I feel like the season went well overall. Carolina had a ton of depth at every position, taking on a ton of draft picks, and really working to build the program through quantity. This means that the top-end talent was less plentiful, and minutes with those top scorers were hard to secure. While my unit produced a good amount of offense and shots, we failed miserably to protect our own zone, and that will be the primary goal for the upcoming season. We need to be suppressing any shots at all if we hope to outscore the opposition, especially if we're playing against higher TPE players. We had some movement internally with some players moving out of the lineup, and this has given players like Agate a shot at a larger role. With my build in place for the upcoming season, the team is hoping she can step into a role befitting of the icetime and TPe she is set to wield.

Let's get this out of the way early I guess, oh man my season was awful I didn't win every major award and the Championship in my first season. How will I go on? Now that the drama is over, I feel like my first season went as I expected. It's always a jump from such a small TPE amount to a reasonable amount for a first year player and development went as well as you could expect. I am building a 'Brooks Orpik' style player and I feel like this season definitely showed that I am well on my way to doing that. Just need to get the toughness and puck-handling up to that standard and I will be golden. I was pretty stoked to start the season playing on the top pairing D-Line with Ondrej and to be honest I feel like that gave me a pretty sizable boost.

Hard to complain about the season in Colorado because... well it's still going! We're in the finals about to face off against Detroit for the Four Star Cup, and that's super exciting. Pinli did a decent job of chipping in throughout the season, especially for a rookie, pulling 27 goals and 46 points in 66 games. It was a tough start to the season but then he really took off about 15 games in and found his groove. This streak has continued into the playoffs where he's continued to put up awesome numbers for a rookie-- 6 goals and 6 assists for 12 points in 17 games (so far). Those aren't MVP numbers or anything but that's a noticable contribution across our 3 series' thusfar. And lets not forget this guys only 17 and 5 foot nothin'. He may never get any taller but he certainly will get better at hockey as the years go on, and hopefully he gets to do it with a rookie season 4 Star Cup to his name.

I wasn't sure what to expect when going into the draft, but when Quebec City moved up to draft me, I knew we'd have an amazing season with the talent they have on the roster. Bellona played on the third pair, which wasn't surprising as he was fresh out of college so you don't really want to be a liability and play hard minutes from the get-go. However I was surprised at getting power play minutes on the second unit. It didn't amount to much, only a single assist throughout the whole season, but I hadn't expected to see any ice time on special units this season. I don't know what my expectations were for my player, of course I wanted to produce and help the team but as I had never made a defenseman before, my expectations weren't that high. Well it turns out that my rookie season was amazing. Bellona finished 2nd in rookie defensemen scoring with 31 points, 2 fewer than leader Olivja Agate. I'm looking forward to seeing what a 350 build can do next season!

Coming in as a rookie, there were few better places (if any) to land as a goalie than Quebec. Thanks to having such reliable teammates and leadership around me, Ju-gong had a better season than I could’ve ever expected. Given the situation at the team, I wanted to be the starter right out of the gates. Still, going on to lead the league in Wins (30-5-6), and top so many key categories as a first-gen rookie goalie was well beyond expectations. My goals for next season are simply to keep improving, to make sure I give my teammates the best chance at winning the rewards they deserve. Already at the 350 cap, the marathon continues to collect the TPE required to help QCC, and my future SHL team get the most reliable goaltender possible. The highlights of this season would 100% be winning the Laurifer and making it to the semi-finals with such a great group – and of course, individually taking in the most Wins (team achievements are always the most important).
Without a doubt I’m looking forward to a few more amazing seasons at QCC and making more memories with some incredible teammates. ![]() Registered Senior Member
Coming into my rookie season, I didn't set any individual goals. I was more focused on getting accustomed to the league and earning the trust of my teammates. Now that my rookie season is almost over, I can safely say it was a big success no matter what happens in the Finals. On an individual level, Salami finished with 24 goals, 20 assists, and a +14 rating. Salami's 24 goals were good for 4th on the team. As Salami goes into next season, one area he'll need to improve is his getting better on the defensive end. His 76 offensive game rating was good for third on the team, but his 61 defensive game rating was bottom three on the team. On a team level, the Detroit Falcons finished third in the league with a 42-20-4 record. In the playoffs, we've been making noise, earning a date with Colorado in the Finals. It was a rookie season to remember, and will only be made better if we can find a way to win it all.

As a two-way winger in hockey, I my player's role Yukon involves both offensive and defensive responsibilities being good in both ends of the ice. To improve my regular season performance for the next season with my 350 build I am planning on focusing on improving my skating including my straight line speed and acceleration to create separation from opponents. I will also improve my agility to enhance my lateral movement and quick direction changes to navigate through traffic effectively. I will also improve my passing in terms of accuracy to improve my passing accuracy for both short and long range passes and vision to develop awareness of my teammates' positions on the ice to make effective plays. I will also upgrade my defensive skills checking to work on my ability to skate hard back to the defensive zone to support my defensemen. I will also seek feedback from Yukon's management to identify areas for further player development.

The rookie season of 6th overall pick Jesus Murphy was, in a word, underwhelming. While it's tough to step into a high level of play and dominate, I think more was expected of the young centreman than He showed. Putting up a modest stat line of 14 goals and 21 assists for 35 points, Murphy was prone to inconsistent bursts of production. With just 113 shots, an average of less than two per game, there is certainly room for significant improvement in terms of offensive creation, especially for a physically imposing player who should be driving pucks to the net and creating havoc in the crease. Murphy did put up nearly 150 hits as a rookie with solid underlying possession numbers, so it seems clear that he is at least impacting the flow of play in a positive fashion even if the production is not quite there, but he'll need to start making a larger contribution in his second season to start justifying his selection in the top 10 of his draft class.

At the start of the season I didnt even have any expectation, I didnt know what to expect from this league and It even looked like I wont get signed as a goalie and would have to change, but in the end QCC took me under their wings and its been great season with them. My rookie played really well so I have no complaints on that. The only reagret I have is being lazy and not doing more posts for TPE, hopefully I can work on that next season and another thing that i feel pretty sad about is not being able to make it to the finals with this team, the whole team is just great experience and I have no complains. I guess the glorious moment of my rookie was getting 6 Shutouts which was the most out of any goalies in SMJHL this season so Iam happy for that and I hope I can do it again next season.

A season of ups and downs for the team overall and Herman Ståhl personally. Last in the league, no draft picks coming into this summer and with 6 players leaving. Not all flowers, if you'd say so. But also a chance for change, redemption and improvement. The goal is not to win now, but to win when Herman enters his final year in the league and for the Scarecrows.
Hermans year for himself. A decent start, a rough stretch following that followed by a fairly strong ending. As for goalies overall, his stats had him as an average goalie overall. Seeing what team he played on, it's not completely unfair to put him in the very middle of all goalies this year. He also recorded his first ever career shutout this past year, a feat not all the goalies in the league could stand for. Next season, the goal is simple. Improvement. ![]() Registered Posting Freak
Inge Baardsen had an interesting rookie season in the SMJHL. He came into the league expected to be a player who was focused on the offensive side of the puck, laying on the goals for teammates. He turned out to be a much more physical player than anyone expected. He isn’t the biggest, most imposing player on the ice, but he proved that he can throw his body around with the best of them, racking up 130 hits with limited ice time, as a member of the 3rd forward line in Regina. He did still have some decent offensive output, considering his limited ice time, with a nicely rounded 10G, 20A for 30 Pts. Going forward, hopefully Baardsen can end up with a bit more ice time, maybe some time on the penalty kill or power play, rack up some more points, and hope even more hits! First, there is the SHL Draft to contend with, and the WJC.

Nathan Abel came midseason from the baseball league PBE, and he joined as a DFA claim for the Anchorage Armada at first it did not go well in the two and a half weeks. In those two and a half weeks I only had 2 points. I was feeling down because I was getting no ice time and I was doing nothing with said ice time. Then the playoffs rolled around and I caught fire. I was shooting 20% and had 8 points in 12 games. In ten minutes of ice time too, I was outperforming all available metrics that existed yet in those ten minutes of ice time I was somehow able to find the back of the net. It was fun to watch every stream that I was tearing it up and it didn't help that we advanced out of the first round. The loss to a Candian team hurt but overall it was a good postseason now I just have to wait for the draft.

All in all, the rookie season for Andrade La Sombra panned out much better than I had any expectations of. I thought La Sombra was going to take a few seasons to really get going, but he came out the gate swinging with a lot of goals for Colorado! While he wasn't the top scoring rookie by any means, it still helped the Raptors make it to the championship game. We didn't capture the cup, as much as I would have liked to, but to have that type of success so early on was something amazing to witness. I really think La Sombra needs to lean into the more defensive side of being a forward, and focus more on his shot accuracy. My main goal is to make La Sombra a threat anywhere on the ice, and I plan on keeping a close eye on the rest of his career from here on out!
