Ah yes... I see... So I have a question 3...
How many shots are we taking pre-draft? (Juke) How many times are we going to ham squirm and panic, during the draft? (both of you) Who was the better GM between JNH and I (both of you, but if you choose wrong, I will be upset.)
Nhamlet

Assuming it involves whipped cream and maple syrup. 11-16-2020, 02:37 PMbdu754 Wrote: hey ham longtime fan first time caller Hey thanks beeg, thanks for always tuning in. Okay uhm, is it a stuffed animal or? 11-16-2020, 02:39 PMroastpuff Wrote: What are your re-branding plans for the Newfoundland Berserkers? Under top secret wraps, but let's say it's-a gonna be-a great-a. Or not. And I did reach out to Jake from Statefarm first but unfortunately they are in high demand and I had to settle for what I could given my sudden surprise and decision to make a choice on the spot. 11-16-2020, 02:48 PMRangerjase Wrote: If you had to do a S53 redraft as SMJHL GM, who would you pick? That's a tough one because there's probably some context that needs to be filled in to make a decision. If I was the NL GM then? Or if I had to reorder the draft class? Probably if I'm NL GM at the time I probably wouldn't make any changes to who they ended up picking, maybe minus a few busts here and there. For example 4OA: Steve Harrington (keep) 17OA: Juke Timonen (controversial, but keep) 33OA: Ryan Aaron (when Sven Svenson is on the board right after, that's a shame) 37OA: Patric Twist (Probably some other later picks earned more than this guy but wouldn't want to miss out on my RL master, keep) 47OA: Magnus "The Ogre" Orrsen (who? Rikkard Hammarberg on the board right after too, what are the chances) 50OA: Vince Chalut (promising career but his legacy is one that lasts longer than his TPE gain, keep) 52OA: Andrei Kostitsyn (many talk about steals such as Ethan Duncan and whatnot, but this is the true steal of the draft) 56OA: Ryuuji Minamino (Not much to say about this other than it's hard to kind of imagine the "what if's" when all 10 teams at the time passed over you repeatedly but it's been a match made in heaven) 11-16-2020, 02:53 PMWally Wrote: - Who is going to be protector of my blackhawks shirt now? Cause Corey was terrible.- I have no idea where your shirt is already. I'm positive it's something that's already lost in the transition and at this point, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - Depends, my protein powder usually takes more just to break up all the clumps and have a smoother taste but each to their own and depends on the product I guess. 11-16-2020, 03:00 PMJAJA SWEG DINGDONG Wrote: Where is brother? I though Andrei found him already, but we'll need more confirmation from the Clean man himself. I direct all questions about the Newfoundland family lineage to our residential emoji master and ancestry.com personified, @Lime :turle Last I checked, Ty has been sad 1734 times in the LR. My plans include purging the place with HappyLight in hopes that it will fix it, if not more drastic measures such as beatings will be considered until morale improves. Clean is born from sim hockey, anime is too big to be contained in sim hockey. 11-16-2020, 03:04 PMJNH Wrote: For Juke: How do you plan to live up to Corey’s legacy of being drunk for drafts? (see: S53) Either I'm just going to incesteously trade picks with a team back and forth to beat that record on a technicality or do nothing at all, there is no inbetween or alternatives. We win? We won. but also We win 11-16-2020, 03:20 PMPatty Wrote: I won the Co election! Defense because they're the ones that go on breakaways all the time. Lineups is a good question, we'll have to talk about that since we're both fairly FHM heavy people and now it's more of a dialogue between us than it was between us and Corey. Pod when indeed @juke 11-16-2020, 04:19 PMSopath Wrote: Top 1 thing about Bas O'Bigbers !bas But also you gonna be a big name 11-16-2020, 06:37 PMKlusteR Wrote: What is one area where you would like to make your mark as General Managers? It might be impossible but I want to somehow have as even keel of a tenure as possible. While the J's faster cycle definitely means there's lot of turnover, trying to reduce that bottoming out to prevent the longer term impacts of being a worse team would be ideal. It's hard to imagine the kind of stress and difficulty that comes with have a team that regularly performs lower in the standings where as even if you do make it a couple steps further, suddenly there's a lot more hope to build off of, that affects both players and management. 11-16-2020, 07:17 PMCapt_Blitzkrieg Wrote: Congratulations again to both of you! 1. I've seen it before from being HO intern but the amount of nonsense that goes on in there is overwhelming at times. "Maybe there's something important to back read to" Nope. Love being part of it though. 2. I think just from our faces leading the franchise is already a big change for everybody both inside and on the outside. A lot of players will be moving on and there's going to be a lot of new blood, without having to make changes for the sake of marking our stamp and having things different, it's going to be whether we want it to be or not. 3. I don't know, we're basically the same person minus the alcohol content. 11-16-2020, 08:19 PMSDCore Wrote: Ah yes... I see... So I have a question 3... I'm already hamming, squirming and panicking as we speak. Don't think I could have asked for two more different but more compatible GMs to have been drafted by and worked with. There's going to be a day when I get to say the same things you do about dipping out and I hope I get to have the same degree of accomplishment when I do.
yosh
SMJHL GM cut back down to my knees, gotta get back, gotta get free, cut back to my knees, lean back now, lean back and breathe
