I think with the way I am as a person, as fun as it is to be in the pros and want to make it to the pros, you gotta start off in the juniors. And that is why the Vancouver Whalers Fantasy Camp would be such a cool concept.
The idea of getting the youth involved with the juniors and them understanding the whole process of what it takes to go pro would be amazing. Not only that, but if they do want to to meet pros, what better way to meet the pros than have players from every team around the SHL there. So no matter what, everyone's happy.
The Vancouver Whalers of S48 were an average team going into the playoffs and I think they pulled off some upsets to be a champion. We would be able to have the trophy on display aswell as some of the best SHL players in the league right now. With the likes of Aaron Wilson and Theo Morgan, YOUR Most Valueable Player of the SHL of S56, it would make for an attraction. Kaspars Claude,Dale Miller, Jax Duggan, Jean-Paul Boivin and even Jon Forty-One would be there aswell. Igor Volkov would come out of retirement to visit the fantasy camp (Hope everything is going well with you man ) and the infamous Casimir Stevens (Am I allowed to say his name around here)
An Alumni matchup against the current Whalers would make for some good entertainment. The Alumnis can be coached by Luke, our GM of the time, and the current Whalers can try and keep up with us
For the people attending, they get a signed album of trading cards and all signed by the player. A picture with the team and the trophy, the attendance to the Alumni game aswelll as one regular season game.
There will be raffles of current player jerseys signed in the pros. A Theo Morgan Hamilton Steelhawks, Kaspars Claude Specters, etc.
And when the day is over, every fan gets to choose a Vancouver Whalers jersey to leave with, either home or away.

The Calgary Dragons are proud to announce their weekend fantasy camp this summer 2021. This will be a two day getaway to the mountains of Banff. There will be not tents or trailers as the Dragons like to sleep under the stars in the middle of nowhere. The trip will start Friday as Esa will be driving the bus and picking up everyone early in the morning to head to Banff. Clothing is not an option on this weekend getaway as it is a pure return to nature caveman adventure. We bring no food, clothes or shelter and see what we can come up with alone in the mountains. Mikael Choybuk will be the lead in building a shelter. Kata Vilde can kill small animals for food. Maxime Bouchard is an expert at finding clean water sources. Barry Batsbak can start a fire with 2 rocks and a twig. Joseph Weston and Boris "The Beast" Poroshenko will attempt to kill a deer on the first night to provide food for the whole weekend. Cale Amundsen is an expert mycologist and will search the forest floors for the best magic mushrooms he can find. At 12:00 midnight on night 2 we all take a large dose of mushrooms together and connect as a whole. Last year we had a 3 hour conversation while sitting in a circle, but nobody once opened their mouth.
Cost: $50

The Baltimore Platoon present... A Covid Training Camp with future, current and past Platoon Stars!
The lineup is pretty intense, for the fan friendly cost of $1000 USD, you can join platoon prospects Vili Tuga’tūga’bo’atu, Lucas Johansson, and Teddy Park, as well as current players Valentin Kalashnikov, Adam Friedland, and Simon Takshak playing online games of NHL 21 provided you own the game, and the same console as them. During the game you can enjoy a steamy meal of a microwave popcorn bag (you can chose extra buttery, low buttery, or "smart"), and 2 Pizza Pockets, deluxe, pepperoni, or cheese.
Along with the deluxe meal, you get a signed jersey from the current roster, and a signed jersey from West Kendall from no other than Beaujeaux Biscuit and Danni Foresberg - that one alone is probably worth the cost of admission.
In addition to all these wonderful prizes, you will have your name appear on the Jumbotron in a random home game in the upcomming season as a Supporter of the Platoon.
An experience that money can not buy (Except for this case it can, for $1000)
The Hamilton Steelhawks are one of the league’s oldest franchises, so having some alumni would be very special and give some new fans the chance to meet some of the players who were around in the early days. Some of the alumni attending are still around the SHL as agents today, namely Roberto Martucci and Raymond Lindsay. In addition, the Steelhawks were able to get franchise scoring leader Joe McKeil to make an appearance, as well as the beloved Steelhawk Robert Phelps!
While having alumni is great, it wouldn’t be right for our current fans to not meet some of the current SHLers that play for the Steelhawks, which is why we will also have Aaron Wilson, Dick Clapper, rookie Rotticus Scott and everyone’s favorite defender, Gabriel Johnson. Having four past and present Steelhawks members will really bring our fans closer to the organization like never before.
The fantasy camp amenities include the following:
- Playing 2 games and with the Steelhawks in attendance
- Access to 1 Steelhawks practice during the regular season (date TBD)
- Box seats to a Hamilton Steelhawks home game of your choice
- A pair of tickets for you and a friend to a Hamilton Steelhawks home game of your choice
- Exclusive memorabilia only offered at the Steelhawks Fantasy Camp
- Autograph and photo sessions with everyone in attendance
- And automatically entered in to a raffle for various prizes featuring your current and past Steelhawks members!
We believe this Fantasy Camp will give attendees the greatest experience of meeting your past and present Steelhawks and allowing anyone of all ages to enjoy the festivities!
For the New England Wolfpack 2020 Fantasy Camp we want to make it extra special to everyone attending because of how rough this year has been in general.
For starters we'll be bringing in all alumni that are part of the New England Hall of Fame!
#10 Patrikov Bure
#11 Jasper Clayton
#14 Nathan Russell
#66 Mia Landvik
And as a special guest we'll also be bringing in Tigole Bitties!
These five Wolfpack stars will be joining the attendees on the ice for one practice, on game, and also during the dinner that's been planned to wrap up the camp weekend.
Outside of the above, attendees will also receive a three nights stay at the Boston Garden. Yes, the arena where the team plays all their home games. Every attendee will be given a Wolfpack branded sleeping bag and pillow that they will use to sleep on the ice itself! They'll even be allowed to keep these sleeping items. Incredible!
All of this amazingness for the low covid-discounted price of $5999.99.
The Citadelles aren't a team with a long history, but location alone has offered them a significant fan-base: the only SHL or SMJHL organization in Quebec since the departure of the Montreal Militia. For the price of admission into the Citadelles' fantasy camp, fans will receive a few major benefits right off the bat. These include two nights stay at Quebec City's most expensive hotel, the Hordle Luxury Hotel (Hôtel de luxe Hordle), during which time the fans will be be invited to a banquet in the exquisite hotel lobby alongside current Citadelles players and staff. Due to teams connections, this will also be featured during a special live episode of Hockey Talk Tonight, during which time fans will receive complimentary autographed tank-tops with the podcast logo.
But, a fantasy camp needs some hockey -- and for that reason, fans will get to skate alongside the Citadelles in an invitational skills competition, along with a day of friendly scrimmages during which time the roster will cycle in and out. Already confirmed for that day are Jari Heikkinen, Mat Smith, Tyler Ward, Taylora Petrov, and Jasper Maximov. That night, the fans will be among those in attendance as the Citadelles host their first annual charity banquet at the Hordle Luxury Hotel, under the auspices of the Citadelles' primary investor, esteemed Denny's founder Giovanni de Hordle.
If all that wasn't enough, every fan who participates in the camp will also receive a complimentary Quebec Citadelles blanket, fresh from the SHL Merch store. Perfect for wrapping oneself in as they enjoy the Citadelles' early season win record.
