE player, has had a brilliant post-season and edges out other worthy contenders for best player in Challenge Cup finals.
b.) While speed and acceleration is crucial in the modern era of the game of hockey, the grind of the post-season favors the strong and well balanced player. As bodies tire after a long season and grueling playoffs, speed and acceleration tend to drop while strength and balance become more pronounced.
c.) Flacko Lagerfield – Tony Pepperoni – Robert Phelps - Karlstraße Scholz – Gabriel Johnson– Geezus Kryyst. This line up includes the highest point getters so far this post-season, as well as the some of the highest TPEs and in my opinion one of the best names in hockey, this fantasy team is the one to beat.
d.) I prefer cold to hot, but snow gets all wet and soggy and seeps into your clothing and then makes you colder and I don’t like that. Also, the moment it snows, everyone forgets how to drive and its scary driving out there. Also I’m a Steelhawk prospect… so – SAY NO TO BLIZZARDS.

Task 1. In another alternate parallel universe the SMJHL Playoffs would be included in this point task because send downs do it too and as such I will speak on them, since they matter more to me right now. In another universe the St. Louis Scarecrows would have won game 7 of the semi-finals against the Detroit Falcons. The best player on the team all season long, would have done more than just racked up 2 minor penalties, maybe even scored a last minute game tying goal. Maybe in an alternate universe I would have scored a hat trick and we wouldn’t have been shutout against our nemesis and Detroit wouldn’t be one game away from winning the cup. However, I know as well as you all do that first you have to have adversity to truly enjoy the spoils of victory, so when our new GM leads us to a cup next year in this universe it’ll feel even better. (3 TPE)

Task 2. Even after the redistribution takes place this offseason I fully expect the Hamilton Steelhawks to stay right where they are right now, at the top of the league. Why? Because this is the best management and roster we have ever had in Hamilton. I mean just look at who won the championship in the SHL and who is going to win the championship in the SMJHL, Hamilton (duh) and Detroit (ran by Tig and nour). What I’m trying to say is that, even once everyone else gets on this page, Hamilton’s squad will be one page ahead, because you can’t pretend we have ever had people who have been so diligent and committed to figuring out how the game works and how to win. I mean we broke the sim for Christ’s sake, like a 12 year old simulator. So in summation even with redistribution and a new 1 season understanding of the sim, Hamilton will be one step ahead and everyone else will unfortunately be playing catch up. (3 TPE)

In my reality, I would have to go with Hamilton going 12-0. Having the perfect playoffs is the dream for me, I feel like stomping our way through the playoffs and showing who is the best team in the league would only be a way to have a better playoffs then we did. We went 12-3 this post-season which is great and honestly, this was really hard to write for since we won. But to have a better situation than just winning would be destroying everyone on our way to the championship. Also for opponent wise, I would might have to play a different team in the finals. We played Edmonton last time we won a championship and I would like to beat another western conference team instead. An Ideal western conference team opponent would be the New Orleans Specters. It would be great series entertainment wise and I feel the rivalry would be intense.

I would feel like Hamilton,New England, Buffalo will be the top three teams in the league next season. Manhattan could be another team that make the list of being an elite team. They just won a championship back in S52 and well, they are a talented team and I expect more out of them next season. The Eastern Conference will once again be the best conference in terms of elite teams. The west will be a battle among a lot of teams, we could see any combination of teams make the playoffs in the western conference next season. I think the top teams will be Edmonton,Calgary, and NOLA in my mind. They have been strong for years and I do not see that changing with the new season. I think the off-season could change a lot of things I think there should be a lot of more trades and free agents.

I would have to say Hugh Jazz will have a strong chance at winning some hardware in the future. The user has made two Hall of Fame players and Jazz had a bad season last year and He is going to work hard on his player to have a better season next season. He is hungry to be better and he wants to be one of the main contributors to a championship team instead of glue guy one on of the top lines in the league. He should win an MVP one day and maybe even a most improved player next season.

The Ben Waters Award- The award goes to the person who wants the award the least amount. This award is a different award than the other awards as it goes to someone who doesn't update on a regular basis, or do anything to help the league, or do anything as a general manager. This award is going to named after my good pal ben waters. I would have to say Gabe Johnson would win this award this past season as He doesn't wan to win the Ben Waters awards because he doesn't like Ben waters and he thinks he is a stinky poo poo pee pee face. He also works every hard and doesn't want to be known as someone who won the ben waters award as it is a pointless meme award that I made up for this CW as I want my tpe and I need 5 words.

Welp, you waited until the last day to grind out your CW and the CC finals are longggggggg over by now. congrats to [TEAM], woo! Reflecting back on the series, who gets your vote for series MVP? Make the case why this player deserves it over any other.

I would say Geezus Krysst is playoff MVP and series MVP. I don't think Hamilton wins this series or even the championship without him. He was a factor for the Steelhawks every game for every series this post-season. He deserves his 2nd post-season MVP and honestly he is looking like a future hall of famer and one of the best net minders all time. I would say Tuck would have a strong argument for MVP but at the end of the day, Geezus won the championship and he was the better netminder in the series. He played every game for Hamilton unlike Tuck who started the playoffs as a backup. Pepperoni again might have an argument for MVP but he didn't play all that great in the finals.

Thanks to groundbreaking technology that allows us to re-sim the playoffs with FHM, we are able to see an alternate version of the SHL playoffs! In the Eastern Conference, the New England Wolfpack would take out the Manhattan Rage in 6 games. In the other Matchup the Hamilton Steelkhawks would take out the Buffalo Stampede in 6 games as well. This would once again lead to a matchup between the Hamilton Steelhawks and the New England Wolfpack, arguably the two best teams in the league this season. Hamilton would win in 7 and go the finals. Over in the west, the LA Panthers would beat the Specters in 6 and the Edmonton Blizzard would win in 7 again against the Calgary Dragons. However this time in the Western conference finals, the LA Panthers would sneak past the Blizzard in 7 games. In the finals, Hamilton would have a convincing victory winning in 5 games. While there are some changes in the alternate reality, overall things unfolded out mostly the same.

2. Written, 3 TPE (150 words min.)
Before the redistributions take place I would expect very similar results to what we saw this season. Teams with strong builds and high TPE such as the Hamilton Steelhawks and the New England Wolfpack will mostly likely be at the top of the league barring any unexpected rebuild or sudden loss of players. Some teams may also be able to improve. However, after redistributions I think a team like the Buffalo Stampede could be at the top of the league. They have a lot of TPE and can easily fix their builds to be a top team. Over in the West you will probably see the same 4 teams make the playoffs game though the order may be different depending on how much each team grows in TPE or loses due to regression or retirement. Ultimately I think before redistributions results would be very similar but with redistributions a couple of things might shake up and some high TPE teams will have the ability to perform better.

3. Written, 2 TPE (100 words min.)
I think at some point in the future, Aaron Wilson of the Hamilton Steelhawks will win top goal scorer and potentially even Most Valuable Player. Currently Robert Phelps is the big goal scorer on the Hamilton Steelhawks however he is quickly getting hit hard by regression. I think there is a good chance Aaron Wilson steps up to fill his shoes as the team’s top goal scorer. Furthermore, Hamilton as a team has proven over the last few seasons that they work a lot with the sim engine to find the strongest attributes and tactics to ensure team success. I don’t expect this to change anytime soon and thus expect Aaron Wilson to capitalize on this.

13. Written, up to 4 TPE Pick up to 4 Challenge Cup related topics to write about! Each topic is worth 1 TPE. Each answer must be 50+ words to qualify.

a. I think Tony Perpperoni has a great case for being the top player in this series. He has a ton of TPE and has really led the offense for Edmonton during these playoffs with 20 points in 17 games! He is extremely talented and plays a strong two-way game. He would definitely be a star on any team in the league.

b. I would say balance, strength, and checking are much stronger attributes to have in FHM and thus the edge will be given to Hamilton. All of the players on Hamilton are strong in these attributes which has allowed them to shut down many top TPE teams. On the other hand Hamilton players might be some of the slowest in the league which may surprise some people, but they clearly have done their homework and know that those attributes aren’t as important.

c. At center I would take Tony Pepperoni, he has 20 points in 17 games and has been carrying Edmonton in the playoffs. I would slot in Robert Phelps and Aaron Wilson on his wings who are both strong two-way players that can score and check well. On D I would take Brady McIntryre who also has a ton of TPE and Gabriel Johnson who is a strong offensive D. In goal I would grab our lord and savior Geezus Kryyst.

14. Written, 2 TPE - The Procrastinator Special! (100 words min)
It’s tough to choose a MVP for the series but assuming Hamilton wins, I would say Geezus Kryyst should get the nod for Most Valuable Player of the Playoffs. The Hamilton team plays a very balanced team game, points are often spread around, and they don’t really rely on one superstar to score. Robert Phelps led the team in scoring with 13 points in 15 games which is impressive, but a lot of other players also contributed a lot. Kryyst on the other hand really stood out in net sporting 2 shutouts, a 0.941 save percentage, and a 1.71 GAA. While he definitely had help from the team in front of him to limit quality shots, stats like that should easily get him the MVP.

1. Alternate reality? That's easy. The New Orleans Spectres pay attention to their lines and the Los Angeles Panthers make it out of the first round of the playoffs easily. They are fresh and ready for the second round and we all know how fresh and rested players get teams to play in the playoffs. The Panthers make it to the championship and are sitting in the championship week, looking prime to take down the opponent Edmonton Blizzard. Only one issue, though. Wasty has only managed to win one championship and he is in the midst of a very long curse as a GM. The Finals start and everybody believes that the Panthers are going to win, but the ghost of OJ Simpson returns and is like an Angel in the Outfield but on ice. He singlehandedly eliminates the Los Angeles Panthers from the playoffs and the curse of OJ continues to reign over Wasty and the Los Angeles Panthers. (3 TPE 160ish words)

2. I think the top teams will remain relatively the same because I think that the Blizzard, Wolfpack, and Steelhawks will all still be near the top in TPE. The other part with this, though, is that they not only have a lot of TPE, but they all appear to understand the sim engine very well. I think with Wagstrom, the Wolfpack will have a chance to be a very elite team. He likes to grind and figure these things out, so they will be near the top. The Steelhawks obviously know how to game sim engines, so I fully expect them to be near the top once again and the Blizzard have been a mainstay at the top of the league for a long time. I think the Winnipeg Jets have a lot of TPE and could be a sleeper as a young team that is constantly improving and is racking up TPE. You look at guys like Muerto, Scruff guy, Crudelli, Bale getting called up, Brain, there is just a lot of young talent that could make a big difference. (3 TPE 180ish words)

3. If I had to pick a player from one of the teams in this to win an award in an upcoming season, I would pick Tony Pepperoni for obvious reasons. What award you ask? MVP, he is an absolute legend. As to why, just look at the player that Pepperoni is and has been. He has a lot of TPE and is a mainstay at the top of the game. He very clearly understands the sim engine and from a player perspective has a brain of a top tier player. He understands how to score, pass, and position himself. He can play up and down the ice and can pace himself well. Pepperoni comes off as a guy that will play very late into his career at a very high level. I think that out of al the great players on these teams, Pepperoni is the cream of the crop and is the most likely to win either MVP or forward of the year. (2 TPE, 164 words)

6. In game entertainment is a very interesting concept because there are so many great acts. One act that I saw at abasketball game would happen between the first and second period. It was this lady who could ride a bike and also spin plates and toss them from sticks to sticks in her hands. It made absolutely no sense and was one of the coolest things I could ever see. She was also Asian and did some like swinging from the blinds thing that happens in Circ de Solie or whatever it is. Another act I have seen is pigs walking on tightropes if I am not mistaken. This was incredible and would easily be the nominee to be the intermission between periods 2 and 3. The pigs were so fat yet they were so agile, it was a thing of beauty to see to my human eyes. Just some of the greatest acts that man king has ever had the pleasure to see. (3 TPE, 164 words

In the new reality. The Manhattan Rage is able to get past the first round and be able to cruise to the finals for the cup again. For the second round, they were able to sweep their opponents. The third round was hotly contested as the series went to all 7 games for a finish. It would see Larson put up a shutout and Alex Winters score the game-winner. In the finals, we would see Calgary vs Manhattan. Both these franchises would go all out physically and offensively. David Vent and Bernik Vrzala would be trying to lead their teams to a cup winning season. It would be a back and forth series with each team hardly losing games by one goal each. Game 7 would go to OT where the puck would land on Vents stick. He would do what he has done all season and fire it on the net. It just so happens the puck would fly past the goalie making the Rage back to back champions.

Just like everything else in S53, IIHF is going to be an exciting mystery for us all! We've seen the introduction of a new format (all 14 teams in one group) and it's bound to be a very exciting tournament. What are your predictions for IIHF this season? What team or teams do you think have the best shot at taking home the gold? How do you think your team will fare?

For IIHF I feel like it will be a very close event. Many of the top players on teams will be spread around to each country. I feel like Czechia is going to be the one winning gold though for the IIHF tournament. Czechia has some of the top earners in the entire league. The team is always so close to gold but Simon would always screw them out of ever reaching it. Now, this tournament the team is going to be one of hell of an offensive unit. With the entire defense being over 1k tpe and having some of the top defensemen in the league playing for them. The forwards are also stacked. With old members and rising stars for the Czechs. The team is looking for a gold finish this year and it really looks like they are going to be able to achieve that dream they have wanted for so long.

With everyone getting a free redistribution this offseason, S54 is quite wide open at the moment. Before those redistributions take place, who would you anticipate being the top team(s) for next season?

I feel like with the free redistribution this off-season, Season 54 is going to be the year of David Vent. The defensemen had his best year last year in offensive stats and were able to keep up his defensive stats at the same time. Vent was in the top time for shots on the net and going into next year he and the Manhattan Rage are hoping for Vent to be able to score more of those shots. That being said many of Vent's shots end up getting deflected in front by a teammate so getting assists is also a huge help for Vent. Vent is hoping to be able to win some award next year for best defensemen and still even compete for the most improved player award. Vent still has some time before old age catches up to him. With the Manhattan Rage at his side, Vent looks to be able to win the cup again for them and to be one of the top defensemen in the entire league next season and for seasons to come.

With new tools at our disposal in FHM, we may eventually see some new awards enter the fold. Create a suggestion for a new SHL award. What kind of achievement is the award given for? Who's the award named after? Who would've won the award this season?

There should be an award for the player with the most plus-minus. Plus-minus is hugely underrated by many people in the league. Whereas I see it as a good indicator of a good person. If a player is on the ice when the team's scores that's a great sign that they should be on the ice more. They are helping their team a lot by making sure the opposing teams aren't scoring against them and being there for their team offensively. Some of the best players in the league have a good plus-minus. With the switch to FHM, we are going to be able to see who are the best players to have on the ice for both offense and defense. In STHS there was a lot of randomness and luck that went into games. There was never a sure way to tell if plus-minus was actually a good stack to track.

a. Who is the best player in this CC finals? Plenty of good candidates: Lagerfield, Phelps, Kryyst, McIntry, Pepperoni, Scholz, etc. Who's your choice for best player and why?
b. Based on player ratings, EDM has the advantage in speed and acceleration and HAM has the advantage in balance and strength. Which team's physical skills will give them the edge in this series?
c. Assemble your ideal fantasy team out of players in this series - F, F, F, D, D, G. Explain your choices.
d. Blizzard... snow... ok debate time - do you like snow? yes or no? why or why not?

D: Snow is a very lovely thing to be in. Snow is very refreshing and it makes everything so much prettier. Snow is fun to mess around in with riding sleds and throwing snowballs. If you ever get hot you can just go chill in the snow. If you get too cold, you can just go inside and warm up. It's the best weather there is.

It was hard for me to pick what one I wanted or even how I wanted to go about it. So I decided to do New Orleans vs New England because the Wolfpack had a fantastic season and I feel like if Hamilton didn't make it, they would have out of the east. In the case of New Orleans, I feel like without the fuckery that was "3rd line with no C" they would have ended up getting by the LA Panthers and who knows from there, Cain as a goalie has a tendency to do well and having only 1 goalie might help them past Edmonton, a team running the switch between Tuck and Emiko. I do see the series going 7, this time Joe can rest his soul as Johannes Leitner falters for the Wolfpack and the Specters take it in overtime. That breaks the game 7 curse for the Specters too.

With everyone getting a free redistribution this offseason, S54 is quite wide open at the moment. Before those redistributions take place, who would you anticipate being the top team(s) for next season?

For this, I need to break it down starting with.
New England, the Wolfpack had been howling for a while about how deep their roster is and after last season's debacle of missing the playoffs to a Toronto team that had a magical season, they have emerged. With the addition of Big Ben Blue in net I only see this top team getting better.

Hamilton, the first Challenge Cup champions in the FHM era deserve a spot on this list. In spite of the fact that this team has long been hated they have had a strong roster since the mid S40s and have shaken all the doubters with this cup. Look for them to Challenge the wolfpack for 1st in the east like they did in S53.

Edmonton, the Blizzard when all the way to the finals with a roster that is built for the playoffs. Top end scoring, proven solid defence, and star goaltender Tommy Tuck backing them in...who is retiring, so the Blizz went and picked out another top goaltender in Emiko Specter and she is proving fantastic spitting the starts here in both the season and playoffs.

New Orleans, not many are going to like this one, and it is true that of the four picks they seem the weakest but the specters have always had a top end forward core, bringing in Oliver Cloutier gives them that boost. The defence might be a bit shaky but having Aleistar Cain in net should help to keep them confidant.

In an attempt to put all of the fixings on the first Challenge Cup of the FHM era, and to combat their provincial rival, the Edmonton Blizzard are debuting their own official team food. Championship "Chilly" Cheese Fries. That's right, but don't let the name fool you, these delectable Kennebec fries are smothered in a hearty chili made locally in Edmonton. Covered in the best cheese made from Albertan cows milk, this meal will have you ready to capture that Challenge Cup like all of your Blizzard heroes. $8.99 for this massive bowl is sure to get people buying it up. It also helps when team and playoff scoring leader Tony Pepperoni has been known to consume three bowls before each game. With 20 points in 15 games leading up to the Challenge Cup finals the Blizzard have come up with a clever slogan. You can Eat like a Champion.

a. Tony Pepperoni gets my nod. Guy had a fantastic regular season with 57 points in 50 games while posting over 100 hits, in the playoffs he leads all players with 20 points proving that he can turn it on when it matters most. Look for this guy to make waves each year.

b. Each team has their strengths and can out work each other provided they play to their game on any given night. Hamilton has a strong, physical game that can wear you down in the playoffs. With everyone having an extra gear its not that wild to think of them wining by slowing the game down. Edmonton meanwhile is quite up tempo and will be looking to win the footraces. Its a tale as old as time, size vs speed.

c. F,F,F,D,D,G Kill Me Flacko Lagerfield has to be one of the forwards. Top scoring player in the regular season with 71 points. Tony Pepperoni is more than solid as a high end scorer as well. Robert Phelps rounds out my forwards as a veteran guy who can get the job done. Each forward is positionally sound at each different forward spot as Flacko is a LW, Rob is an RW, and Peps is a true C. On defence I wanted to find someone solid so I grabbed Karlstrase Scholz (The modified B looking letter in his name is pronounced as an s) Complete defenceman41 solid points, a high takeaway to giveaway ratio, physical, and can eat big minutes. Next, with positioning mattering I needed a d man for the right side and had to take young Gabriel Johnson whos 47 points make him look lethal on the power play while being solid defensively. Goalies are always controversial but I like to keep the one from the same team as your defence, so I went with the younger Emiko Spector over Kryyst. Whilst she didn't have as many starts this season her numbers were studly and I think they wouldn't drop farther with more starts. Moreover the communication with the defence is a huge deal.

d. Snow, some love, some hate, no idea how everyone on site feels but for me, I love it and here is why. The calm, serene quietness of the world when there is a small blanket of white snow everywhere is beautiful. No birds, if its cold enough no water, barely even makes a sound when you step in it. Life just feels like it slows down and relaxes, the slate clears and all.

In an alternate reality, after a cheating scandal that rivaled the New England Patriots, the Hamilton Steelhawks were gutted with punishments and the forceful removal of their GM staff. Sadly, the few good players they had were forced to demand a trade and that polarized the entire league. The Eastern Finals ended up being the West Kendall Platoon versus the Toronto North Stars, the West was the San Francisco Pride versus the Los Angeles Panthers, with the Panthers and Platoon meeting in an exciting Finals that showed the Panthers coming out on top in six games, with 3 overtime games altogether. Other surprises was Buffalo missing the playoffs due to lack of goaltending, and the Tampa Bay Barracuda making the final Eastern spot, and the Wolfpack's dry spell continuing as they once again missed out on postseason action for the 4th season in a row!

With redistribution and/or re-coaching as something coming up, we've seen many builds that are more successful than others after the first season on FHM6. Teams like New England, Buffalo, New Orleans, and Edmonton should likely remain top feeder teams, while teams like Manhattan, Hamilton, and San Francisco will likely be in the hunt. As for the bottom teams, it will be interesting to see who changes builds and focuses on more of an offensive, defensive, or balanced approach to the next season into next season. I fully expect a team like Chicago will likely not make it in, where a team like West Kendall will surprise the East sneaking into the playoffs. As for the west, New Orleans will shock the SHL by failing to reach the playoffs, and Calgary will barely make it in as teams figure them out and change their strategies to combat their strengths.

Which player from the Steelhawks or the Blizzard would you bet on to win a regular season individual award in a future season? What player and what award? What makes you think they'll live up to their potential and take home the hardware?

Tony Pepperoni seems to me like the obvious choice to go for an individual award. He had an amazing offensive season and still averaged over 2 hits per game as a center. His ability on both sides of the puck has been impressive to watch, and with an offensive grade of 80, he has one of the highest abilities in that regard of the entire league. As the Blizzard improve as a favorite to reach the Finals once again, Tony Pepperoni will likely be a major factor in that, and likely can reach a individual award, as likely see a challenge cup in the near future.

d. Blizzard... snow... ok debate time - do you like snow? yes or no? why or why not?

a. Tony Pepperoni is the best player by far. He embodies the mindset of the team and really focuses on a great two-way game. He can play a front or supporting role and can really change the direction of any game or series by himself. It's really no surprise to see him in this category.

b. In theory, Speed and Acceleration should outweigh strength, as Hamilton doesn't hit and shies away from any type of physical contact with their builds, the faster Edmonton team should overtake the non-aggressive Hamilton players easily enough. It does seem odd that every Hamilton player basically has the same build, but whatever.

c. Tony Pepperoni, James Troung, Dale Miller, Jax Duggan, FR Finn-Rhys, and Tommy Tuck make up the best team of the two put together in my opinion. Finn-Rhys and Duggan play a great defensive game, Miller is a sleeper pick, and Troung and Pepperoni have the best two-way game of both teams that would embody the best line-up.

d. I fucking love snow. To be honest, it would suck if I didn't since I personally live in the New England area of the states, but I would much, MUCH, rather a cold temperature over a hot one. I can put more layers on, and I can only remove so many.

Welp, you waited until the last day to grind out your CW and the CC finals are longggggggg over by now. congrats to [TEAM], woo! Reflecting back on the series, who gets your vote for series MVP? Make the case why this player deserves it over any other.

I'm not sure anyone deserves the MVP of this series. It seem pretty open, and with every player on the winning Hamilton team basically having the same build, the level of collusion is a bit on the shady side. Meanwhile, though Edmonton held their own, they weren't up to snuff to beat the Steelchickens team. This might be the first season a playoff MVP isn't chosen, or could be from the team that didn't win the cup. I personally hope so, it would show some parity in the league and also prove a point for teams to follow the rules and let a game remain a game and not have to ruin it for people.

I think the most likely player is Gabriel Johnson, and the most likely award is the Scott Stevens Trophy. My reasoning is that he’s a high earner in his draft class and finished second in scoring this season behind only Poopity Scoop among d-men, with a tpe of around 1300. Pump those numbers up and I think he’s got a couple of dominant seasons in him, at least statistically. Plus, Hamilton is a team that wins a lot and has a good front office; Johnson will have plenty of opportunities to prove himself at a high level of play. I doubt he ever wins the Bojo Biscuit trophy though… ■

I think it’s going to play out largely as you would imagine, and I think that’s going to be a problem to some people. It seems to me that FHM rewards the best teams in a way that STHS never did; if you have more tpe (and therefore higher attributes), you can generally expect to have that reflected in your record.
For that reason, I’m expecting the major nations to do well. Canada and the USA are my top candidates to win the tournament, and I can see countries like Czechia and GB finish within reach as well.

Since my country is Canada, I’m excited about our chances to place high in the tournament, and I’ve seen screenshots of the results of our fed head’s super scientific 100% accurate results from simming, where we pretty much win every game. How could that possibly go wrong? Would a fed head really get his nations hopes up only to dash them in his last season? ■

Come up with a program of intermission entertainment for one of the games of the finals. What's the between-period on-ice entertainment the fans will enjoy? The goofier the better, go crazy.

I think players these days are too pampered, with their twenty minutes of intermission rest. As soon as the buzzer sounds, give the players two minutes to use the bathroom and get into costume, then parade them out onto the ice to entertain the fans. You can have the goalies sitting on a plank above some shark-infested water like those hit the target dunk the person games. Some players, dressed as Mardi Gras celebrators, will march around arena waving batons and playing instruments (poorly). The Coaches and Management can juggle some circus balls, and each team will have a wild animal that does tricks on the ice, the type of animal dependant on the mascot for the team. For example, the Steelhawks would have a formation of hawks in the rafters. The Barracuda would have a bunch of fish jumping from one pool to another, splashing the baying crowd. The Jets would have an F-18 flying from one end of the ice to the other, deafening the crowd. Of course, all these would be massively illegal, but that’s for the bean counters in corporate and the team of lawyers on retainer to worry about. We’re interested in entertainment in the SHL, not regulations. ■

That one's easy: season 2 of The Mandalorian. I can think of a few roles right now that would suit Adam: a guard that's meant to keep people out of a room but can't defend to save his life; a stormtrooper that misses every single shot he takes; a bounty hunter that gets yelled at constantly by Bill Burr's character; a Mandalorian that takes off in a jet pack and immediately crashes down into the ground head first. You get the idea. I’m a pretty big Star Wars fan, so just being in any piece of Star Wars media would be a dream come true. Hell, even a nameless character in the background of a scene, or an alien in full prosthetics. ■

a. It’s easy to go with the person that has the most fleshed out skillset, meaning someone like Tony Pepperoni. But I think I’ll go instead with the man with the most experience: Robert Phelps. Not only has he been around for a long time, but he just came off a fantastic season with the Steelhawks, finishing behind only Lagerfield and Wagstrom in scoring.

c. At forward, I'd put together a line of Pepperoni, Wilson, Phelps. You have the pure skill of Tony Pepperoni, the cerebral puck movement talent of Aaron Wilson, and the wily veteran experience of Robert Phelps. At defense, I think I'd take Johnson and Finn-Rhys. Gabriel can be the offensive-minded, always pinching defender while FR stays back and makes sure to mop up any breakthroughs if the play turns the other way. At goalie, Geezus Kryyst... because, with all due respect to Tommy Tuck, I think Kryyst is the better goalie.

d. I have plenty of experience in snow, having lived my entire life in Canada. I can say with full confidence that snow is fine… in small enough doses. That is, I don’t mind it when it’s new and a fresh change of pace, or when it’s there for appropriate holidays like Christmas and New Years. But during the spring it gets to the point where I’m just sick of it, and we always seem to have a couple of snowfalls creeping into the summer which are just depressing. ■

What happened in that reality's playoffs and who's in the Challenge Cup

My favorite reality is the one where everything actually happened the exact same except when came time for the Challenge cup final. A strange accident involving an 18-wheeler, a clown and a ferret led to the Blizzard being dangerously low on Wingers and they had no choice but to use a very little known rule to call up Carlos Brown from the Juniors, Brown, although not a great player, took the challenge head on and went for it. The finals actually went better for Edmonton in that weird reality. It was like Brown had been waiting for this moment ihis entire life, he played better than ever before and scored 8 goals through 5 games in the finals and led the Blizzard to victory. In his honor, they even let him raise the cup first even though he'd never played a game in the Blizzard's uniform before this final series. Then, I woke up. Not even in an alternate universe could this happen.

would you anticipate being the top team(s) for next season?
Before or after the redistribution, Edmonton is gonna be on top next season no matter what. With their young core and their crop of junior players all looking great, the coming years are bright for Edmonton, already one of the most successful franchises in the entire league. Despite their success I'm convinced the team is still gonna want to make some changes, notably to rework their defense maybe a little and make sure to cover the few flaws in their otherwise perfect game plan. Toronto is also due to get better, will they be one of the top teams? Hard to say, but they certainly can't get any worse. They had a long season to look at everything they did wrong and now hopefully they can work on fixing some of these issues. At the end of the day though, I think the league is gonna look a lot like it did this season, I don't expect many upsets, but then again that's the point of them.

Perhaps an easy answer but as far as straight up pointscoring, Flacko Lagerfield would probably be the answer, with a season like he's had there's no denying he's due for some award at some point in his career. He plays for a high-profile team and he plays great so if I had to put a name in the hat, he's who I'd go for. That being said, I find it ludicrous I haven't been able to put myself in the answer to this question so I'm gonna say a young player like Carlos Brown with Edmonton is probably gonna end up getting named rookie of the year whenever he makes the jump.

So who knows who's gonna win, the whole thing's a sham. If Canada can't easily grab victory in an international hockey tournament then something is seriously wrong with that tournament and it should be cancelled. That having been said I guess I'll throw my two cents in, and still give it to Canada. Why? Because I'm a believer. Maybe we don't have the greatest team, maybe we are full of ourselves and think that the entire world of hockey revolves around us. Maybe we are as bad as everyone says we are. Lets use our imagination a bit here. Lets say that Toronto was able to skate into the playoffs rocking a 25 win season, defying everyone's expectations and test sims. ML and Ursin have somehow figured out how to make their low TPE team keep the shots against down and, while not shooting much, they made their shots count. The SHL is stunned by their entrance. Tampa Bay, West Kendall, and Chicago are livid at their ranking and the rest of the league is watching this Cinderella story unfold. Toronto comes into round 1 and eeks out a win in 7 games. They then take round 2 in 5. Is it possible? Could it be that Toronto is going to defy all odds and actually have a shot at this thing? They start the series with a 2-1 record and may just be able to make it happen. But out of nowhere Texas comes back (see what I did there?) and takes the cup in 6 by an amazing shot by the least likely player of all. The one and only Slowpoke.

While I think there will be some shakeups due to the learning process all teams went through, I don't think the redistribution is going to be a major factor in the standings. As teams are getting older and retirement and regression will hit everyone to some extent. But lets not kid ourselves, The Steelhawks have been showing strong for a few seasons now and the Wolfpack and the Panthers will also be putting up a strong showing throughout. From the Texas side we are definitely growing as a young team, making some great moves, and will surely be reworking our builds and lines to try to pick up the pace. I fully expect Texas to rise through the ranks and will be more of a threat than last season and will continue to grow throughout. I also believe the change for stamina is going to help a ton as that is something that really hurt the low TPE players and will hopefully make it easier to move things up.

For Hamilton we'll have to go with a pork based concession product for sure. I'm going to say it'll be an all pork hot dog (beef is for losers) wrapped in bacon and baked in pig fat. Once cooked, it'll be chopped up and topped with the smoked ham and pork butt for all you can stand pork dish. But rather than serving on a hot dog bun, it can be served on some fried spicy pork rinds and served in a bbq sauce lathered hockey helmet with no fork or napkin. Fans must eat it with their hands although it is big enough to share between 3 people we aren't worried about no stinking germs. It's a hockey game. Think of the KFC double down type of meat centric food but Hamilton's PR team will take it to a new level and show that this is really what's been giving the players the edge the past few seasons. Advertisements will show Flacko Lagerfield covered in BBQ sauce as he devours a helmet of pork in the locker room between periods. Tig Murphy and Aaron Wilson are slightly more health conscious and share a helmet, but do so feeding each other wedding cake style. Those things will fly off the shelves!

B. Balance and strength are huge stats in FHM. I believe they were undervalued early on but as the season went on and you start looking at the top performing players you realize that these two stats really do give an edge. While speed and acceleration definitely have their place on the ice, being able to withstand hits and keep puck control is crucial and those turnovers can make a game for you.

D. Snow sucks. It was great when you are a kid and get days off and can go play in the snow, sled, and have snowball fights, but as an adult it's just an annoyance. You still gotta work and now you also have to shovel the walkway, dig the cars out, and put salt everywhere so you don't die. Snow really is the worst and anyone that likes it must be brain damaged from a prior slip down the stairs.

This reality is just one of infinite realities existing alongside this one in parallel. Take us over to one of those realities in which everything is the same but these S53 playoffs have unfolded differently. What happened in that reality's playoffs and who's in the Challenge Cup over there?
In my alternate reality the Dragons get by Edmonton and continue to keep their playoff stranglehold over the Blizzard. Then they would get to face the LA Panthers. There has been a sort of backburner rivalry with the Panthers with GM Wasty repeatedly taking Calgary to task in his Life on Autopilot shows although he and Otis B Driftwood have developed a respect based on their mutual love of music. In the finals Calgary would want to play the Rage, the defending champs. It's always best to dethrone the champions to win the next years title and that would make the icing on the cake of a Dragons cup. On a more personal note goaltender Vilde would somehow replicate his masterful season 50 playoff run where he caught fire and went 12 and 4. It was a disappointing first  FHM season for Vilde and a hot playoff run would cure those regular season blues.

With everyone getting a free redistribution this offseason, S54 is quite wide open at the moment. Before those redistributions take place, who would you anticipate being the top team(s) for next season?
I think with FHM the highest TPE teams will once again be on top. I don't think we'll see the rebuilding teams get lucky like in STHS and sneak into a playoff spot. In the West I would expect the top 4 to be the same with Calgary moving up slightly as their GMs get the hang of the new sim. LA may struggle to repeat their success but should remain a top 4 team. I expect the Blizzard to be in there as well as they're always solid and I think the Spectres will be right at the top with the highest TPE goalie in Cain. In the East New England will stay on top since they have the highest TPE team from what I understand. I would have had Buffalo falling until they traded for netminder Blue so they should remain top 4. Hamilton will stay in and I think the rage and the Syndicate will battle it out for the last spot.

Which player from the Steelhawks or the Blizzard would you bet on to win a regular season individual award in a future season? What player and what award? What makes you think they'll live up to their potential and take home the hardware?
I think the Edmonton Blizzard have an absolute stud in Tony Pepperoni. This past season he had 24 goals and 33 assists for 57 points. He had 212 shots and 108 hits as well as 51 PIMs. That's just all around stud level. I think he may even win an award this season but I see him being a strong contender for the regular season and also playoff MVP as he's the type of player that can put a team on his back and carry them for quite awhile. He should keep Edmonton around the top of the Western conference standiings and I can see him having a playoff series very similar to Mike Izzy's S50 run for the Dragons where he was the playoff MVP winner.

Come up with a program of intermission entertainment for one of the games of the finals. What's the between-period on-ice entertainment the fans will enjoy? The goofier the better, go crazy.
Well knowing how I think of course there would have to be a charity wrestling match for an intermission show. They could have a ring set up so they could just roll it onto the ice. I think we need to bring in a celebrity for it as well so I'd contact the WWE and ask if Hornswoggle was available. I think it would be hilarious to see Hornswoggle wrestle Esa Parmborg of the Dragons. One dollar of every ticket sold would go to the charity of the winning team's choice. I think there would have to be some friendly wagering between the players as well  on like how long the match would last, how long would it take for parmborg to catch Hornswoggle, could Hornswoggle actually take Parmborg off his feet and things like that. The proceeds of those wagers could also get added to the charity pot giving the players of both teams a chance to contribute as well. Maybe we could also have one player for each team arm wrestle each other to see who would  be special guest referee for the bout. I think the kids in the audience would absolutely love this and we could raise money for a good cause.

Again knowing how I am Kata Vilde would love to do a cameo on Monday Night Raw. It would have to be a mid card match since it wouldn't be prudent for the WWE to have Vilde mess up a big time match. He could get involved in one of the feuds going on like say between Otis and Dolph Ziggler. Vilde is not a huge Ziggler fan so he'd wait until Ziggler had the advantage and then come racing in and attack him from the rear. A couple blows, a clothesline or two then up to the top for his father Randy savage's signature flying elbow, then rolling Otis over on top of Ziggler and racing back out. That would be so much fun to do.

1. (3 TPE) In the endless number of realities that might exist there is one where the true chaos of the SHL can be realized. First, we have to establish what is chaos for this situation. Los Angeles hasn't won a cup in like 30 seasons so just cause they are a good team doesn't eliminate them from moving on, so LAP wins in the first round vs NOLA. Next up, honestly Edmonton beating Calgary is chaos enough for me, especially in 7 game,s so that also stays the same. Now the fun begins, as Manhattan quits underperforming and beats the President's Cup winning Wolfpack in 5 games. The Rage struggled in the regular season, but have the ability to upset even a great team. Finally, the Stampede beats the Steelhawks in 6 games. So next round LAP beats Edmonton to reach their first finals in over ten seasons. Buffalo beats the Rage in 6 games as is normal. And finally the the Panthers end drought and win a cup. And Toronto wins the lottery.

2. (3 TPE) For FHM, TPE is still a big factor in general for how good a team can do, but obviously everyone is going to be learning the important attributes heading into next season. My guess would be New England holding on to the top spot in the regular season as they still have a ton of overall TPE, along with two of the best players at their positions in the league with Wagstrom and Kirkby. Next, I expect Hamilton to still be a good team, tho their key forwards are really starting to get deep in regression. I expect LA to build on last season and really contend for a cup. I also expect SFP to perform much better next season and compete for the Western conference. I'm also expecting a much better season next season from Manhattan, as they underperformed last season just barely making the playoffs. They have a much better team than most and another offseason of testing and reflection can go a long way.

3. (2 TPE) I think that Tig Murphy for the Hamilton Steelhawks will win the Scott Stevens Award for best Defenseman in the league. Tig is playing on a good team, that has a great coaching staff to get the most out of him for the next few seasons before regression really starts to take hold are eat away at his ability. He's been a big TPE earner his whole career and he's a great person away from the ice. I really hope he gets the recognition he deserves in the next few seasons after many disappointing ones before. It's too bad he's stuck on a team with such a bum like Gabriel Johnson.

5. (3 TPE) With TPE mattering more now with FHM, I imagine the best teams will be looking more dominant than ever before. The likes of Canada and the USA are going to be great in the the round robin part of the tournament as the larger sample size will offer them more chances to play well, but the medal rounds are going to be interesting. The one game knockouts offer smaller teams with good tactics the chance to have that one good game that can keep them in the tournament. If I had to pick favorites for gold it'd be Canada, USA, Czechia, and Austria. These teams all have a lot of high-end players that can help dominate a game. If I picked a smaller nation to have a chance to a run it'd be Germany. I play for Norway, and we could surprise teams as we have a great coach and we could upset some teams.

7. (2 TPE) After proving to be worth his 72nd ov selection, the phone has been ringing off the hook for Axel Meszaros. And by that I mean it's been a lot of begging studios to give Axel a role in literally anything. Most haven't been very open-minded about giving him a shot. Most actually don't know who he is, so we've resorted to some less normal ways to get on a TV show. So Axel applied for American Ninja Warrior, which obviously is strange considering he isn't American, and has managed to get to the TV shoot portion of the show let's see how he did:

Yeah that's about what we all expected.

A new award I would like to see is the best defensive forward. The Jeff Dar award is more about the best two-way forward which is really good forward and defense, and the best defensive forward would be that someone who doesnt necessarily have to do a lot offensively, but they shutdown everyone in their path. The award will be something that will be a good team, great advanced stats, and something that will be kinda hard to vote, but something that would be important. I would have Dick Clapper win the award this season, even though offensivly is great. I would nominate Aron Hernadivic and Vorian Atreides. I would name it after Brandon Donini, who have 4 jeff dar noms that combines with 2 jeff dar winners. I think he is someone that isnt as appreciated defensivly but he is someone that would fit well as a defensive forward at that time.

d. Blizzard... snow... ok debate time - do you like snow? yes or no? why or why not?

a. The best player in the CC finals is Pepperoni because he is one of the best players in Edmonton at the moment. He is someone that can turn the game around with some great plays and some goals. He is always someone that can make some of the plays that most players cant make, so therefore is the X factor for Edmonton.

b. I think Hamiltons balance and strength and lower tolerance to PIMs will take the advantage over Edmonton. they have a better overall rating and balance, where edmonton had the better speed and tempo. But for Hamilton all they need is to contain that and turn the tide if they can contain that speed from Edmonton.

c. What i would have is Tony Pepproni - Robert Phelps - Flacko Lagerfield as the forward core. Pepperoni because he is one of the best players in the world right now. Phelps is one of the best players in the SHL for a long time, and Langerfield because he is great as well. Then Brady MacIntyre and Gabriel Johnson and Geezus Kryyst.

d. I like snow to a point. Like a light drizzling that you can shape some snow and if you have kids or whatever, then yeah sure i like snow. but if its a blizzard and downfall thats like 12 feet tall or whatever then its the worst thing in the world because you gotta shovel it out and it gets everywhere.

Welp, you waited until the last day to grind out your CW and the CC finals are longggggggg over by now. congrats to [TEAM], woo! Reflecting back on the series, who gets your vote for series MVP? Make the case why this player deserves it over any other.

So congrats Hamilton for winning the champion cup, woo woo. The person who gets my vote for series MVP is actually Tommy Pepperoni because how dominant he was in the playoffs and the series. He is one of the reasons why Edmonton stayed in it so long. He scored a bunch of goals and asissts so that they could be there. Other than that you it would be Geezus Kryyst because he was a dominant goalies in that series, getting an shutout in the process. He was great in the crease for hamilton and was one of the key pieces on why they were so sucessful in that series.
