Long time ago since I joined and i can't remeber it anymore. But I still have names like McZehrl, Clitsome, Russell on my mind. They have been pretty good at that time.

For juniors there wasn't really a role model for me as I fast took a top spot on the team after Claude got traded. But I think in general someone like Lokitonov (or how you spell it) was hot and top fantasy pick when I started to care about SHL
I definitely did not have a player I wanted to model Jonathan Granström after since I created him to be a sim league version of the real Jonathan Granström.
For me, it was the entire St. Louis Scarecrow locker room. I was a first timer and without them, I wouldn't still be here, fighting tooth and nail against regression. For players that I strived to be like, Tiggole Bitties was a dominant force on the defensive side of the game, so he was always the player I wanted mine to be as good as.
i always wanted to emulate myself after Gabriel Johnson. He was always someone I looked up to as a person who always could be relied upon to ruin the fortunes of a franchise.
Jordan Nugent Hall was the dunce that brought me into this league. Unfortunately, he's continued to be the reason that I stick around. He was my first hero. I regret that decision.
wow looking back at the beginning of my career, the player I wanted to idolize the most was Lyle Odelein III, he was just a beat on the defensive side of the ice, and carried my fantasy team a couple times.
I look up to legendary Kraken defenseman Vincent Fox. He's just so cool and hot and funny and hot and I just wanna be more like him. Vincent Fox carries the Kraken.
Having watched many Calgary Dragons games in my infancy due to my father being a big Dragon fan, I definitely had the great Mike Izzy in my mind when training to become a hockey player.
When I was just a young goalie, on my first player, I looked up to Jakob Tanner and the Aittokallio's. Both of these players (and their users) were huge impacts on my creation as a player. For my current player, I definitely looked up to both Karl Krashwagen (and still do) and Aaron Wilson. I think their styles of play are very conducive to a team winning!
I never emulated anyone in particular. Everyone who's familiar with me knows that I've only really used the help of recommendations made by others in order to improve my player. That might be why I'm more known for locker room shenanigans than anything else but eh.

Former Players: Yoshimitsu McCloud (LW, #64) - Won a Four Star Cup once, knew ninjutsu, picture editors hated him, never tried free agency
Anton Harrier (LW, #90) - Won WJC gold, liked skateboarding a lot, went to the finals with Manhattan, kept his seat glued in LR
I didn't start out trying to emulate any specific player in the SHL (mostly because I didn't really know any of them), but Jean-Paul Boivin ended up being a pretty cool cat. A winger that can skate hard to the dirty areas of the ice, hit things, and get those greasy points? What's not to love?
When starting my career in the SHL I could only hope to emulate one of the great sin Minnesota, legendary blueliner Garbanzo. The pure dominance is something I don't know if I will ever be able to match, but I can only keep improving and hope to get in a good spot to get close
Jason Visser. As far as people told me, he is "SHL Gretzky", so I want emulate himself lol. Also I would like to be as dominant as Mario Lemieux was his prime time for sure.
