Ty Murphy's trick is to completely buy into it. He will show up wearing nothing but felt and fur, with a platinum chain and a golden AK-74. Particularly the AK-74 so that he has a thicker receiver for all the running and gunning he does on the ice. What caliber you may ask? Obviously 7.62x39mm. None of that 5.45 bullshit, thirty caliber and higher only for his golden hands. Who gives a shit if 7.62x39mm is outdated, its massed produced more than any round on the planet. Cheaper bullets = more bullets = more running and gunning baby. Lets get after it sniping pucks top chedder on these tendies. Doesn't matter what stadium he's in, he will play his heart out and be the fan favorite every single night. On balance, off balance, doesnt matter. Hes better than you, ohhhh yeaaahhhh. The cream always rises to the top. Always.

Prompt 2:
Ace Lightning keeps an even keel thanks to his satanic beliefs. With all the crazy stuff happening in his hockey season, as well as in the world today, it’s really good to turn to religion. If you don’t know, satanists really love metal and rock music, which Ace listens to very frequently and quite loudly to tune everyone out. Slayer is one of his favourites. He also likes art. To calm his nerves, there is quite a lovely art place down the road from the arena which mostly has pictures of cats, but there is a secret room which is dark and has late 1700s European paintings of Satan on different rock formations. It’s all quite Avon garde as they say. Ace also enjoys watching car accident videos on YouTube. Nothing gruesome, just minor fender benders, but it certainly helps him sleep at night. He also collects stamps, but again, he is one of the most angry players in the league so maybe it’s not helping.

The whole atmosphere is really different when you play in a college arena. The proximity with the fans is unmatched by a standard arena and the few tickets available aer bought by real fans who really wish to be there, so of course the atmosphere is absolutely electric. Since the fans are closer to the action, you can really their energy and that is exactly what Kaapo Kampainen feeds on. As I previously said, he does not necessarily enjoy playing in a college-level arena, but more because not everyone who wants to be there gets the chance to go to the game since there's so few tickets available. So in short, he doesn't really mind playing in the college arena, he likes the energy and the proximity, but he would not necessarily choose to play there every single night if he had the choice as nothing beats almost twenty thousand fans screaming at the top of their lungs when you score an overtime winner.

For Meowski keeping the game the same is something that he has worked on perfecting even before he was drafted in the SMJHL. There is a very good point that playing in foreign countries can be scary and a very atmosphere. For him its all about his pregame routine whether it is a home game or an away game. For him he tries to split them because other than playing hockey, the atmosphere is next the same from a home game to an away game.
Most away games, the team stays in a hotel. Even though every hotel room does has a different layout, he tries to put his stuff in the same place. That way every away game day begins the same whether it is in a foreign country or just in Baltimore. Starting off his day correctly and controlling the narrative is what he does to stay focused. By beginning each day the same he is able to keep the narrative that this just another away game. Even things may change, no routine is perfect ,even if hockey players are creatures of habit and superstition. Because he accepts that, if he controls that narrative and believes that each day will be a good day and that each away game will be a good away game, he sets himself up for success. And having a point per game season is definitely a recipe for success.

As a player, I can certainly appreciate the unique atmosphere of playing in a college stadium. The energy and passion that college fans bring to the game can be infectious and create an exhilarating experience. The smaller, more intimate setting allows for a closer connection between the players and the fans, making it an enjoyable and memorable experience.
One of the craziest incidents that might result in a fan being kicked out of the stadium could involve excessive taunting or unruly behavior towards opposing players or officials. College fans can be known for their spirited chants and creative jeers, and while most of it is in good fun, there may be instances where the line is crossed. What makes playing in a college stadium different and potentially memorable is the passionate and dedicated fanbase. College fans often bring a sense of enthusiasm and loyalty that can rival or even surpass that of professional sports. The close-knit community, school spirit, and youthful exuberance add an extra layer of excitement to the games.

It really does not matter where the game is played, once it starts. So once the game gets going you really don't have time to notice a ton going on outside the ice. The guys with the tracksuits and guns are just like any other spectator in the heat of the moment. That does not discredit the fact that it does do a lot to you mentally before and after the game not to mention plays hell for anyone politically involved with whats going on here. I feel for the teammates who have family from this area of the world and what they have to go through mentally coming here. It's hell and it's not fair to them or anyone else on the team. So it comes down to if you play or not or take a stand. But as far as being mentally ready for the game, during it there's no difference once you get into it. That threat does linger in the back of your mind though, you have to really try to focus on the game to really suppress that fear and that hatred for the issue.

Player Prompt:
I think Bobby keeps an even keel by NOT keeping an even temperament on the ice, because no matter who is in the crowd or the stands, people love watch tough. Physical hockey being played as well as silky smooth dangles mixed in, and Bobby aims to bring the best of both worlds on that front. Focussing on the ice, chirping other players, is a part of the game, and if you can’t handle that kind of shit talk while playing hockey, you’re fuckin CHarmin ultra-soft buddy. Now, that’s not to say Bobby wouldn’t be having words with the owner after the entirety of the Hamilton Steelhawks were forced to play in Belarus for shady reasons, risking the team and their safety in the process, but the mental trick is to go out there and cause chaos and fun, because if your mind is off the ice, you’re gonna be eating ice. 152 words

Written Task: Fact is, the game is the same no matter where it's played. Home, away, outdoor, that one weird exposition game in Belarus that you're pretty sure your owner was blackmailed into putting on, your player's job doesn't change. So, how does your player keep an even keel? What's their trick for mental reset and maintaining focus on their game despite the men with tracksuits and AK47s hanging out at the vending area? (150+ words)
The best way to be ready for any game is to set your expectations at the start of your career. If you practice on making it a purposeful split you should be able to get to a place where you can do whatever you want off the ice and as soon as you put your skates on and step into the cold you SNAP into a professional demeanor. There are many forces outside the game that are said to affect the way a player plays, but none of those matter when the game is on the line. Dog died, keep it off the ice. Credible threats, keep it off the ice. You are being paid to be professional, and if you can't make the swap then you aren't cut out for the sports life. That is the truth of the matter. If you still want to play after all that, then you might want to look at different techniques that would help you calm down. Drink a beer, have a teammate smack you in the face, dump some ice cold water on your head, get a bigger gun, etc.

Player Prompt
Ray is able to keep calm and relax in any environment, simply because he is an ignorant fool who has no grasp on the concept of danger, ray has the IQ of a dyslexic orangutan and knows nothing but the sport of hockey. Ray plays the exact same in all environments because he also doesn't have an understanding on what environment means, he thinks he's always playing in the same arena, that it just looks different. The transition from the SMJHL in small town Yukon to large market Los Angeles will be a very difficult transition for ray, but he will get through it, and maybe get his IQ above 25 in the process. Ray doesn't need to maintain his composure over different locations cause he doesn't even know that there are more places than Yukon in the world, he doesn't even notice the fact that the bus and planes they use for transport actually move, he just sees them as the big metal houses that the team hangs out in [176 words]

Just-To has never been to college himself, it is actually the very first time he steps foot on any kind of college property without immediately feeling sick and vomiting everywhere, which is very weird to him. He used to have a terrible allergy to any kind of school and learning, but spending so much time with his teammates who have learnt how to speak, write and read seems to be starting to have an influence on him, it looks like. Not once did he even suffer from a fit of dance and konchés konchés, so something really changed in him lately. The game was going well until a bunch of students, from the engineering department who is well known to party way harder than is reasonably acceptable in any circumstance, started rocking a pane of plexi back and forth until it ended up breaking clean in two pieces and the game had to be stopped for a while. These guys are going to design bridges later.

Playing on the road is always different from playing at home. From the atmosphere in the rink to the pregame routine, a professional player needs to be ready and able to adjust on the fly to whatever situation they're in, and Justin Time is no different. For home games, the routine is easy and comfortable. When the morning alarm goes off at 7, he gets up and heads to the rink for practice. After that, most of the Blizzard roster hang around the rink for a bit, studying film or just chatting to pass the time. Then it's back home for a pregame nap, back to the rink a few hours before puck drop, and business as usual. On the road, the routine starts at the hotel, and the team spends more time together between practice and game time. Long road trips can turn in fun vacations for the team, as long as they're playing well, but game day is game day, wherever you are.

Well when Dusty would feel the puck drop It felt like amateurs all over again as he never played college hockey thanks to the SMJHL that allowed him to develop and he had heard of the level of play in college there had been. So He was absolutely ecstatic, It allowed him to experience something he never has gotten to as the fans were just so much closer and just felt like It wasn't the pros anymore, but just that stage in your life where you look to prove yourself. Dusty would come back to reality of course and realize they are in the SHL and need to win some games. so he actually makes time to watch college hockey games here when he can just to feel the energy of what its like with actual amateurs on the ice. Dusty Is ecstatic for the new arena to be built, but this completes a life goal of his.

First prompt and god damn this bloody new arena seems to be too much trouble by this point cause the amount of issues or situations it has done is adding up.
I feel like we prepared poorly if 1 season has to be played in a random college stadium when we could have timed it to make sure it is just a smooth move like some teams in other sports have done. My player would be fine with playing in a college stadium, the new stadium is going to be hype at least for him but he will play anywhere. I doubt much is different from a national professional league and college level stadium considering the states go really big for that type of stuff with March Madness and the Gridiron Football in college that gets insane. Hell if they played in 1 of the minors for this sim league they'd have great support since a lot of big fan bases and lovely stadiums so it would be fun to see I think. [174 words]
