i was eating earlier today, and i was really hungry and excited to eat, and i guess somehow in my excitement i accidentally bit my lip while eating. which was pretty lame, but it got me thinking. how do you even accidentally bite your lip? like i need to open my mouth to put the sandwich into the food hole, and this naturally kinda forces your lips outward. like theres no way you actually end up biting your lip unless you intentionally move your lips in between your teeth, which to me, seems to take a conscious effort. it's not like stubbing your toe or something where it can just happen cuz you're not paying attention, i mean the default position is lip well clear of the tooth smash danger zone. so was it like my brain was so super excited about this primo hoagies spicy italian sub that it just started firing neurons randomly and one of them happened to be like, "yeah what if you sucked your lips in right now?" i mean wtf brain, you gotta be better than that.
