Thoughts on the Wagstrom Curse?

To add some history to this:

Wagstrom left Winnipeg after they had just gone to a cup final, Winnipeg has not won a playoff round since.

Wagstrom would go to a cup final in her first year with NEW, they were swept in that cup final and despite having one of the best teams in the league on paper, NEW would not make the playoffs again for 3 more seasons.

S53 NEW dominates the regular season and ties the record for most points in a season but goes down unceremoniously to Hamilton in 5 games.

Having a relatively unchanged team in S54, NEW fails to make the playoffs which causes an exodus of players, including Wagstrom. Much like Winnipeg, New England was hit hard after Wagstrom left. They end up losing both their GMs, albeit in very different ways.

Finally, Wagstrom suits up for the Rage, who have the best regular season in franchise history. They come up against Hamilton and are dealt a blow when Wagstrom is suspended games 2-5. Somehow, the Rage are up 3-2 in the series with Wagstrom slated to come back for game 6. They proceed to go scoreless in the last 2 games with Wagstrom back and once again fall to the Steelhawks.
