I've yet to find another place that does it better.
I also don't really look.

I’ll be honest the more times I have to do tasks the more times I check the league, but also the more TPE I can get in one sweep, the less time I have to set aside to do tasks, and the less times I need to get motivated.
I do not think voting on awards should be a league wide thing. Being the head of J Awards (and while I can only speak for my own committee), I have seen first hand what people are putting on their Lindsay ballot (it is either a massive push for themselves, their friends or a “i opened the index and picked the first name with the most points”). And I have also seen first hand on how much work the J committee puts into looking at all player and all stats and reading their reasonings behind their decisions.
There will always be disagreement and people upset regardless of results if it a community or a dedicated committee vote. But as least with a committee you are able to know that there is more effort going into it rather than “this is my best friend” or “i just opened the index once”.
These jobs would not exist if they were not beneficial for the league so I vote if you have an issue in any part of the league then making an effort to get involved in those areas to see behind the scenes and make the change you wanna see.

Not a Commissioner. Shh!
We should all vote on whether a team is allowed to rebrand or not. There have been cases like Minnesota where everyone agrees change is needed. There are others where everyone outside of the team is left scratching their heads. I know some recent rebrandings have left a bad taste in my mouth. Let me vote!
I definitely prefer the double tasks. I remember the days of 1 enormous task and it could be such a mountain to climb, hard to get started and hard to finish. I think the more reasonable 2 separate tasks make the same TPE feel less like a chore.
Voting is great for many things, especially things that bias won't affect. I am cool with us having more site wide votes in general, they help keep people engaged.
As long as the community votes on community things, that's a good thing. Cool things like World Championships and All Star Weekends, that's great; voting on MVPs and what not, awesome; where is the line drawn though? Relocation and rebranding of a team? Possibly yes, or should that just be up to the team itself in conjunction with Head Office? I don't know if community voting extends that far...
Just for funsies I think we should get to vote on the different BoDs and Commissioners, that way I can run campaigns to force @kahri to stay in the BoD forever and she will never be allowed to go IA.

Vote? I mean do we need to vote? I feel like we should maybe be checking the site's opinions more often but leave the power to decide still for the people in power.
I'm not really sure if there's anything else we should allow the community to vote on, like awards, as that usually ends up in popularity contests around the league, which only harms those who do not have the time to put there all into the league. Task changes seem to be a good thing to vote on as it affects everyone.
Gotta say I don't really mind it either way. Combining them is fine, separating them is fine too. Guess the hard part is to go and do them when you lack the time but eh, them's the breaks.
