I'm still on good terms with HO, they understand where people would criticize this decision, and I've congratulated Jearim personally and consider him to be more than capable at succeeding with his new team.

I dislike that it can be hard to break into the league as a first gen. It's understandable but also frustrating at times. I didn't consider myself one of the top 2 applicants after apps closed and I saw what I was up against, and I'm not bothered by not getting the spot.

A little over a year ago, I created as a first gen for the S47 draft. I am now an SMJHL GM, SHL Commish, and whatever other things people want to call me. Keep your head up and work, you will get it one day. Being upset is understandable, but voicing frustration by aiming it at another user is not good. I'm glad you talked to Jearim and moved on. I cannot stress this enough, this time around the apps were amazing. We discussed every in and out and asked individualized questions to fill in blanks. The quality of applications in the last 5 seasons have skyrocketed which is amazing. Every applicant has amazing potential in this league.
