Colorado Raptors S56 Captains

Colorado has an amazing roster that is full of players who display their leadership whether it's on the ice or in the locker room. So it is no surprise that several players garnered votes.

While we did lose a trio of great leaders for this team (Sven Svenson, Carlos Brown, Bradley Barkov), these following players we believe will step up to fill those positions.
First wanted to quickly recognize two players who the players clearly view as leaders and have gained a lot of respect in the locker room:

Mack Daddy (@Mack) - Mack Daddy was a very underrated player for the Raptors. He put up 28 points while being a very responsible player on the ice. Mack in the LR was a voice of reason and always kept a cool head.

Rock Strongo (@Leafs4ever) - Strongo just won Rookie of the year by producing 14 goals 18 assists for 32 points last season. Leafs is also a longstanding user on the site and one of the Owners. A fine candidate for the leadership team in Colorado going forward.

Alternate Captains
First we have Juni Panda (@juniped). Juni Panda is a great guy in the locker room. Always chimes in and willing to BS with the gang. On the ice Panda refers to himself as "The Protector". He is willing to defend all of the players on this team with his fists and big hits. Panda is also willing to take on many roles on the ice which shows he is willing to do what it takes. A great sign of a leader.

Next we have Gudmundur Kristjansson (@Fluw). Kristjansson is another player that is very responsible on the ice. This playmaker is very defensive oriented but is still highly skilled offensively. In the LR, he is always willing to help out. He has created several helpful spreadsheets for the team. And even during his Wedding weekend, he still wanted to drop a couple lines of support here and there. What a dedicated guy. (I still have to send a gift)

Captain
And finally, we are excited to announce that Jean-Uhtred Ragnarsson-Tremblay aka JURT (@lespoils) will be returning as the S56 Captain. JURT did an amazing job last year. It shows what kind of player he is when he was nominated for the Brandon Holmes Trophy as the top defensive forward. JURT is willing to do the hard work for the team. He is also another very dedicated guy in the LR. Another great guy to help out anyone that asks for assistance or that has a question at all. He puts in alot of effort for the better of the team. A great Captain to lead the Raptors this season.

With the roster that Colorado has and the leadership team in place, the Raptors have high hopes this year. We look forward to the getting on the ice and playing some hockey.
