The Season 56 playoffs are over and congratulations to The Hamilton Steelhawks, and it was a hard-fought season for everyone, so the draft is set for this seasons draft, and we are here to talk about the players who are going to available to draft in the SHL in this S57 Draft. In this draft we see a lot of great potential players who could make a massive impact for their team when their names are called to come up and play for their respectable teams. This article we will see the in depth of these young players who are trying to make it in the SHL. I am going to do Top 30 players because I remember how mad I was when I was not included in the Draft Media Pieces across the league. They said I will not amount to a lot because of my money. Now look at me, I have $20 Million SHL Dollars (WHICH IS NOT A LOT)! These ratings are kind of going off of TPE Gain so far this season, so when. This is being made at the first round of playoffs and being written during the playoffs. Let us get started!!!
Rank #1: Jon St. Ark (G) Current TPE: 306 The Vancouver Whalers have two fantastic goalies in Name Redacted, and this rookie Jon St. Ark, once Name Redacted goes to the SHL, I think the Vancouver Whalers is not worried about their goalie situation. Jon St. Ark is very active goalie on the SHL site. He currently has over $17 million SHL dollars in his bank account and he will draw a lot of attention from teams who are in need of a goalie for the coming years. I believe he will not be the first overall pick, because he is a goalie but he will be drafted in the Top Ten. He is new to the SHL, and he is doing a great job on the activities that are to be done. He is going to make anyone who draft him happy. His regular season stats were really good for a rookie first time goalie. He played in 24 games, that is a lot for a backup goalie. With a 19 and 4 win and loss record and a save percentage of .930%, I think he has a good chance to win rookie of the year in the SMJHL. Look for him to make a massive impact for his SHL team he is drafted by, once he gets the call up. Now if the team that gets awarded the first pick from the lottery is a team that needs a goalie. Than he will be the first pick. Rank #2: Arsene Leclerc (D) Current TPE: 305 The Anaheim Outlaw Draftee is the next on our list, his name is Arsene Leclerc, you have seen him on your page, updating and doing all the stuff I cannot do. He has been with us in this league since 2016, and he has returned to the league, so he is experienced and knows a few things about this process, as you see above he is only 1… single… TPE away from Jon St. Ark, so he is second. But I think he will be the first player going in this draft this season. He is 6 foot 2 defensemen, who is very smart with puck and defenseman this active will have no problem finding a home, and we saw last season a defenseman going as the second pick, but this time I believe he is going to be first pick. With the massive $50 million dollars in his account, any team will be ready to jump on him. I would be surprised if he fell past the third pick. His stats this season were good for a rookie, he had 7 goals and 15 assists adding to 22 points on the season, with a +/- of -2, he averaged a lot ice time for his first season, a little over 21 minutes of total ice time. So, with a +/- of -2 is really for a player who spent a lot of time on the ice. Look for him on draft day, any team he lands on will sure be happy. Look out for him, he has some big money in his bank, over $50 million. So, a lot of teams love that. Rank #3: Jonathan Granström © Current TPE: 299 This top Detroit prospect is going to help any team, he is a very active in his Locker Room, it has been a pleasure being in the same locker room with him, he is at every sim. Very active for his country, he loves his Swedes. But he has been a good overall new comer as well. The top 10 TPE earners were newcomers so that is nice to see the newcomers taking charge. When I was a draftee, I had a lot of recreates, that were destroying me in TPE earnings. So, I am happy to see this. Back to Jonathan. He has described himself as this “Someone that isn't afraid to get physical, not a goal scorer but someone that wins the puck back and ensures my other team members can do something with. A gritty, hardworking player”. He is going to be a good center for any team. He is playing for a young team in Detroit, not a lot of chances were made for this team, but as a rookie he had 34 shots on goal. Next season he for sure will have way more shots on goal, this Detroit team is going to make a big move next season, so look for these Detroit prospects to double their stats. A lot of the teams do not pay attention to stats, they want to make sure you are an active in the locker room, and a good fit in the locker room. I think he is a great locker room presence. The team who drafts him, will be happy with this team player and he wants to win. His stats were good for a player who averaged over 10 minutes of ice time. He had 8 goals and 7 assists adding to 15 points with a +/- of -13. He has improved through the whole season with his shot blocking ability, he had 72 and that is going to be good next season too, as he improves his player. If I had to project a pick… Top 5. He has $6 million in his bank account so he will still get looked at from each team. GET MO MONEYS HAL!!! BUT Good luck HAL!!! Go Falcons!!! SKREEE!!! Rank #4: Yanno Rosejac (G) Current TPE: 296 Another Goalie is in the TOP 5!!! He was drafted by the Colorado Raptors, and has had an impressive rookie year. This young goalie is ready to take on the challenge in becoming a SHL goalie in the future. His reflexes are very good for a rookie. Jon St. Ark and Yanno Rosejac is two goalies that can help your team tremendously, Yanno Rosejac has been another active person, and he is a newbie!!! They are just coming like crazy. Taking charge of the S57 Draft. He is a big goalie standing at 6 foot 3 inches, 211 pounds. His puck handling will need to improve, but he has Jon St. Ark beat in stamina and he will not get tired, he can go many games in a row. Again, with another goalie, I do not have the correct understanding on where he could be drafted, the goalies I see are usually drafted later, but the two goalies on this list so far, Jon St. Ark was drafted in the first round, and Yanno was drafted in the second round of the is seasons SMJHL Draft. So, I guess it all depends who needs a goalie right away in the draft. If I had to give him a projection, I would say top 15 pick… Before you get mad with me. I do not know the situation in goalies in the SHL. BUT… these two goalies are going to be great for what ever team picks them up. I hope they get drafted in the top 5, but anyway. Let us check his stats on the season. He was the starter… for Colorado Raptors. He played 37 games out of the 50 this season and he had record of 18-17-2 with a save percentage of .897% and about almost 3 goals given up a game. He had an offense to match the goals scored on him. Next season we will see him get even better and he has $22 million in his bank. Good money to have. Rank #5: Rude Sniff (D) Current TPE: 294 Rude Snuff is our next player on our list of players for this upcoming draft. This defender is an average height defenseman, he has good puck handling skills for a defenseman and his reading on the defense is good for a rookie so more TPE he earns he’ll able to pump up those stats. He has been on this site since 2017 and he has one pervious player who was also a defenseman, so he knows how to build a good defenseman. I believe he will be the second pick, behind defender Arsene Leclerc. He has $32 million in his bank so the team will be very interested in that. Whoever has the second or first pick, look at this young man and you will have a great prospect when the time comes to call him up. His stats this season were, 7 goals and 3 assists adding to 10 points with a +/- of +2, so he only averaged nine minutes of ice time and that will for sure increase next season, but he had seven goals!! He is more of a shooting defenseman and you could call him an offensive defenseman. The Nevada Battleborn have a good player here, and once he gets more time you will see him creating more chances and getting more goals. He had 35 shots on goal in his first season, so look for him to improve on that next season. Rank #6: Freyja Hellström (LW) Current TPE: 293 Another new comer for the league and has been very active around the league, she was drafted by the Carolina Kraken and her name is Freyja Hellström. The Kraken draftee, was signed as an UFA last season and was able to get some experience with playing in the SMJHL level. If I had to predict the pick… I would say sixth overall, creeping past the top 5 picks. She could be the second overall for all we know, but we do not until Draft Day. The left wing prospect is sure to make any team happy, she is looking for a team who is close and that will not be hard to find a team like that in the SHL. She only had $1 million on her account, but she will sure be worth a top 5 pick. She once described herself as this “I selected the Dangler archetype. I have a clear offensive focus, and would say I'd like to be shoot first.” So, she wants to create chances for a team, more chances mean more shots on goals and when you get more shots on goal? More goals are scored for your team. She had an impressive rookie year, she had 13 goals and 8 assists totaling to 21 points on the year. She averaged 13 minutes of ice time, so those numbers are only going to go up. As the seventh highest earner so far, she is on the right track to get a lot of more ice time, and make a great winger. She had a +/- of -5, she will be a good fit with a pass first kind of center, I think. Because those two can create chances for your team and score some goals. She had 74 shots on goal in her first season, look for her to double that I think next season. Rank #7: Vlastislav Malik (LW) Current TPE: 291 This Left Winger is a strong player, yet another NEW comer. Vlastislav Malik is a massive 6 foot 5 inches left winger who plays for the Kelowna Knights, and he is built like a machine. He can easily be a top 5 selection in the draft. His balance for a big fella is pretty impressive. The way he can overpower someone else for the puck will make him a perfect fit in any SHL team, I like to think strength out ways speed, because knocking someone off the puck will be easier and help create more chances. Almost $3 million in his bank, he will need to get so more money in his bank, but that is not hard to do. Being a top ten projection in TPE earning will turn some heads for these teams GMs. His stats on the season were 4 goals and 8 assists adding to 12 points. He had 90 hits this season, and that was 14 minutes of ice time a game. He can easily get more than 120 hits next season. He had a +/- of -17. He did have 60 shots on goal. Over 30 shots blocked is a good thing to have on defense, he is such a big body and should be able to block shots with ease. Any team will be excited to have a 6 foot 5 inch MAN! Especially being that big, he should have no problem making an impact for his SHL team that is to draft him. Rank #8: Jari Heikkinen (D) Current TPE: 288 Jari Heikkinen is another defenseman on our top ten list, we see him as our eighth TPE gainer on this list, and he is 5 foot 10 inches defensemen who has very good vision on the ice. He can read the offense very well coming at him, he is playing for the Quebec City Citadelles this season, averaged a lot of time on the ice, it was almost 19 minutes of ice time. So, next season he can hit that 19 mark and will make a even bigger impact, I think he will have some things he needs to improve on as a defensemen like his shot blocking ability, he only had 23 shots blocked this season. He has been around since 2015, and he has $37 million dollars in his bank, so he is going to have enough money to get his weekly trainings and personal coaching. He is a top ten draftee, the SHL teams love defensemen. He has good vision on offense, he can make some good passes and he can be there for the team at the right time. He had 7 goals and 13 assists adding to 20 points. I think he can double his assists easy next season. He did have a good amount of shots on goal for a rookie defender, almost 90 shots on goal this season. He also had a +/- of only -5. He is not a big hitter he will not hit a lot, only had 31 hits and as well as shots blocked because he only had 23. Anyone who takes him will be pleased with a very good offensive defenseman. Rank #9: Dwayne Gretzky (LW) Current TPE: 287 Dwayne Gretzky… I wonder if he is related to…... Oh never mind, probably not. Any way this left winger is another newcomer, he was drafted by the Newfoundland Berserkers, and they love this guy there. Loves to learn and wants to win. Asks questions and wants to know how this work but wants to make sure he can get the most time on the ice to make his player the best player in the SHL. Whoever takes a chance on him is for sure going to get a hard working player that wants to win. He is definitely a top ten pick in this seasons draft. His physical abilities are really balanced and he is very well balanced and will be able to improve is player as the season goes on, I really like this build, he did well in his rookie season in the SMJHL, in only 8 minutes of ice time a game and still got 4 goals and 8 assists adding to 12 points with a +/- of -6, so not bad and he had over 30 shots in his 8 minutes of ice time, with his role to improve next season, he will have a massive spike in stats, so be sure to look out for him next season… You know I think he is top 5 pick now. I still want to know if he is related to that one guy… HMM… I believe he is on the right track to be good. I think he can double his stats next season as well. It should be fun to see him on the ice when his time is called to play in the SHL. Rank #10: Sean Gatez (D) Current TPE: 287 The top ten is rounded out with another defensemen, 4 of the 10 top TPE gainers is a defenseman. The Maine Timber draftee is a big 6 foot 4 inches, a big 230-pound defensemen and he has good balance of offense stats, he can be a good passer that can also handle the puck very well for a 6 foot 4 inches defender. He is also good at reading the offense and get in open and help creating chances. I love players that can get open and create chances for their team. I think giving your team more chances to score you will score more!!! It is an easy thing, so in my opinion he should be a top 5 pick! Let us look at his stats. He was on the ice a ton; he did not have the stats he probably wanted but he had 3 goals and 6 assists adding 9 points with a +/- of -18. He tried to create some chances, he had 65 shots on goal this season. As another new comer and with almost 3 million buck in his account, he will need to get a little more money to help him, but I do not want to focus on money made, I think if they fit in the locker room, than they should be drafted. It is not hard to make money here in the SHL. The newcomers will make money and they will compete with the guys that have millions and millions. Sean will be a good defender and will grow over the coming seasons, he will have better stats next season he needs to create more chances and once he does that. He will be a great defensemen that can get some assists from deflections, or even goals when you shoot it on net and get some luck and have it go in. Look out for him to make an impact in the SHL. Rank #11: Pablo Salvatici © Current TPE: 286 Pablo Salvatici was drafted by the Anchorage Armada, he was a first-round pick, and we have our first center of the list. He is another person who has been here before, 2015 was when he joined and he created this player Pablo Salvatici to be part of this seasons draft. With $20 million in his bank, he is going to bring some attention to the teams, I can see him going top 5 in this draft, but you never know like I keep saying. He is 5 foot 10 inches about 110 pounds, quick center to get down the ice, stamina is really good, which is what you need each games in the SHL, players that play back to back to back games. Any teams that need players that can have good stamina is a must need. We are going to be playing a lot more games in the future so teams will need a player that can hang each game without getting tired. His stats were good for his rookie campaign in the SMJHL. He had 9 goals and 7 assists adding to 16 points with a +/- of 0, and with 10 minutes of ice time that is not bad numbers, so being very active on the site look for him to easily double his numbers next season. Now for a projection. I think he can be a fringe top ten pick. Gaining traction with TPE. He is not far behind the leaders in TPE. He will be a good addition to any team. Rank #12: Bás O'Bigbers (LW) Current TPE: 286 Bás O'Bigbers is on the outside looking in, on the top ten list of the TPE gainers, this left wing prospect is going to make anyone happy to snag him. Standing at 5 foot 10 inches, his good puck handling is one of the best in this draft, he will make you look silly with his dekes, he will blow by you if he has to with his balanced speed and acceleration. His ability to get passed the opposing team and find the open man, he has the ability to pass the puck. He can also get open very easy, he uses his speed to get past the defenders and sink it in the net. He has been around the league before, he has been a member since 2017 and he has about $14 million bucks in his bank, he can definitely help his team so we will have to see what team takes him, they are getting a great prospect. He is active and ready to give his SHL team the opportunity to win with him. Let us look at his stats for this season, he had 9 goals and 13 assists adding to 22 points with only 12 minutes of ice time. Pretty impressive numbers for just averaging 12 minutes of ice time, with 86 shots on goal he is not afraid to make chances for his team, and he is not a big shot blocker, but he will create chances for your team! So, with all that being said, if you are in need of a left winger, I would look for him in the top ten getting picked. Nice last name too. Rank #13: Ruggs McOoooh (D) Current TPE: 284 The next person we have here is another defenseman, standing at 6 feet 1 inches tall and about 200 pounds, he is decent size defensemen who has very good defense read, and can make sure to be in the right position at the perfect time. He is another new comer joined in September, and he’s player is looking like he is going to be a good defenseman for whoever takes the chance on him. He has some other good stats to take a look at, his stamina is really good and he should be able to last game after game with his good stamina. The SHL teams can never have enough defensemen, so he would be a good choice to have as a defenseman. He has over $2 million dollars in his bank and is ready to get on the SHL to help his team. He will need to get more money, but until that he has time to get better and make more money. I would like to see him get drafted just outside the top ten. He would be a good defender if the ones above are not available. He has the ability to keep up with the opposing offense. I have been thinking if the team in top ten needs defenseman because his ability is there to compete. His stats this season were 2 goals and 10 assists adding to 12 points and with a +/- of -4, and averaging 20 minutes of ice time so a -4 is not bad at all for the time being the ice each game. Almost 80 hits and 33 shots blocked is a good amount for him, I think he can make them rise next season. So, anyone looking at him, you will not be disappointed. Rank #14: Vincent Mietitore (G) Current TPE: 280 The third goalie on our list is person we have seen before, he last recreate was a 1,400 TPE peak, and he played for the San Francisco Pride his whole career. In his career he won some gold, silver and bronze medals and he has won a lot. So, ViN knows how to compete in this league, who ever takes him will be happy with this goalie. His build looks good, let us talk about some of those stats. He has good reflexes that will have him reacting to shots cross his body, and we all know that is much needed. He also has good glove and blocker stats, who does not love a good “SLAMMED THE DOOR SHUT WITH A THE BLOCKER”. He is a very well balanced goalie, the stamina is something that can be worked on and is an easy fix. I think with almost $30 million in his bank, it is going to attract teams who need a goalie. This goalie build looks good for a future starting SHL goalie. His stats this season for the Anaheim Outlaws, were actually really good. So, playing in 36 games this season he had a record of 19-13-3 with a save percentage of .900%, and a goal average of 3.08. His numbers are actually not bad, next season he will lose less games and compete for the best keeper in the SMJHL. He would be a great choice for any team who needs a goalie. Look out for him and the other goalies competing to be the best goalie of the future. Rank #15: Rob Wright © Current TPE: 277 This center Rob Wright is the next on our list at #15. Currently standing at 277 TPE and Snuffalupagus has been around this league for many years, and has returned to recreate, and with a massive bank account of $50 million bucks, the teams will have an eye on him for that reason. Active center and knows what it takes to be a good player. This recreate he made has some good stats like screening, we all need a player that will get in front of the goalie and screen, but also be strong enough to take some hits in the back from the goalie, his strength is another feature of his build. He is strong enough to take hits and give hits, he can hit someone off the puck with ease. He did not have a lot of hits but he only averaged 9 minutes of ice time. He had 48 hits on the season and will look to build on that get more hits once he gets more ice time next season. He had 41 PIM, so next season he will need to get less. He had 5 goals and 11 assists adding to 16 points this season, with a +/- of +2. So, that +/- looks good, he creates chances he does not snap a lot on goal only 39 shots on goal this season, but he had 11 assists so he can help his team with passing the puck. Look for him to compete for a top 15 spot in this draft. Rank #16: Wen Baters (D) Current TPE: 276 Mr. Wen Baters… a Detroit Falcon player I am very familiar with. He is not a new comer into this league, Waters has been around the league since 2016, he has had many players come and go. He is very familiar with the way this draft works, so we see him with another player that looks to bounce back and be dominate like his players before this one. This is his fourth player so far. Some teams know “teams know what they are getting with you”. OH, Wen Baters. So, his stats so far are not high, he has a lot of points to use, so we will see his player grow, but Wen Baters is a good player, I got to play alongside him this season, he was active in the Locker Room, and you are getting a... great… atmosphere in the locker room. He is for sure the best defensemen in the draft…. I would take him first overall. NO. I would take him around the 16 or 17 pick into the draft. Let us look at his stats this season, he had 7 goals and 10 assists adding to 17 points with a +/- of -18, he was on the first line for the Falcons, he is a good choice for anyone who needs a Defensemen. Good luck Mr. Baters… Wen Baters. Rank #17: Anton Mihailov © Current TPE: 272 A Detroit player. So, I am very familiar with him, he is another new comer into the SHL. He is having another player that is very active in the Locker Room and wants to help his team any chance he can get. His player is a Center so we have a few already in the draft, but he is a top 15 pick, maybe a high pick around the 13 pick or even the 11 pick of this draft, creeping just barely out of the top 10, the draft is going to be exciting to see these new comers getting a chance to drafted high. I think Anton is a great teammate and Locker Room presence, because he wants to learn all the ropes and I think he can be a future GM or even being on the Management Team for a team. I would like to see him get picked by a team who wants to teach, and can train him in becoming a force in the SHL, he has the ability to succeed. He describes himself as “a wise playmaker, who are aiming to be 1st line center someday. He isn't maybe the most physical player, but he has good game vision!” Let us take a look at his stats, a few of them stands out to me, his passing is something I focus, he wants to pass first rather than shot. His puck handling ability is another strong suit, you need to have good handling of the puck so you can create chances for your team. He will need to work one some defensive stats, but he will be just fine. He had a decent this season, he had 1 goal and 7 assists adding to 8 points with a +/- of -16 and averaging about 13 minutes of ice time this season, next season he will get those numbers up. He created a lot of chances for his line in Detroit. Whoever selects him is getting a hardworking SHL player. He will work his hardest to get to a first line of the SHL team that drafts him. Rank #18: Farley Hank (D) Current TPE: 271 Farley Hank is another player we see coming over from the PBE/ISFL. His player render is the GREAT… (CRAP) Mike Glennon the quarterback. Farley Hank is Beebob’s first recreate in the SHL, so yet another new comer and his player is looking good, he is growing on the TPE chart but when I am making this he is at the 270 mark, but I am making this before the updates. The top 20 players you cannot go wrong with. He is around pick 17 right now. His stats look good for a passing defenseman. His passing ability is one of the best in this draft, his puck handling skills is another thing that we see as being one of the best in this draft. His ability to read the other team’s offense is really high for a rookie. We have to see how he improves the other stats that are below 10. But next season he will work on that. With a negative bank account, he will need to get some money flowing so he can buy the trainings and equipment, but again I said before, it is not hard to make money in the SHL. He is a good active player and wants to make his player the best he can be. His stats this season were not bad at all!! He had 6 goals and 11 assists adding to 17 points and had a +/- of +7!! He created a lot of chances for his team. I have said it before I will say it again, a defenseman who can create chances for your team will succeed. His shooting accuracy is another strong suit for him as well. Look out for him to make some noise Rank #19: Jarmo Kekäläinen (LW) Current TPE: 271 The next player we see is a Left Winger who plays for the Colorado Raptors and TheFlash has been here in the SHL before, he has been a member since 2019, and had to retire early for personal issues, but this recreate Jarmo Kekäläinen is a winger that has a very good passing stat, he has been assisting his teammates this season very well. The way he can make a pass out of nothing is quite impressive. He is a guy who could get 30 assists in a season… EASY!!! But the other stats we see he had over 50 shots on goal and he looks like a pass first kind of build, he had 4 goals and 14 assists adding to 18 points with a +/- of +9!!! WOW! He has the highest +/- out of anyone so far in this draft recap. The big 14 assists are huge for him, because like I said he can double that easily next season, he averaged 13 minutes of ice time, so next season if he can get up to the 18 or 19. He will for sure double that stat. If a team is looking for a passing winger look for this guy right here. He has $17 million in his bank so he is going to be getting some attention from a lot of teams, do not be surprised if he goes somehow in the top 10! But I would say he is hovering around 13 or 14 for this draft. Welcome back TheFlash!!! Good Luck. Rank #20: Brennan Huff (RW) Current TPE: 268 Here we have the next player in our draft recap is our first right winger in this draft order. He plays for the Kelowna Knights this season and he is another person who is a recreate. Jayrome has been around this site since 2015, Brennan Huff is an even averaged player, a well balanced player in all his categories. I think his getting open stat will help him get more points for next season he is a good player and I think he is going to be a middle 15 pick. I would like to see him in a spot where he can succeed with his passing and shooting ability. He had a nice stat line for his rookie season, he had 6 goals and 6 assists adding to 12 assists with a +/- of -20. He almost had 50 shots this season, if he continues to make his player better with each update. If you look at his TPE to others ahead of him, he is only 20 TPE behind the tenth player. With almost $10 million in his bank, that is good enough to start with buying the first SHL season of personal training. He knows what it takes to create a good player, so be on the lookout for him in this upcoming draft. Rank #21: Matty Sandeen (D) Current TPE: 267 This quick defender is another new comer and we should see him make a great impact, his stats overall are very well balanced. The puck handling ability is really good, as a defender you want to see this, I think you should have good puck handling skills when you are a defender because when you get the puck and you do not want to lose it. I see he has a lot of TPE available so once the season starts he will be coming into the new season wanting to use that TPE up and make his player better. His hitting is not as high but hey it depends on your build if he does not want to be a hitter…. THEN HE DOES NOT HAVE TOO!!! Sorry… Anyway, with the $3 million in his bank he has some wiggle room to get some more money during the year to afford his personal training, but right now as it stands I see him around pick 15 thru pick 18. His stats this season were good for his rookie season in the SMJHL. He had 8 goals and 5 assists adding to 13 points with a +/- of -16. He did average 15 minutes of ice time this season, so maybe next season he bumps those numbers up, he can score some more goals. Good luck and you are getting a good player. Rank #22: Tokkulu Lakkamaa (RW) Current TPE: 266 Here is another right winger we see floating around the mid rank of the list, the team that takes him is getting a nice winger with some really good stats, personally I like his shooting ability. His shooting accuracy and shooting range is really good for his age. He can improve on a few things, but his physical stats are at a nice rating for right now, he can also read the offense well, he can be at the right time to help a line that has some good passing skilled players. You put him on a line with those guys is the best idea to help him succeed in goal scoring, the more chances created for him, the better he will be in scoring goals. My motto “More chances more problems… for the other team.” With over $10 million bucks in his bank account. Dmuda11 has been on this site since S35 with his first player as a goalie. If I had to say where he would go, I would say fringe first rounder. He has the ability to be a very lethal player if paired right with other players. Here are his stats for this season. He had 1 goal and 8 assists adding to 9 points, he is an average player right now, but he will continue to grow and get better. at 6 foot 4 inches tall and only 150 pounds, he needs to get stronger so he can make a big impact on the team that takes a chance on him. Rank #23: Cian McFelter © Current TPE: 265 Cian is our next player who we are looking at is another new comer. He is a 6 foot tall 200 pound center who stamina is his biggest feature. With 66 games coming in the near future it will be big to have stamina for these long stretches of games. Cian is one of the best faceoff takers in the draft this season. He is a quick player too. The way he can speed past the defense to get the pass to the open man, or try and take it himself. He also has the ability to have good puck handling skills, with having a good puck handling ability, it can be beneficial to have so we can get past the defense with his speed and puck handling. I think he can be a top 15 pick. If you are in need of active center prospect, he is your guy, if he falls out of the first round take him, he will be a great pick for anyone in need of a center in the next 3 or 4 seasons. With almost $4 million in his bank he will need to capitalize on some money making jobs, or media, and sigs. Here is what his stats look like. He had 8 goals and 17 assists adding to 25 points in his rookie season, he had a +/- of -17 and with an average of about 15 minutes of ice time with the Kelowna Knights. He had 63 shots on goal, he can easily hit 100 shots on goal next season. Look at him to make an immediate impact when he gets the call up to whatever team selects him. Rank #24: Robert Feltersnatch (D) Current TPE: 264 The Kelwona Knights rookie came into the season was once a Colorado Raptor, and was traded due he wanted to be in the same Locker Room as couple of his friends, which is all dandy! This is a community and if you want to be in the same locker room, the GMs will try and make it happen, but he was a good player for the Knights after being traded. There are a few stats that I would like to point out, his ability to be more of a Quarterback type player, he can be a disruption to the other team, because of the way he can handle the puck and make chances for his team. The ability to score makes him a valuable asset to anyone’s team. He is below the 10 stat line on some of his defensive stats but that is a easy fix. I would say he is a fringe first rounder. The ability to use his speed to get back and catch anyone on a breakaway, or speed by to try and create a chance for his team to score. His stamina will help him in later games. The stats he had were not bad, he had 4 goals and 7 assists adding to 11 points with a +/- of -7 on an average ice time of 17 minutes. So, next season we will see him improve the numbers I believe, he had 46 shots on goal he will look to create more chances next season, but with that nice bank account of almost $10 million, he will get the attention of some teams, this is a good draft for the defensemen. Rank #25: Luukas Lilja © Current TPE: 264 Another center we see here, another new comer that is on the scene. He has been active and is ready to make the impact for his team. The ability to pass the puck as a defenseman is a big thing to have especially early on in his young career. His puck handling is really good as well, that helps him hold onto the puck to create chances for a team. We like to see defenseman as a kind of person that can run the offense when they are in the zone. He is capable of doing that, the way we see this draft going, there is a lot of defensemen so I would say he could go beginning of the second round. Which is not bad at all. I was a second round talent, after being drafted in the sixth round of the SMJHL Draft. The players we see now do not worry about not getting drafted in the first round, it is a kind of feeling you want to go and prove people wrong and you should have been a first rounder! But, Luukas is a good player when the defenders above are gone. He is an active person, so let us see if he can make a big impact when he gets his call up, he has the ability to do it and with almost $9 million in his bank, he will be getting a few looks. His stats for the year were this, 2 goals and 17 assists adding to 19 points with a +/- of -5. He averaged 13 minutes of ice time, he missed 2 games for the Carolina Kraken this season. Good luck Luukas. Rank #26: Victor Fedorov ( C ) Current TPE: 263 The Russian product I played along side in the WJC. Who is a 6 foot 3, 210 pound RUSSIAN MAN!!! His defense ability is pretty good for a rookie, his positioning is high and is he knows where to be at all times and he can use his stick checking ability to move the other person off the puck, and without getting a penalty, with only 46 penalty mins through 50 games, that is less than one penalty minute a game, so really good. He had 86 hits this season, so anyone interested in a center who can hit but also can play offense and shoot and pass the puck, well than Victor is the guy for you. The way he can pass the puck and handle the puck as well, he needs to bump some offensive stats up, but other than that, he is a great Center Prospect for anyone who will need a center in a few seasons. He had a good season statistically he had 3 goals and 13 assists adding to 16 points and with a +/- of -8 that is a good season. I want to see him score more goals well especially for Mother Russia as well. He averaged over 14 minutes of ice time, so he can get those numbers up and he will be making a big impact for the St. Louis Scarecrows. Good luck Victor in this draft. Make Russia Proud!!! Rank #27: Michael Scotch (D) Current TPE: 263 Another defenseman we see here floating around the 25 mark of the best players in this draft. Now having zero dollars in his bank, will not hurt him, but he will need to get some money flowing, but as the top 25 guy that is still a second round pick, so he is still active on the site and TPE chart. He is a new comer in September. The Anaheim Outlaw product is ready to get his SHL career off and running. The ability to be a good player is there, if he sticks to the TPE rise. Now his abilities, the one that stands out is his passing ability, he can make those nice smooth tape to tape passes, I like the way he can make a pass in the crowded areas look so easy. His checking ability is something he can use to his advantage. As we see this is a big defensive draft, if cannot get the player you want in the early round, in this second round player Michael Scotch will be a good choice to take in the second round. Let us look at his stats this season. The Anaheim Outlaw player had zero goals but had 12 assists adding to 12 points with a great +/- of +4. Only 17 penalty minutes which is good for a young defenseman. Good luck to you sir in this Draft. Rank #28: Ren-Ekelemchi Shimizu-Okoli (D) Current TPE: 262 What a name… I am not going to attempt to spell it out. Another defenseman is appearing in this draft. Ren Ekelrgtrlchi Shimdzizi Okoli (close enough) is the eleventh defensemen in the draft. In the first round you will see the defensemen go, and the few we see so far projected at the second round are going to be a good choice for anyone who look at for a defenseman after the first round. Ren’s ability to use his speed and agility to get into open space and pass the puck to the forwards to make a play happen, he is an average player, has the ability to be really good, with over $14 million in his SHL bank, he will continue to grow and become better when his time has come to get the call up from whoever takes him in this Draft. If we take a look at some things he needs to work on, I would like him to up his shooting range, because it looks like he is going to be more of a shooting defenseman. Once he ups his stats for the stats he can be lethal. In his 18 minutes of ice time, he had 5 goals and 8 assists adding to 13 points and only had a +/- of -3, he had 84 shots on goal so look for him to hit the 100 mark next season. Rank #29: Mikael Koskinen (RW) Current TPE: 259 Here we have our next pick. The Right Winger Mikael Koskinen, is a pass first ask questions later kind of player. He passing stat is really good for this youngster and he looks to improve his player in the coming season. Another stat that stands out is his puck handling ability is insane and can make just about anyone miss, and by using his puck handling ability to get around the defense and find an open man, he can make any team look silly. This character is one of many from the user Storm, the winger he made is very quick as well, but the balance needs a little work and once he gets that fixed he will be a lethal player. His stats for the season were 5 goals and 6 assists adding to 11 points and a +/- of +9 and an average ice time of 12 minutes, so he is going to get more ice time next season so look for him to improve his numbers next season. He has a FAT BANK ACCOUNT! He has over $45 million in his account so anyone who takes him will be excited by that. I see him going around the mid second round in this draft. Good luck! Rank #30: Tyler Ward Current TPE: 257 Tyler Ward the goalie and our last person on this list, he is another goalie we see on this list. He plays for the Quebec City Citadelles and he is behind the great Mat Smith so he gets to learn everything from him. He is behind some good keepers in this draft, but whoever takes him will not be upset with the choice. He is a good keep in between the pipes. His positioning is really good, he is very good at recovering so, if he moves to the left and the puck is passed to the right quickly, Tyler Ward will move quickly and save the puck. It is a great trait to have. He is another new comer to the SHL, he is active and has almost $4 million in his SHL Bank. I do not know where I could put him in this Draft so, I would say when the other goalies are gone, he will be the next goalie taken. His stats this year in 15 games he had 9 wins and 3 loses and 1 overtime loss. He had a save percentage of .923% and a goal average of 2.28, so get stats for this young keep. We will see him get drafted for sure on Draft Day. Good luck to you Tyler Ward. This Draft will be exciting to watch so good luck to all the players who are drafted!!! See you in the SHL!!!
