I've been messing around with AI stuff all morning, and I thought I'd enter a few prompts into novelai.net to generate media. I don't expect to be paid for this, but I thought it was fun. I'll underline my portions of the text, the rest is AI!
======Begin========
Tom Fiddler, elite two-way forward for the tampa bay barracuda, laces up his skates in the locker room. It's game 7 of the conference finals against the toronto stars, the most important game of his career. He is nervous but excited at the same time as he walks out onto the ice with his teammates ready to win it all. After a long and grueling series, this game will decide whether they go on to the Challenge Cup or not. Tom goes over some final pointers with his coach before taking the ice one last time.
"Let's go boys!" Coach yells out from behind the bench as the lights begin to dim. The raucous crowd begins chanting "BARRACUDA! BARRCUBA!" as Tom takes his position at center ice. His line mates, Michael Fitted and James Ronlain, line up in their respective positions. The puck is dropped. The ref blows his whistle and the game begins.
The first period flies by fast. They play a defensive minded game and take care of business when they get chances. As the second period starts, the leafs start to come alive. They score early and then keep pushing for more. Barracuda goalie, Riku Niemi, keeps them off the board until late in the 2nd when a shot finds its way past him. However, they hold on to the lead going into the 3rd.
Their lead quickly becomes a deficit. The leafs tie the game halfway through the 3rd. Then, another goal puts them ahead. Before they can pull away again, Tom scores the tying goal bringing the game within reach. With just under 5 minutes left, the barracuda have a powerplay.
"FUCK THE PENALTIES", shouts Michael Fitted, taking the ice. "We need goals."
The team feeds the puck to him as he moves down the ice. He has the puck on his stick as the defense backs off and leaves him alone in the zone. A defenseman gets too aggressive trying to stop him and Fitted knocks him down. Now he is free to skate toward the net unencumbered. As the goalie sees Fitted coming down, he dives down low to try and cut off the angle. Unfortunately for him, he misses and Fitted slides right between the legs of the goalie and scores.
The arena erupts in cheers and chants, as the game is surely won. But there are still 3 minutes to play. [the bolded text is me deleting what it had written and giving it a new prompt, as it had thought there were 4 periods of play]
"Come on boys! Let's finish them off!" Coach yells as the clock winds down.
Just as the horn sounds ending the 3rd period, another shot from the leafs hits the post. The Barracuda advance to the Challenge Cup finals! More cheers and applause shake the foundations of the arena.
"Fuckin' hell," says Coach as the buzzer sounds.
As we walk off the ice after the game, Coach runs up to me. "Tommy! That was one hell of a game!"
"Thanks Coach. We're excited to play the cup finals."
He gives my shoulder a pat and walks back to the bench. The arena empties out as players head for the locker rooms and fans head to the exits. But the celebration doesn't stop there. The entire city is celebrating! Everyone is walking around in Barracuda gear and dancing, singing, and drinking. Everywhere you look there are people having fun.
