My first season as a user Detroit unfortunately did not make the playoffs. However I do recall Texas celebrating the S62 Challenge cup quite well as a rookie in the room! It was a great group celebrating a big win and I look forward to achieving the same some day!

I was lucky enough to make the playoffs in my rookie season in S51, which also happened to be the last season of STHS. it was a a fun experience, but we ended up losing to anchorage in the finals

Flashback: it's S44. I was surrounded by the rest of Colorado's rookie class. Our GM had just sold off all our veterans to try to build through the next draft (a historic, possibly the largest in league history). We were an island of misfit toys and rookies well over their head, with a veteran goalie. Of course we wouldn't do anything... right?

Right?

The Colorado Raptors Meme Team, led by the one and only Scottey Crawfling went on to defeat our (at that time) archrivals, the Montreal Militia, 4-1. Next up was the superstar laden Detroit Falcons, the league's strongest team at that time. Crawfling went off and depth scoring helped the young Raptors take down the Falcons in Game 7. In the 4 Star Cup Finals, the resurgent St. Louis Scarecrows waited. After vanquishing Detroit, the magic ran out, and STL won their first of 3 straight 4SC in a sweep (4-0).

Still, it was amazing for what it was. If only we could have built off that run in future seasons, but inconsistent goaltending and inconvenient callups tanked that Raptors core.

The first time I experienced the playoffs as a user was great. it was eleven rookies and a handful of Vets against the world. didn't get very far but we weren't suppose to be there anyway so it was great.

The first time I experienced playoffs in the SHL was actually in the SMJHL - does that count? Well either way I think my teams took Loses in both - and they weren't really crushing as both teams were sort of middle of the pack teams but it did start a long line of sim league pain we all learn to endure

I was spoiled as a new users in the league, heading to the finals in 4 straight playoff appearances in the J, with the very first season being a finals loss in our first attempt

It was 84 years ago, my playoff experience. We played some team called the Regina Force. I'm pretty sure we won a series but fuck if I recall. I know I didn't win a cup that season at the most.

Well my first taste of the playoffs was with the Newfoundland Berserkers all the way back twenty seasons ago in S55. Although Podz didn't produce much, he still managed to win a Four Star Cup. Very epic!
