Hello everyone, RQG here with the first casino report of hopefully many. This is the most recent one, from last season. I have listed the casino line projected win totals for each team, and how they performed, checking to see if they went over or under the total and by how much. Vegas lines are always pretty sharp, and I know we don’t have a true “vegas” system here in the SHL, this game comes down to a bunch of numbers at the end of the day, and I’m sure the lines are projected using the sim itself and a bunch of analytics. It is always interesting to see which are spot on and which are off base. It happens, we’re all human. Well, except the literal mathematical algorithms I guess, but oh well, point still stands. My goal is to look at seasons past and hopefully find trends in which teams constantly overperform or underperform, and which waffle back and forth. Maybe we’ll find no trends at all. Perhaps you will use the history to hammer the over or under next season, and I may be able to find a cumulative total for each team to quantify what they’ve done. I don’t know how many seasons I’ll do, but stay tuned!
