FOR: Max Carnage will win second Mexico in row

Why am I for this? Simple. It is because Max Carnage is my GOAT! 50 goals in 50 games last season, century mark at the 50th game mark. He’s going to be FUEGO again!

FOR: 7 teams from Southern Conference will finish regular season in top 10.

It's not the best season for the North, again. The main reason this doesn't happen is if the South mostly beats up on itself, again, but the South only missed this by one team last year and Carolina was figuring it out near the end of the season.

Against Montreal wins the cup. They spent the last few seasons intentionally tanking in order to get the best players possible, they dont deserve to win anything. At least thats how I fee about it and wish that shit didnt happen.

Against Montreal wins the cup. Why? The pressure of the Canadian SHL team is huge. It is too much for the players, I guess. If they would have added more experience during offseason, then I would believe in them but not now unfortunately.

Against Anchorage makes it to the Four Star Cup finals

Anchorage has a solid team of young players and did well in the regular season last year, but in the playoffs the pressure got to be too much. I think the young players have to get over the mental side of the playoffs, and last year’s first round sweep will haunt them this year.

For: Montreal wins the cup.

With absolutely zero bias whatsoever, I am fully confident that Montreal can go an a Cinderella run and win the big one. Huge team full of active players who are all earning well and pushing for greatness. It’s everything you could ask for. Pure cinema.

For: Nola makes it to the cup

Why? Nola has some lovely people on their squad and it would be nice for them to make it to the show. They have been waiting and this might be the right time to do it!

Against: Toronto finishes regular season as best team in the East.

I would love to see that happen, but previous seasons has kept us humble. As a member of Toronto ''North Stars'' I don't believe in ability of us finishing regular season higher than in the 3rd position in Eastern conference. However, I might be wrong, lol.

Montreal wins the cup: FOR

Montreal has had a solid team for a few seasons now, on top of that they have been picking up a lot of solid talent in the draft. Mix the young new talent with the vets that can guide them and you have a solid recipe for a team that can be on par with some of the great teams of the past.

AGAINST. Los Angeles and San Francisco will meet in first round of playoffs, after finishing regular season as 1st and 4th or 2nd and 3rd in their division.

While Seattle and Calgary have taken some strides, don't get it twisted; LAP and SFP remain the stars of that division and will finish 1st and 2nd in some order, and both top 3 in the entire Western Conference. While I think Texas will be President's Trophy winners (if only because no one else in their division has the firepower to keep up and show a semblance of challenge to win the division, LAP and SFP are wagons. They are destined to meet in the 2nd round, yet again.

Anchorage makes it to the Four Star Cup finals

For! After last season this surprising performance the Anchorage Armada is now having on of the top roster in the SMJHL and after this very disappointing end with a sweep of the first playoff round they have only one goal and that is reaching the finals and winning the cup.

FOR: For first time since S71, Hodor wont have most blocked shots

Hodor has had a monopoly on being the best fantasy defenseman pick for a good while now, but father time waits for no one. He's been on the decline age-wise for a while now, and I think it finally catches up to him this season.

Against Montreal wins the cup. Why you may ask? Because its not my team and I'm too shallow to allow for someone else to experience victory that I know belongs to me.

#15

AGAINST: Philadelphia finishes 3rd or worse in the division.

This one seems to be to rile up a certain fanbase. It's not 3rd or worse in league, or even conference where this might be a conversation, but went with Division where they haven't been 3rd or below since...checks notes

S66...yea I don't think their 12 season streak of 1st or 2nd on division is ending this year.
