Hello friends and enemies! It’s been a while! For those who are unaware, I am Fishy, Co-GM of the Colorado Raptors. For those that are aware, you know what you did.

Today I am proud to announce the return of something I’ve wanted to bring back for a while, Raptors Team Awards. After a very successful draft, I believe it to be the perfect time to bring it back. This will hopefully be part of my grander scheme of keeping up with Raps team history to a more full extent. So without further ado, let’s get right into it.

The Bo Kane Trophy - Awarded to the top offensive forward

Our points leader for the season and winner of the Bo Kane Trophy is Baron Samedi! @Baron Yeah, fuck off buddy we absolutely need more Samedi clips. Fuckin every time this kid steps on the ice someone scores. kids fuckin dirt nasty man. Does fuckin Mutou have 44 goals this season I dont fuckin think so bud. I'm fuckin tellin ya Baron "golden flow" Samedi is pottin 50 in '79 fuckin callin it right now. Clap bombs, fuck moms, wheel, snipe, and fuckin celly boys fuck.

Scottey Crawfling Bowl - Awarded to the Playoff MVP

Even though the playoffs didn’t end the way the Raptors hoped, we still had a solid run. I’m proud to award the Scottey Crawfling Bowl to Král King! @Blastmeaway
With 18 points in our 13 playoff games, including a pair of goals in our first round game 7 victory over the Carolina Kraken, King was instrumental in pushing the team further in the postseason.

The Aleksandr Aleksandrov Trophy - Awarded to the top goaltender

The award for our top goaltender goes to Timo Leppanen! Timo was excellent between the pipes for us, stealing quite a few games we thought we were out of. Any time you have a goalie like that backing you up, it helps take the pressure off.

The Kristoffer Ruud Trophy - Awarded to the top defenseman

This award goes out to a defenceman who truly carried our blue line this season. None other than Cadmael Ixazluoh! @Vice We’re lucky to have someone of your calibre on the squad, and will look forward to your mentorship of our new rookies who will be joining you on the back end!

The Cassius Darrow Trophy - Awarded to the most outstanding rookie

The winner of the most outstanding rookie for the Colorado Raptors is Normand Marineau! @jason97 So capable from the moment we selected you in the draft. We’re so glad to have you aboard and are excited to see what you accomplish in your 2nd year with the club.

The Nick Brain Trophy - Awarded to the top two-way forward

Our top Two-Way forward for the season is Raw Cheese McPickle! @Belmont Always willing to lay down the body whether it’s getting hot and heavy with the other team, or taking lots of rubber all over, McPickle was never backing down.


The Zinaida Titova Trophy - Awarded to the Seasonal MVP

Our team MVP is none other than Baron Samedi! @Baron Talk about putting a team on your back. There are lots of incredible qualities about Baron, but his willingness to show out for the team is tops of the league.


Our final two team awards, I will talk about at the same time, because they were won by the same person.

The Alexander Zajac Trophy - Awarded to the most dedicated player

The Troy McClure III Troyphy - Awarded to the player that best exemplifies team leadership

I’m so incredibly glad to have McExplosion in the locker room. When I think of a player who gives his all for the team, a player who leads by example and lifts everyone else up, a player who would (and has) killed for his team, I think of Nathangus McExplosion. I’m so glad to have had you on the team for these last four seasons, and can’t wait to see what you do in the SHL. Forever a Raptor.
