I chose that I like the mock draft because I am a fan of the way the format currently is. Traditional, simple and to the point. No reason to change

Against: Montreal wins the cup.
If we just consider the probability of any team winning not only enough to make the playoffs, but also beating other playoff worthy opponents all in one singular shot, It seems unlikely that Montreal, or anyone, will win the Cup. But someone has to!

Against: Los Angeles and San Francisco will meet in first round of playoffs, after finishing regular season as 1st and 4th or 2nd and 3rd in their division.
Los Angeles and San Francisco are still far and away the best two teams in the Pacific, and while Calgary has taken steps to get better, and Edmonton is starting to turn the tide, I don’t see a way that the California teams don’t finish 1-2

Against-New Orleans makes it to the Challenge Cup finals
There is no way this is going to happen. Just look at the conference they are in. They need to beat the likes of Texas, Los Angeles and San Francisco to get their. I know anything can happen in the sim engine but this is like trying to move a mountain

For Montreal wins the cup- Chuck Chunky has joined Montreal this season and will obviously bring his lack of experience and impact the team in a way that will surely push them to victory

FOR: Toronto finishes regular season as best team in the East.
Y'all have really just gotta keep your heads up and in the game for this, but I truly think there is a genuine chance of this actually working out for you guys. Toronto is great, you all are cool, make this count.

Once again Los Angeles and San Francisco will finish the season as 1 & 2 in the Pacific Division, maybe 1& 3 if something weird happens, they have the deepest and most talented rosters in the Pacific, Calgary is catching up, Edmonton and Seattle are still a few seasons away, there is no way any of them are topping these two in the standings. With no one topping them there is no way they will be meeting in 1st round. They will meet once again in the second round of the playoffs as it has become a tradition. And the Pride will beat the Panthers when they meet in the second round. Sig by Lazyeye

LAP and SFP have met in the the 2nd round onwards for like, eighteen straight season and I do not think that is stopping anytime soon.

Against: Calgary will score most goals.
They are already so far behind other teams and the season just started I can't see them catching up. I don't even think they'll be in the top 3. Also my opinion on the mock is I don't like it but I want another activity which requires the same amount of effort to give a similar amount of tpe.

Los Angeles and San Francisco will not meet in the first round of the playoffs. I know it would be fun to see as everyone wants to see that, but it will not happen. There's no reasoning, it just plain will not happen.

Montreal wins the cup.
For: Go Montreal. Why the frick shouldn't they win the cup. Who am I to stand in their way? They have a much a chance before the season starts as anybody really.

Trading Card Team Posting Freak Code: New Orleans makes it to the Challenge Cup finals Against. My player, Atticus Hale, plays for New Orleans and I can tell you that if we did not make the Challenge Cup Finals any of the previous three seasons, we certainly won't be making it this season. NOLA made big cuts at the forward position and offensive production is where we have struggled. We will still make the playoffs because of our strong defense, but making it out of the first round is another story. |
