Not going to lie, I am not the biggest fan on the new format. I can appreciate that the committee is trying something new in hopes to raise excitement and bring more attention to the all star game. To me it seems like it was an opportunity for the two GMs to select players of users who they are more familiar/friends with. You've got the top goalie in the league for the past few seasons relegated to the skills competition because why? My own player has been top 5 in points the last two seasons, and he has a similar fate to Justin Time. Congrats to everyone that was selected, but as someone who does care about their players success including all star games it stinks to be a top player in the league and not be drafted. Then again at least I was selected as an all star unlike the 2nd person in league scoring who doesn't even get ANY recognition... I dont think it should be the GMs from the last cup final picking, it should be maybe voted on after players are selected.

Nash and Seamus were definitely deserving of making the all-star team. Nash is the best because he’s Nash, nuff said. What’s not to love about that dog. Seamus has been a house hold name for many seasons now, so of course he’s worthy of making the team this season. I’m sure there are more players that deserved to make the team, but these two players definitely earned there spot

Gregorzrzrzrzr, boy that’s quite the name, but was a top contender last season and definitely this season as well, but I believe sir devoir definitely has the advantage here. Sir had an amazing season this year, and it showed all during the playoffs, I believe he was a key part of their success's, so that’s why picking sir.
3. Edouard and Mia Lavoie are like auto All Star gamers. Not only does their play on the ice all but guarantee them a spot in the ASG each season but their work in the locker room and even in the city is a step above and beyond. Each and every season these 2 Rockstar's show up and lead Maine in points score, +/- and every other positive hockey stat there is. Where the really lead is in the locker room though, both are natural leaders in the room and know how to get the most out of their teammates each and every game. This may not assure them a spot in the ASG but its easy to see why their teammates are so eager to pass them the puck and set them up. Mia had a whooping 53 goals last season and Ed ended the year with 37, just maddening numbers from the Timbers number 1 and 2 scorers.

6. This season New Orleans will be hosting the annual SHL Allstar game and we expect it to be a doozie! We will see 2 teams represent the two conferences of the Simulated Hockey League go head to head in a friendly match up of the leagues very best and brightest stars of today and tomorrow. We will be blessed to see the pure skill of some of the best pure hockey players our earth has to offer. Get to watch them work together with slick passes and smooth point shots, all in the goal of tantalizing the needs of the ever faithful fans of our beloved sport. At either end of the ice will be 2 of the best goalies to ever lace them up, with one and one goal only and that is to prevent the red light from activating and making them look a fool to the opposition. Join us on Sunday to witness the skill yourself!
