I have not retired an SHL player but just recently retired my ISFL player. It was bittersweet. I was chasing some personal records but decided the RPG element didnt fit anymore (my player would never have agreed to play out of position for stat accumulation).

It was the end of Blue’s career and I thought that he couldn’t do much anymore, his legacy was secured, so might as well hang up the skates and call it a day

I’ll be retiring my goaltender Masked Stanger from the SMJHL in two seasons when he graduates to the SHL. I’m not sure how long an SHL career is but I’m hoping to do a full one.

Atticus Hale is my first player and there are still some personal milestones I'd like to achieve with him. I think the Hall of Fame ship has sailed so I am taking aim at NOLA franchise records among others. Once those are achieved, I'll put Hale's fate in the team. It was like saying goodbye for the last time to an old friend. It was a tough decision because I was damn proud of all I had accomplished and what I had done. I unfortunately did not see anything left to accomplish for Kain Webb, and felt like I was not going to be a big help to the powerhouse Dragons so it was time to let him go.
