It would definitely be a good idea. We're out here forcing our elders to keep lacing skates and putting their brittle bodies on the line, its dangerous! Make it a more thoughtful decision to endanger oldies such as Jimmy Wagner or Slip McScruff. Let them enjoy retirement for crying out loud!

Not only would we run out of players for rosters, it would totally suck for people whose players are injured. What's the point of a fake hockey league if you can't watch your fake hockey dot move on the screen?

From a user retention standpoint this would be a complete disaster. Obviously it would add a layer of realism to the league and an extra challenge to GMs, but that is not worth it in my opinion. Although it would be very funny when injuries struck other teams.

Injuries would be a fantastic idea if we were looking to frustrate most users.  But it could also help cause more chaos.  Hmmm, maybe we should try it just during preseason

Turning on injuries is absolutely a terrible idea because if you end up getting unlucky throughout the course of a career or a season that could rob you of precious games that could make or break a HoF career or even make or break the season for a team that has to play without you.

Personally I like the idea as it would add a new dynamic to being a general manager. However I can see why it would be frustrating for the vast majority of the league.

Turning on injuries would just lead to frustration. It would be annoying to miss an entire season due to an injury, especially when regression hits players so quickly. I would however be okay with the league having a manual injury system, where players can randomly miss one game per sim, with a single player missing a max of three games during the season.

Turning on injuries would be a horrible idea, simply for the fact that we don't have enough people to support it. It would screw over junior teams and people would lose interest if their player was out for a long time.

In short, I think we should do it

the shl is my little escape from reality and if we bring the realism of injuries into my escape from reality i will be sad. just let my fake hockey player play a full fake hockey season please

Turning on injuries to a limited extent would be a fantastic idea. It'd add an additional element of randomness that can't be accounted for easily and it'd give more of a use for the sorely neglected stats like aggression.

Turning on injuries would be an awful idea in a sim league for obvious reasons. People losing interest because the player is out for 2 months so they no longer care.

It would be fun until it’s actually your player that gets hurt & you miss a season & earning TPE would be not even worth it. But also some players careers wouldn’t be as long & people won’t be mad I guessp

I can't even imagine if we had injuries on. What would it be like? I can't help but think it wouldn't be that enjoyable. Unless youre someone who gets their kicks from anxiety watching your player with baited breath every shift

I think that allowing injuries would be fascinating in the SHL, but it would require a full minor league system that the SHL simply doesn’t have the user base for. I would love to see it though eventually.
