The newest video game on the scene is SHL78 and they are in the process of designing your player right now! The developers have given you the freedom to give any player a stat or attribute change, and if you really wish, the option to sabotage someone else. What hidden ability is your player going to develop?
25 words minimum!
You will receive 1 TPE for fulfilling all requirements.
This PT will close Sunday, September 1st at 11:59pm PST. Posts submitted/edited after the deadline will receive 0 tpe.

The hidden ability Dejana Kaptina will develop in this new sports video game is that of Aura. For some reason players struggle to hit her - not because they can't catch her, but because she has like a force field around her. Poke checks will be vital to stop her!

The hidden ability for Chuck Stewart ability is simple. He gets big! As a shutdown defenseman, getting bigger than normal has many advantages. His ability to block shots increases drastically as does his ability to hit. Although getting bigger doesn't necessarily contribute to his offensive game, he is extremely tough to score against when his X factor is activated.

dieter frühstück is going to have an x factor ability that allows him to block shots and not lose any stamina or get hurt. he's already one of the league's best shot blockers as a rookie, so it makes sense.

Jauhnne Hawky would have the fire emblem villager treatment, lacking at the start but with the powerful Aptitude skill, granting him bonus growth in all stats, he just needs some investment to get going.

Duke's X-factor is a bit of a double whammy. On the surface it looks like simple "Truculence" and it does indeed improve his hitting ability and cause some stamina loss to his opponent. But the real gem of this ability is that after the opponent peels themselves off the boards/ice and gets back to the bench, every cringy, regretable or embarrassing thing they have ever done comes rushing back and sends them into a spiral the rest of the game.

Yeah, that one time you told the hot waitress/waiter "You too" when they said "Enjoy your meal!" . . . gonna be like you are right back there again!

Kiwi is the best fighter in the league so obviously she gets the Goon perk and doesn't have to go to the penalty box after she wins a fight

Lucas would have an X-Factor that allows him to has strong shooting accuracy as a shooting oriented Dman. And possibly a skill to make him faster, but he wouldn't want to hurt anyone else.

Guy screening your shot? hotdog in the eyes.

Tip Toasty’s X-Factor is similar to the Ghetto Blaster special move on THPS. Toasty pulls out a boom box and blasts music to confuse the D, creating a temporary attribute buff and a boost to all teammates.

Defender Barcus Juneau is looking for an edge in defending. His super power would be the ability to predict how a forwards dekes: when is a feint just a feint, and when is it a true move?  That sounds pretty hard to code into a video game, but those programmers are smart, they'll figure it out.

Nanashi Mumei’s hidden ability is to send fear down opponents spines, as when she has the puck, opponents would simply stay out her way and defend any player she passes to.
