Thank you @Carpy48, @honkerrs

This interseason has been very successful, I have become much stronger and one of the things I've put on speed and accelerator. This skill certainly helps me to get more quickly in the day, if I get delayed. At this difficult time, too, with all the pandemics, I can move quickly without worrying about staying anywhere longer than I need. Visiting the same stores is much quicker. But if my career were to break down, I would certainly be in the family of police officers. I'm strong, fast, and also quite well trained to defend myself. But I don't think about it yet, because my career at the big level has just started and I hope it won't break up so quickly. I have quick hands that I could also help myself by playing other sports games in my spare time, because I also have a close-up florball and volleyball in my heart, where such skills are useful.

Much unlike myself in real life, Daniil Nikiforov sports a high offensive read. Meaning he's outgoing person who has very little trouble talking with people and engaging them. Being able to make his teammates laugh, to get a lady's number, or just be the life of the party. For such a young person, Daniil has tons of confidence. Speaking of the ability to talk to ladies, his shooting accuracy being extremely high means that he very rarely fails to score a number. His penchant for being a very outgoing person means that he flocks to the cameras covering Baltimore. You can often find Daniil agreeing to a lot of promotional media for BAP. He has agreed to begin, once things are safer, to be the interviewer in the locker room for quite a few segments for the Platoon TV Network. So having a very decent passing stat also means he'll be able to quickly pass questions to his fellow teammates during interviews. Overall, Nikiforov has some really good stats for such a young player.

Lyle isn't a goalie, so in the SHL, Lyle does not need to work on this stat. But in his real life, he relies heavily on this stat. The stat that I am talking about is recovery. The life of a hockey player involves a lot of early morning practices, this is something Lyle has been doing almost all of his life. When he was younger, getting up for a 5AM practice was easy, he would always be the first one up, waiting for his parents to drag themselves out of bed to drive him to practice. As Lyle grew up, he started to realize why his parents were not always eager to get up so early. Getting older takes a toll on the body, and Lyle will be the first to admit, since coming to New Orleans, one of the bigger party cities around, Lyle does enjoy sipping on a few adult beverages from time to time. So increasing his 'recovery' stats, not only help he get ready for those early morning practices, it also helps him feel more like a human after indulging in a few wobbly pops when he's celebrating a big win or a Tuesday.

The Bravery skill is very important in real life outside of hockey. Sometimes on the ice I can turn into a fearless warrior and feel so comfortable and confident doing anything needed to get what I want for my team and I. Outside of the rink sometimes it's harder to turn the Bravery on when needed. The years of time on the ice has made it feel like a 2nd home so it's easier to feel brave at home. When on the streets and in a tough situation it can be hard to call on that bravery. My looking at some game tape and seeing how Brave I can be on the ice it helps me have more confidence outside the rink. I see that I can be Brave when I just turn my brain off and act instead of thinking. Being brave in life can help lead to all sorts of growth because I am not as fearful of failure as before it allows me to try many new things. As well I can push myself to my limits and fail to keep getting better without being scared. Bravery is something most are born with but get taught out of them...time to relearn what I always knew. No fear!

Having the ability to use the skills a player has on the ice and transfer them to use off the ice would be an exciting prospect. There are so many different options that could be extremely useful, like always being in the right place at the right time with the Positioning skill, or always being able to open anything (doors, safes, lockers, vehicles, etc.) with the Getting Open ability. The Shooting Accuracy would have been supremely useful if we lived back in the Old West, but wouldn't be as useful today. I would personally choose the Bravery and Recover skills if given the choice. With heightened bravery, I would have much less to no fear when it comes to some of the scarier but exciting activities like skydiving or bungie jumping. The recovery ability would help me heal from any injury and get better from any illness if not being immune from all of them to begin with.

Going out to a pub and getting piss drunk is a regular occurrence for the lad Bas O’Bigbers. It’s just his pregame ritual and as we all know Bas O’Bigbers is always in pregame. Last season on a road trip Bas was in Carolina on a road trip against the Kraken and he finds himself in a frat party at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. The circumstances as to how Bas has wound up at a frat party is somewhat ambiguous but it probably was related to college frat bros being charmed by his Irish accent while being wasted. Bas’ liver is made of iron and he’s hanging with the lads of the frat in all their drinking games. But then Bas is presented with a new challenge. Quarters.

Bas has never played quarters in his life. A game which requires bouncing a quarter into an opponent’s pint before they can do the same to yours. It’s a game about wrist control. Bas might be in over his head. Shoot. Miss. Shoot. Miss. Shoot Miss. Shit.

Maybe drinking will help? Bas chugs his pint of Guinness on the table as the frat bros get annoyed. “NO THE POINT IS TO NOT CHUG THE BEER DUDE!” It is perplexing to create a drinking game where the goal is to stay sober but okay. They refill his glass as he prepares. Shoot. Miss. Shoot. Hit frat bro in the eye. Shoot. Miss. Bas has run into an obstacle that he’s never met before. A challenge that can not be made easier by consuming alcohol.

It’s time to use hockey. Years of practicing balance have helped him to overcome his opponents on the ice and it’s the only tool he has in his arsenal here. Bas casts a balance spell on his wrist to improve his quarter shooting accuracy. Shoot. Make. Shoot. Make. Shoot. Make. Bas you absolute legend. Bas gets the place piss drunk in a game of quarters and everyone had a great time. Except for JNH because Bas missed practice.

Brady McIntyre has a far higher than average offensive read attribute. Offensive read would translate really well into the being the SJW that certain site members believe that he is. This high attribute allows in him to analyze the speech of other people extremely quickly and determine whether or not the words people are saying includes offensive language. This combined with his also high defensive read allows him to formulate complex arguments that allow him to come to the aid of marginalized groups of people who are being disparaged by those using the offensive language.

Unfortunately there is another side to this coin, his low bravery and aggression attributes which are so low that any time a discussion becomes difficult in any manner he absolutely crumbles and is totally ineffective at continuing to defend those marginalized groups. His somewhat high stamina helps mitigate this but sadly his high read attributes and low bravery/aggression leave him as an ineffective intellectual stuck living in the exceptionally high IQ of his own mind unable to converse with those who would call him an SJW.

Eric Hudson has picked up a very fun and exciting off season hobby, sports car racing.  With a couple local tracks nearby including Texas Motor Speedway and Circuit of the Americas Hudson gets to fulfill his need for speed. The main attributes that help with this are Offensive Read, Defensive Read and Agility.  Offensive read helps determine when it's time to make a move to jump ahead, is there an opening or should you hang back? Defensive read helps with deciding when it's necessary block the car behind you or when it could be advantageous to let them go by.  Agility helps both of these with making those decisions in a split second, especially on the Circuit of the Americas which is a very fast and technical track.  Another, often underrated, attribute is Stamina.  Stock car races can be very long, 100-200 laps in some cases.  Of course, Hudson isn't racing those kind of races but even in the lower tiers of racing they can be 20-50 laps.  That's a lot of concentration needed.  Mistakes can cost you the race, or worse, destroy your car.

Stamina no doubt. It would allow my player to keep up without getting as gassed. For instance, say he gets targeted by fans of a rival team and they begin to chase him through the streets of their city. My player is new to this city so he is going to be running around a lot in circles trying to find the best escape route. In this scenario, many of the attributes would be helpful. For instance, you’re going to need high reflex attribute to evade and not trip over and uneven part of the road. You will need low shots so you can kick someone in the nuts or block a nut attack. All kind of possibilities with this scenario, but overall, I think a high stamina attribute will come in clutch and help my player the most. Hopefully, my player is never forced into this situation, but I like his odds based on the stamina attribute.

Raivo Helminen is a center who is known for his physicality, not a surprise to hear that some of the skills he uses on the ice can also help him in his daily life.

Aggression - typically aggression and aggressive behavior do not have a place in modern society, but aggression can also be subtle. The way Raivo Helminen for example walks down the street could signal to other people that he is in a hurry and should not be disturbed.

Positioning - as everybody knows, busy streets and stores are places that could expose you to covid. Being too close to people around you is a no-no, but with correct positioning professional athletes like Raivo Helminen can reduce the odds of getting sick as he positions himself correctly and keeps a fair distance to others.

Balance - when you are moving to a new flat or helping a friend move, it is important that you have control of your body. Especially, when carrying something heavy or delicate. Raivo Helminen as a fairly large individual has a solid balance naturally, so he would not have to worry about dropping something or injuring himself or the people around him as he can stay balanced in most situations.
