S58 mPT #2 Most Important Stat

If you ask sloth he may tell you that Fighting is the most important stat for everyone, and that is where I tell you: Do not trust sloth. I think (and it's hard to say for me since I'm pretty new myself) having a balanced build is one of the most important things to do early on. That and spending TPE on Physical attributes, mostly Speed and Balance.

The most important stat is hitting. What is more the measure of a man than his aptitude for physical confrontation at higher than normal velocity? Or ladies. Ladies be hittin too...

The most important stat a skater can have is shooting accuracy. Doesnt matter how much you can skate as a forward if you cant even shoot the puck on target.

I think a lot of stats are important and you need a balance to be successful. That said, shooting accuracy is a good stat to favour to at least control the RNG of the sim a little.

The most important stat is stamina so you can last longer and be able to perform at a higher pace. The people who depend on you to go hard every go will be much pleased if you can give your best at every push.

By and far the most important stat for any player is Stamina. Your player will be playing up to 66 games in a regular season, and if you're on a team like the Anchorage Armada, your travel time will be heavily affecting your play. Going on those long plane rides is exhausting enough as is. So Stamina is key to being successful in this day and age's SMJHL.

Defensive Read is the only stat that, if improved to the right level, can save you from getting chewed out by the coaching staff for your miserable failures.

Sometimes it is not flash and skill that makes you a quality player but being physically able to keep up with the game. This is why all physical attributes are important in the early stages of a pro's career. If I had to pick one to focus on it would be Balance because if you don't get knocked off the puck you at least get to try and make the plays rather than being on the flat of your back on the ice. A great way to train that is to pull out the old toe pick skates and do some figure skating! All the best players do it, don't worry about how dumb you might look. Soon you will be doing spins and jumps around the other team!

For goalies, the most important stat definitely has to be reflexes. You could make an argument for positioning too, but there's a reason why Hasek is the GOAT when it comes to goalies, his positioning wasn't perfect but his reflexes were like nobody we've seen before or since.

I think defensive read is the most important attribute. I think that offense comes from defense and if you can't break up a play or don't know where to be you'll never break up a play to get an odd man rush or anything like that.

I think balance is probably one of the most important and under rated stats in the game. It allows you to battle for the puck and maintain poise throughout the entire range of your player's game.

Stamina! While we got the boost to 11 stamina for free after the first season of FHM. It is still very apparent that not having 13 STA in the J can cause your player to struggle if they are on the ice often. Once in the SHL it starts to vary in quite a few ways, but I'd still argue its one of the best things to spec into initially.

To be a strong player, a good player you must have strength. The strength to hit. To take away the puck. To hold on to the puck. To let it go when it is time, as the puck grows and leaves the house. You must have the strength to wave goodbye to it and not cry. Your puck is an adult now, and needs to learn to stand or fall on its own. It is a tough journey but you need to have the strength to believe in your puck and that your puck can be successful in its life.

Greetings human. If there was a stat that tracked the reproductive capabilities of your player then I would suggest you input as many points into that neural upgrade as humanly possible. Since that particular neural upgrade is not available at this time in human history, aggression should be the next obvious choice. Most mating rituals have an undertone of aggression in them. Good luck spawnling!

Aggression and hitting are the most important stats for a new player in the SHL. The other team won't be able to play hockey if they get absolutely rocked every time they touch the puck.
