I don't know how possible it is with the FHM engine, but personally I would LOVE to see a Skills Competition happen. The classics: fastest skater, hardest shot, shooting accuracy. The good stuff.

I barely get a chance to watch season streams, usually get to throw on the playoff ones when I can. I have 0 interest in watching the All star stream sorry.

I'd like to see a fighting competition. Fighting is really what hockey is all about right? So just get the biggest tough guys in there, take away the puck, and make them figure out the winner. No rules. No coffin. Just wet, wet mud.

Lets do some really uncomfortable player interviews. Maybe contests for themed jerseys sort of like the ASG logo. I'm not sure what else to recommend... maybe a 50/50 drawing for the stream? Similar to a real life game; attendees (people watching the stream) can buy in ahead of time. Funds are withdrawn before the game, but the winner HAS to be present (watching) in order to win.

We should make all the all stars play a completely random multiplayer game against each other that has nothing to do with hockey. Honestly I don't really have a good idea.

Let's get all the all-stars selected into a pool and then nominate two players and let them draft players to their teams. This could be entertaining and lead to players from the East and West playing together for the first time.

I understand the struggle Egg is going through as previous All-Star Head. We did have an all-star competition "simmed" in an old NHL 2k game, but it was so much work. Really excited for the new All-Star week idea tho!

I'd like to see mascot skills competitions and something even wilder: A competition to determine the fastest Zamboni driver. Maybe give some love to the people who clear the snow off the ice during breaks as well they deserve some recognition! How about a contest to see who clears snow quickest?

Adam Liebold would love to see the players made and simmed in an NHL 23 game but I think that would be a ton of work so I understand thats probably not feasable.

If commentary isn't in the cards for anything else, we should at least do it for ASG, to really make the game stand out. Record the ASG sim ahead of time, add commentary, make it a whole thing.

Or try to take the ASG player stats and translate them to an entirely different sim engine. Yeah, you're an SHL all-star, but let's see how you do in OOTP Baseball or Football Manager.

The only way I’d tune in is if they brought in Taylor Swift. Otherwise you won’t see me there - also because I’m not good at hockey so I wouldn’t be at the all star gamep

I'll be honest, I generally don't watch streams. But, I think that having all-rookie teams or something be a part of the showcase might make some things interesting. I remember back in the day when the NBA would have a rookie showcase be a team of rookies v sophomores. Maybe make it be something like that or just divide some up between divisions. Or a rookie SHL all-stars against overage SMJHL all-stars.

Honestly, I do not watch the all-star games at all and I can’t see myself watching the streams for it, I enjoy seeing the results and the box scores but watching the in game product leaves a lot to be desired, which is more on FHM than anything else.
