I guess leading the entire league in takeaways, leading all forwards in DGR, putting up 45 blocks, and career best offensive numbers aren’t enough for top defensive forward or most underrated player because NoT eNoUgH HiTs looooool

Last year, HO made the call that whoever wins the tiebreaker for the top seed gets the Laurifer, but everyone on either tied team can claim the TPE. That's why the Laurifer wasn't split three ways last year, and Detroit got it!

Also speaking of ties, both Wagner and Minamino scored 53 points with Minamino scoring more goals. This same scenario happened in S47 with Kholin and Cannellini, although the scoring title/award went to Kholin only. Is it a matter of changing precedence in this case?

That's why the Laurifer wasn't split three ways last year, and Detroit got it! I didn't know that happened with the scoring title--that was still during the dark days where the committee didn't get to know winners til the public did, so none of that decision making was shared with me as a committee member, nor final votes at all. I've tried to be much more transparent during my tenure. I guess it's a change in precedence (as it hasn't happened in the last however many seasons I've been head!)

So thats not a factor. Because two guys playing 100% the same game but with dufferent roles assigned could see large differences in GR. And if we're going by just Tka's I know a guy who had a +21 Tka/Gva ratio. Because yes, Johansson had the most takeaways. But he was also 4th forward in the league for most giveaways. |
