Every season since moving over to the States from Italy, Luca has been involved in a great Italian food celebration. This year he is attempting to bake a giant pizza with all donations going to local children's hospitals.

Taschen Messer prefers the quiet approach. He loves attention on the ice, but prefers to keep a low profile outside of the game. His most visible public work is helping out with hockey camps hosted by the Barracuda or by his teammates. However, since he's been in Tampa, a few people every year with chronic health conditions receive phone calls from local hospitals that their burdensome medical bills have completely disappeared. Despite significant effort by local news organizations, so far no one has managed to trace this back to Taschen, and that's the way he prefers it.

Adam Liebold likes to work with the stride foundation an vouleteers every summer to help kids with disabilities learn how to ride a bike. He encourages all his teammates to participate as well. Its a great experience.

Nash would organize an adopt a pet day where all the fans of the Detroit Falcons and the Buffalo Stampede would come to adopt local pets in the area. This is something near and dear to Nash's heart as a dog himself. What a way to spread joy to others through animals and do some good in the community!
