Justin Time hasn't been as vocal of a media presence in San Francisco as he was during his time in Edmonton, but it was a privilege to get on the local sports station and chat about the Pride's strong finish to the season, winning the President's trophy and claiming home ice advantage through the playoffs. Time had an outstanding season personally, leading all starters in wins, shutouts, and GAA, as well as securing the Honcho trophy for fewest goals against for the third time of his career. The focus is all on the playoffs now though, and the upcoming match against Winnipeg. Time was quick to remind the studio that while the Pride are certainly the favorites, every playoff matchup is tough, and with someone like Rhett Carpet in net you never know when your team will run into a wall offensively. The key is just to take things one game at a time, play a relaxed game, and trust your teammates to keep up the same performance that locked up the regular season.

I think my player would absolutely jump at the chance to color commentate for another sport even if they don't know anything about it. I mean look at the positives, color commentators are almost like historians of the teams and leagues they work in so it would be easy to learn the lingo and who is good or bad, on a cold or hot streak, etc. Plus you would get to learn the sport from those who live and breathe it every single day as much as the players themselves do. I'd do some studying sure, probably learn about who I am watching and ask questions while on the air so that the layman and/or new fans can learn right along side me. Hell, I might even become a fan from watching myself. Its hard though to find a sport no one knows about or a lot about so for this scenario we'll just go with baseball.

I'd start by talking about how to improve myself next season. First, I want to start by saying I improved from last season's awful effort. I think one of my biggest problems is that I get in my head too much. After letting in a goal, it's hard for me to recover. I need to stop thinking about that last goal and focus on stopping the next one. Another problem I have is I lack stamina. I can do back-to-backs most of the time but on occasion, I just don't have enough in the talk to perform properly. Now onto my team. We have like zero defense. This year, 1813 shots which is the most I've faced in my career. We had a total of 306 goals against, and our best defenseman is only 1600 TPE. Going into next season, if I improve and we ad some Defensive depth and maybe even a star or two, I think we have a good chance at making the playoffs

Chopper Donquixote
Chopper was very excited to be invited to the SHL late night talk show Puck Talk. He sauntered onto the stage with confidence smiling to the crowd. While his outer disposition reflected a warm fuzziness his inner thoughts on the season were not the same. Chopper is always hard on himself, and he was during the talk show. Chopper was proud of his overall improvement on the season. He netted 12 goals and tallied 25 assists to top off a solid offensive performance from a self-labeled "goon". What Chopper was upset about was the overall performance the team demonstrated and bore the burden personally as he wanted to do more. Missing the playoffs by a singular point is hard and with a young team like MTL has it could have been the start of a very fun streak of playoff appearances. Chopper pushed through the interview selflessly and made sure to highlight his outstanding teammates while doing so.

Dag-Otto has been invited to be a color commentator for a game for the local National Football League team. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers!
Luckily for him, they already know that he knows little to nothing about the rules around American football. He is after all from Sweden where there's barely any clubs playing America football. It's all about European football, or soccer, over there. Dag-Otto won't be reading up or asking his fellow teammates. As this event is all just a marketing stunt to both increase the awareness around Tampa's own SHL team going into the playoffs. But also an attempt to increase the game's popularity in Sweden. This will be done by Dag-Otto being given a few segments here are there, after certain extra spectacular plays, to share what he believes just happened on the field and whether it was good or bad for the Buccaneers. Dag-Otto is great at playing the fool and making people laugh with him rather than at him.

Demir Bellona was invited by the cricket team Delhi Capitals in India after Indian fans approached him on the streets in a random TikTok video where they had him try some suspicious food. Unbeknownst to him the video made the rounds last week in India and went viral. He later learned that the dish he ate was chhole bhature and it was actually very good. He graciously accepted the invite by the Indian team, having never seen cricket in real life, but it seemed like a too good opportunity to pass up. Upon setting foot in New Delhi, he was contacted by the Canadian government and they were anxious about the Patriotes star player hanging out in India after the international incident a few months ago that saw a number of Canadian diplomats getting kicked out of India. Nonetheless, the Delhi Capitals were very generous with their time and welcomed him with open arms to tour the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium and even allowed him to join the commentator team on a few game days.

Answering Prompt 2
Teddy Bloos knows NOTHING about baseball. It's also one of those sports that feels like the most confusing to pick up unless you have some basic sense of what's going on. Like, soccer is just hockey on grass, and with feet. That's intuitive. Hockey's more complicated than soccer, even. Basketball has nuances, sure, but the rules make a fair bit of sense. Put ball in basket, score points.
What is going on in baseball? Teddy Bloos just can't understand. To prep, he watches some crash course videos explaining the rules of baseball, but even then that fails to capture all the nuances.
Trust me. Baseball has too many nuances to know of.
So Teddy Bloos shows up to the ballpark, puts on the mic, and helps guest commentate a local Thunder Bay men's league game. Why they have commentators, I don't know. And you know what? It goes alright, thankfully. The early rainout certainly helped too.

Lucas Snyder
WCSH-TV in Portland invited Lucas to join the analyst team for a halftime report. As the Timber's schedule was clear for that day, Lucas, somewhat reluctantly, agreed. Lucas was always a very camera shy person. In real life he was very charismatic and could easily make people smile and laugh, but on TV it was actually rather existential for him, even the thought of knowing he could be talking to tens of thousands of people behind a screen across the world. Another thing is, well, he really doesn't know
that much about hockey rules. Like, he knows the obvious stuff and everything he needs for properly playing, but it only goes to an extent where rules get complex past the actual level of play. During his actual analysis during halftime, this does cause some subtle setbacks, but he is able to fill them by using powerful words and language, electrifying the audience. Overall, Lucas does relatively okay with a halftime show and connecting with the others at the desk, but he has to try to avoid thinking about the cameras as much as possible. And also has to avoid getting involved in any deep hockey rules analysis discussion. But still overall pretty okay.

Written Option 1: Chuck is a confident but humble person. When asked to join the desk, he comes across as someone who is prepared and knows what he’s saying. When asked about his playoff experience Chuck says “In S78, the Kraken had a rough start and then struggled for the remainder of the season. Luckily for us, all teams make the playoffs so we gained valuable experience going to game 7 in the first round before losing out. This experience helped me understand what playoff hockey is and what I need to do to ensure we make a run this season”. When asked about the upcoming playoff series against the San Diego Tidal, Chuck said “This year, we had a different experience throughout the regular season so we are confident going into the playoffs. We know we can beat every single team in this league. We just need to play our game. The Tidal may have had a tough regular season but they are looking to do to us what we were looking to do last year. We know their exact mindset. For that reason, we need to treat them like every other opponent and bring our A game”

Marineau was very excited to have a quick chat with Colorado's local broadcast station. When asked about the Raptors first-round matchup, Marineau said, "We are super excited to get a chance at revenge against the Falcons. Last season, they beat us in six games in the second round of the playoffs so we're eager to get back at them. Although the Falcons finished 13 points behind us in the regular season, they always give us a good game. They boast a fantastic top line so we're going to have to game plan around them and hopefully keep them at bay." In regards to Marineau's play, he said; "I'm hoping I can contribute to the team's success even with my limited role on the third line. I'm not looking to contribute offensively, I understand my role and want to be able to be a trusted figure for the coaching staff. I think if I can play a very sound, 200-foot game, it will open up the game for the first two lines. I think we can make a deep run if we all play our roles."

Ville Sato-Maki after the second game of the Quebec vs Vancouver game was invited on the local panel to talk about the games so far as well as goals. Ville Sato-Maki is leading the team with 3 points in 2 games being a +1 despite the 2 losses. The Vancouver Whalers honestly did not expect much out of this playoff run but it is nice to send veterans like Oliver Cornwall, David Vent, and Trevor Lopez off to the SHL with some hopefully competitive games. It is also nice for the team to get the rookies some experience. Ville Sato-Maki is expected to be called up by the Winnipeg Aurora next season so he starts to chat about that with the panel and to talk about how he is looking forward to the opportunity to play in the SHL and very thankful for the team in Vancouver for letting him go early. However, Sato-Maki ends off the interview by saying that he hopes that he can give the fans in Vancouver one last game to cheer for as they came into the tailend of the season a bit better than the beginning and a single win would make the whole team go crazy! A small win for a rebuilding season.
