As you may or may not have seen earlier today, @grok has stepped down from his position as Seattle's inaugural co-GM after four seasons. Before I move on to the next part of this announcement, I just want to say how appreciative I am that he stepped up to the plate and delivered as a supportive voice in the earliest days of our franchise. He was a great co in both Detroit and Seattle, and I remain exceptionally grateful that we had the opportunity to work together in the same capacity as when we started out as noob GMs almost three years ago in the J. Grok is one of the most principled people I know and I have always trusted him to be a voice of reason that keeps my dumb ass from flying too close to the sun. We still have lots to accomplish in the future with his player's career as an Argonaut, so while this is definitely a bittersweet moment, we know you're in it for the long haul. Thank you, grok.

Now, I'm proud to announce the new Seattle co-GM - @reid. Since the moment I started scouting him before the S52 SMJHL draft when I was still in Detroit, I knew Reid had the potential to be not just a special player, but an incredible contributor to the community. Since that day he's done nothing but prove me right on that front. He's held a number of site jobs, most recently as a member of SHL HO and Detroit Falcons co-GM, and he's been a valuable part of our war room since we acquired him. He's done an incredible job of building positive relationships and respect around the league. What stood out to me from the moment grok announced internally that he would be stepping down was how eagerly Reid pursued the possibility of becoming the team's co-GM and his thoughts on the state of team and where we can go from here. Knowing what a sharp mind he is, I'm confident he'll bring a ton of energy into his new role and help lead this team into the future as we look to build on our best season yet.
