Prologue
The draft is done already and here we are in new teams excited to to meet new friends and managers. I started playing myself just a few days ago and I already love the game. And while i was sitting in my sofa watching the draft live eating pizza and drinking beer for 3 hours I have the last couple of days been looking at other players from the same draft, comparing myself to them and comparing them to others and what not. So for all of your amusement i will now write a few words about what I think about all players and their current (not yet updated) TPE with working links. And that includes a top-10 at the end. It might be a bit inaccurate for now since everyone hasnt bought their seasonal training yet. If you want more information about that, check the respective players link. If people find this amusing and actually enjoy reading it there might be regular updates once every week or two regarding the draft class of S61 and their respective TPE. Please also bare in mind that the descriptions of the players might not be accurate and is only from my expressed opinions as a brand new player. Its pretty much me ranting for a bit. Enjoy! Disclaimer: Unable to find information = they got traded somewhere. I will find them until the next article. SMJHL Entry Draft Round 1 1: Quebec City Citadelles (via STL) - Konstantin Selich 216 TPE First overall and seems like a super safe pick to choose. SHL GM with multiple successful players and a member of the 2K club. He will be a very good player for a very long time to come. 2: Nevada Battleborn - Melvin Majestik-Moose 228 TPE Bill Gates of the draft really. You don't joke around with 100m$ as a new player. Also writes excellent articles. Lets hope he dosent get tired of the game. 3: Anaheim Outlaws (via ANA, via ANC) - Adelie de Pengu 228 TPE And the other moose right behind the first one. 100m$ bank as well. Increadible activity overall and he is everywhere all the time. 4: Carolina Kraken - Tanner Fox 189 TPE GM for LA Panthers, 4 cups and a huge bank account to his name. Still hungry? 5: Carolina Kraken (via VAN) - Patya Perevalov 193 TPE Very active new player. Will count rubels for many seasons in the SHL. I like his articles and the RP. 6: Nevada Battleborn (via MET) - Willie Miller 234 TP Almost overaged for the draft so very strong TPE game, i really like this pick. Good levels of activity. 7: Colorado Raptors - Gabe-Gooney-Waters Harrak 205 TPE Big boss himself. This is of course guaranteed success for the Raptors. 8: Newfoundland Berserkers - Jannik Nordstern 221 TPE GM for Minnesota. Big bank and great activity. 9: St. Louis Scarecrows (via QCC) - Sam Stone 212 TPE Used to be a GM for 25 seasons in St. Louis. That is pretty insane. Right back where he belongs now. 10: Detroit Falcons (via NLB) - Clem Fandango 226 TPE Returning player. High activity now but has stopped playing before. This pick feels like a potential risk. 11: Anaheim Outlaws (via ANC) - Dobby Hintzskanen I am unsure whats going on here, he has been offline for 2 days and got a really wonky update thread. And has been on the VAN roster? I am confused. 12: Kelowna Knights - Leons Briedis 223 TPE An absolute stud as a new player. This guy will be very very good. Round 2 13: Nevada Battleborn - Doug Glatt 223 TPE I really like that movie, I do. But i don't see any points allocated to fighting. That has to be fixed ASAP. 14: Carolina Kraken (via STL) - Atticus Hale 201 TPE Think we got an artist here, very crisp and nice graphics. Article looking good as well. Wow, check that out. 15: Vancouver Whalers - Conner Tanner 219 TPE Edmonton GM with multiple cups. He also gave up his own salary this season so the real rookies could earn more. We shall not disappoint you. 16: Newfoundland Berserkers (via ANA, via MET) - Archangelo Scaradog Jr. 219 TPE Another GM, this time from Manhattan. Winning pick, can't go wrong. 17: Kelowna Knights (via ANA) - Tomas Zadina 226 TPE Staff member and multiple decorations. 2K club and 3 cups. Insane pick at number 17. 18: Carolina Kraken - Grogu Mandosson Unable to find information. 19: Quebec City Citadelles - Samuel Kjellsson 215 TPE Returning old player with a goalie in the HOF. Very solid pick, surprised he wasnt picked earlier. 20: Colorado Raptors - Hans Graf 187 TPE This seems like a very mature player. Someone give this man some graphics! 21: Carolina Kraken (via ANC, via DET, via ANA) - Ellis Lee 190 TPE High activity on this guy. I owe him a new suit, without ketchup. 22: Kelowna Knights (via NLB) - Petra Sabor 177 TPE Good levels of activity, but 22th overall? She must have something extra in the locker room. 23: Anchorage Armada - Towelie 221 TPE GM for czechoslovakia and leauge MVP one year ago. Reunited the country again? Must be pro. 24: Anaheim Outlaws (via KEL) - Björn Viggosson 219 TPE Three time HOF, 6 cups and 2K club and a staff member. Pretty insane. Round 3 25: Maine Timber (via NBB) - Randy Marsh 193 TPE Looks like a promising prospect. Hopefully he might increase his fighting skills. 26: St. Louis Scarecrows - Spicy MacHaggis 170 TPE I love that name, but i can't see why he got drafted this early. 27: Nevada Battleborn (via NLB, via VAN) - Wing Wang 218 TPE I was reading somewhere that the first thing he did when coming to Vegas was doing cocaine and visiting multiple bars, that means he will be an excellent left winger. 28: Maine Timber - Rusty Remao 217 TPE New player with some good activity so far. Very promising! 29: Kelowna Knights (via ANA) - Duncan Mackenzie 201 TPE High activity guy with a great username. Good season ahead. 30: Carolina Kraken - Eddie Kastraba 215 TPE Veteran player, this is a solid pick. High activity since returning. 31: St. Louis Scarecrows (via QCC) - Steve Collins 188 TPE Nice new player, making articles and putting in some good effort. Drafted one round to early? 32: Colorado Raptors - Donald Jr Trump 212 TPE Follow this man on twitter. Just saying. And please, always stay in character! Bring that cup. 33: Nevada Battleborn (via DET) - Peanut Butter 223 TPE Very solid new player, high activity on the forums. This pick will most likely be a total steal as seasons pass. 34: Kelowna Knights (via NLB) - Sean Stevenson III 226 TPE Veteran player with huge experience here. A great pick late round. 35: Vancouver Whalers (via ANC) - Landon Fischermann 219 TPE Performed really good during the prospects cup pre draft. An absolute powerhouse of a player. 36: Kelowna Knights - Jason Playstation 155 TPE Veteran player with mixed amounts of activity. Looks like a bust sadly. Round 4 37: Nevada Battleborn - Ahlo Kysoka 212 TPE A revived dinosaur, has a cup from S3 (!). Here to stay? 38: Maine Timber (via STL) - Big Newff 193 TPE Have some nice articles already. Will be good. Great activity. 39: Vancouver Whalers - Darwin Koff 199 TPE Oh right. This is me. Follow me on twitter for more rants. 40: Maine Timber - Michael Robertson 173 TPE Tried out the game once before. Maybe works out better this time around? 41: Quebec City Citadelles (via ANC) - Austin MacWard 215 TPE This is a new guy to SHL. Solid activity and hopefully here to stay. 42: Maine Timber (via CAR) - Ida-mae Mann 176 TPE I was quite surprised during the draft how low this player dropped. Will be a good player for many seasons. 43: Quebec City Citadelles - Mattias Zetterstrom Unable to find information. 44: Colorado Raptors - Jamal Nightingale 197 TPE Returning player. Slow and steady casual gameplay. 45: Nevada Battleborn (via DET) - Sam Siege 176 TPE Seems like a casual player, for some reason his update page states him as a S60 draftee. 46: Detroit Falcons (via NLB) - Albert Luck 201 TPE Returning player. High risk, high reward. 47: Carolina Kraken (via ANC) - Vincent Fox No update thread, with some assistance this guy could be a steal. Just need a bit help. 48: Detroit Falcons (via KEL) - Aka Ralfonso 191 TPE Relaxed returning player. Another casual most likely. Round 5 49: Vancouver Whalers (via KEL, via NBB) - Giannis Kroustis 176 TPE To quote fischer, "The freak from greek" is an absolute steal this late in the draft. 50: Quebec City Citadelles (via STL) - Porg Garros 168 TPE New player, not online for almost a week. Early bust? 51: Nevada Battleborn (via VAN) - Jalal ad-Din Afinogenov 189 TPE Unsure here, negative bank and lots of low effort claims together with hidden information. Most likely a bust. 52: Maine Timber - Luka Kovacsova 184 TPE He has published a 12,000 word article. Pretty epic, check it out. You might need some glasses. 53: Anaheim Outlaws - Adriano Donini 204 TPE Very solid player, 2K club and 3 cups. I have no clue why this guy is drafted so far down. 54: Carolina Kraken - Meeka Keprosoft 197 TPE This could be a really great pick. If he manages to keep up. So far he does that. 55: Quebec City Citadelles - Pudge Gortz 174 TPE Pretty sure this guy was quite good during the showcase. Decent activity, even wrote an article! 56: Colorado Raptors - Max Manning 190 TPE Brand new spanking player. High potential here, possible steal. 57: Detroit Falcons - Clifford Wilson 180 TPE Declining activity detected, hopefully he will wake up. 58: Newfoundland Berserkers - Olov Larsson Unable to find information. 59: Anchorage Armada - Bob Hart Unable to find information. 60: Kelowna Knights - Sebastian Weiss 172 TPE Offline for a few days currently, returning player with some mixed results. Round 6 61: Nevada Battleborn - Jake Suthermer 172 TPE Nope. Offline for a week 62: Kelowna Knights (via STL) - Scott Thorn 188 TPE This looks very promising for being such late in the draft. Potential steal. 63: Vancouver Whalers - SKIPPED 64: Anaheim Outlaws (via MET) - SKIPPED 65: Anaheim Outlaws - SKIPPED 66: Carolina Kraken - SKIPPED 67: Quebec City Citadelles - Alex DeBeste 160 TPE Basic level of activity, seems like a very casual player. 68: Colorado Raptors - Kristián Ženatík 173 TPE Update thread set and ready, but will he stay? Feels like a sporadic player. 69: Detroit Falcons - Kiya Daz 185 TPE Returning player. Very random amounts of activity. Multiple cups. 70: Kelowna Knights (via NLB) - Tim Rocker 174 TPE I doubt this guy will stick around for very long. 71: Anchorage Armada - PASSED 72: Kelowna Knights - Zachary Berdan Unable to find information. With the positive response and massive amounts of views compared to other J-media there will be weekly updates applied to this. Most likely expanded to top 20 and some general information about the past week.
If you can make graphics similar to this please hit me up on discord if you are interested to help me out with the upcoming posts. Hopefully these articles will be some kind of benchmark to the next SHL draft.
