As the fog clears and the ice crew begins to clean up after the end of the season, they spot a cylindrical jar under the center ice dot. As the man wiped the residual snow off the label, it read clear as day: "Pickle Juice, drink in emergency".

Someone in San Francisco needs to brush up on their good luck charm lore. You know how they say a rabbit's foot is good luck? Ya, some dude thought a lion's foot would work since it's the Pride logo.

For some unknown God forsaken reason, the Tampa Bay Barracuda decided to bury Michael Fitted's jockstrap at center ice. This meant that Michael Fitted played the entire season without wearing one. Gross.

we have put at least 5 cans of beans in the ice under the opposing team's goalie to curse them. The beans could be cooked or not, who knows, only one way to find out.

The team decided to freeze a special image of Hank and Carl in Los Angeles gear. They keep the Panthers smiling all season long, and probably give us a fair amount of good luck too. Also it's fun to see how much they've grown by the end of the season.

Well I would state that the good luck charm we chose clearly hasn’t worked because we lost in the playoffs again. But I would say because we are the Forge it would probably have been like a little bit of metal or something, whatever it was tho we are changing it up next season

Could it be anything other than cheese? Of course it is cheese. The real question is - what kind of cheese? String cheese? A block of mozzarella? Or is it a hard to find locally made cheese from Detroit? I suppose we'll have to wait for the reveal to find out.

Being hungover and unable to walk, let alone freeze something under the ice, following the team beginning of training camp party, the team completely forgot to freeze a good luck charm under the ice. Clearly, this was the reason they missed the playoffs.

One of the Atlanta Inferno rink staff, a steward named Andrew, had never seen the Inferno lose. Every game he worked, Atlanta won. Before the season, the Atlanta players decided to freeze Andrew under the ice as a good luck charm. Has Andrew held up alright? I really hope so.

We put Hamlet and Yosh's underwear under the ice with their names on them for all the fans to laugh at. They were in perfect condition when the ice crew pulled them up and we made the rookies wear them for a night as rookie initiation.

This season the Winnipeg Aurora players all pitched in and purchased a 200-foot long cardboard cut-out of Barney the dinosaur to freeze beneath the entire length of the home rink ice.

The legend of the lucky banana, known for being the verification word and validation word for my Arsene Leclerc. Buried under the logo at center ice to bring good luck to all. The bananas come out of the ice every time they redo the ice, and the staff give Leclerc back his bananas so he can make the team some banana bread.

As the ice at Chase Center gets melted, the arena crew would probably be surprised to find a VHS copy of The Lion King encased in the ice.

This year the Battleborn tried to freeze a piece of a sweater made from the hair of a group of rams who had become the leaders of their area. They wanted this sweater to impart the dominance that those rams had shown on their region
