Jett Labyrinth is used to doing interviews at this point, so when the Berserkers TV team asked for an interview, he was more than confident to deliver a charismatic and informative interview. When asked about the team’s second round matchup against the Anchorage Armada, Jett told the station that he respected the team a lot and thinks it will be a very tough playoff matchup. He said he thinks they’re even better than what their regular season record suggests and that the Berserkers will not be taking them lightly. “I think there’s a good chance this goes to 7, they have a great goaltender tandem and a great powerplay that could definitely be an x-factor for them.” said Labyrinth. Lastly, when asked about his own performance so far in the playoffs Jett said: “I think I’ve done well but I know I can play better, seeing how our top line is performing right now is really motivating me to try to get to that next level”.
Oh shit you said there was money involved? On god? Hummina hummina I'm coming for that skrilla I don't care what I have to deal with. I'm also not some kind of nerd so I'm not studying we're just going on vibes and the belief that I am intrinsically smarter than everybody else in the room (in like a cool way though not in some lame nerdy way.) I think the first thing to do is to learn the players name of whatever nonsense sport I'm commentating but to be honest that kinda sounds like a lot of work so I'm just gonna name all the players Baggo I think that's a cool name. All players have been named Baggo. Now that I can properly recognize who is who I can begin making up rules to this sport so that I can follow a long with the game, and then get mad at the referees for not enforcing the rules that I have created. I feel that this is an important skill for a play by play commentator. It's also a PG-13 broadcast so I get to say fuck once and I choose to have the camera randomly cut to me so I can look back at it and just say the magic word. We're getting paid tonight

Written Option 1:Your team’s local broadcasting station’s analyst desk has invited your player to talk about themselves as well as their team’s upcoming playoff matchup and the best way to win. If your player hasn’t made the playoffs, they instead invite you to talk about your player’s performance this season and how your team can improve next season. What do you tell the desk about your team’s current match up? What do you tell the desk about your own player’s performance? How is your player while on the desk? Are they a nervous wreck or are they cracking jokes and quips with expert charisma?
Oskar Scholz and the San Francisco Pride turned up the heat down the stretch and pushed themselves in to the top spot in the league after 66 games securing the President's Trophy, #1 seed and home ice advantage for the playoffs. Their first round matchup with the Winnipeg Aurora proved to be a good test for the San Francisco, but the favoured Pride team overwhelmed the Aurora on their way to a 4-0 series win. Their second round matchup against Calgary has shown to be a tougher test with the series tied 2-2 after 4 games creating a best of 3 series. Oskar isn't a big fan of talking about himself so instead he chose to spotlight his teammates, specifically the emergence of Dominik Winters and Logan Webb. This season they took control of the team offensively finishing 1-2 in team scoring and both surpassing the 100 point plateau for the first time in their careers. Oskar says those 2 will be the ones to watch this playoffs as San Francisco looks to return to the Challenge Cup Finals.
Earl is no stranger to the playoffs seeing as the two seasons he has played the Mutes have made it (this year by the thread of his flannel shirt). But he still made it no doubt. With that being said he has never been nervous nor does he ever get nervous about playing. He's very confident in his play even when mistakes happen. He understands the game at a molecular level and knows mistakes will happen in a game of fast speed. With his deep knowledge of the sport of hockey he would sit very well up on an analyst desk. He could quite possibly be very loved in this position but he does not really enjoy the thought of having a filter when it come to these things. His mouth gets him in trouble with his GM, Teammates, and other opponents all the time. Earl would talk about their current matchup against QCC. A very tough team who did extremely well this season. A matchup that will test the mutes as a team. He's confident they can win everyone just needs to be on their A game. Earls performance has been subpar in the playoffs but he seems to be playing a more defensive game and playing hard minutes. He may not be an offensive threat this year in the playoffs but his plus minus is showing hes on the ice at the right moments.

Alexandros would love to talk about Chicago’s playoff opponent this season but unfortunately Chicago found itself at the bottom of the league and underperforming so the only opponent they have is themselves. Although the team didn’t play that well this season and Alexandros in particular did in fact form pretty poorly to his own standards, he cannot look at too much and judge it. Chicago enjoyed many seasons of success before Alexandros but after only 1 season of being on the team years ago it started a rebuild and the affects of that are in full swing and the league expectations are for them to be about where they are at right now. He isn’t the best speaker in the world but he would hope he conveyed his interview as somber but hopeful. For he does see a bright future for Chicago as despite being a rebuilding team they have performed above expectations in the past and every season sees massive growth for a majority of the team. Hopefully the hardest part is at the end and its only up from here.
The closest sport to hockey in North America is soccer. If I got invited to be a guest commentator for a soccer match I would absolutely do it. Especially if it was for a big match up like US Women's National team world cup qualifying. As someone who has played for Team USA in the World Juniors, it wouldn't be too difficult to get behind another US team even if I didn't really understand the sport. I'm sure it would be hilarious for me to constantly be asking what's going on all the time. Marveling about the size of the net and that the goalie is not wearing anything but gloves. I'm sure the first time there was a slide tackle that knocked someone off their feet I'd retort that "You can't do that in hockey." If there was a yellow card I'd ask if the player has to stand on the side line for tow minutes. Penalty kicks would be fun though, at least that would look familiar.

After the sweep of Minnesota, I was able to talk about our upcoming matchup in the conference finals. As I was interviewed, though it was made interesting by the fact that the opponent was not yet determined. Calgary and San Francisco are currently tied at 2, and Texas will play the winner of that matchup. As I was interviewed, I made it very clear to the interviewers that we were going to prepare for either matchup. Really, these are two incredibly talented teams that each present their own respective challenges. We know that no matter who we were going to face this far into the playoffs, it would be a challenge and will most likely go to six or seven games. I made sure to highlight our team's efforts and how in the series against Minnesota to get here, we played some of our best team hockey all season and it really showed with a sweep. In the interviewer, I definitely made sure to show my excitement with advancing this far, but caution with making sure we are prepared and ready for the fight.
Broadcaster: So Abbe, your team the Anchorage Armada has once again made it to the playoffs in the Smjhl, what are you expecting from the team, and of course, what are you expecting from your own performance in the playoffs this season.
Abbe Wass: Well Kenth, I hope it's okay that I call you Kenth even if we haven't seen each other for more than a couple of minutes. As for my own performance this playoff, I hope that I can keep it solid in the defense and make some contribution in the offense. I have always been a sucker for good +/- statistics so if i do my work well it should show there.
As for the team's performance I hope that we really can come together as a team and deliver the great plays I know we are able to do. If we keep doing what we have been doing all season and trust our own game plan I know we atleast should make it through to the second or third round. And if the winds blow the right way I wouldn't be too surprised if me made it all the way to the final

Our upcoming playoff series is against Maine Timber. This team is no slouch since they finished in 4th place in league standings and in terms of goal differentials they finished 3rd in the regular season. We already expected May O'Nase, Doug Weight, and Pulkinnen to be a threat but the biggest surprise has been Kobe Frobe. He only had 77 pts in the regular season but is now leading the team with 18 points in the playoffs in only 10 games. Not sure what happened to this dude, but he stepped up like crazy. Raptors are going to need to focus on their defense and prevent the mentioned guys from being a threat. Raptors don't necessarily have the same fire power like Maine but we got our very own Baron Samedi who is also killing it. Now talking about my player, Yuri Boyka III, who transitioned from a LW to a LD, he hasn't been playing too well. Only collected 5 points in 8 games. On the Desk, he is a complete nervous wreck since he is somewhat of an introvert. Doesn't understand cues and ends up being very goofy. However, Boyka III is determined to give it his all to beat Maine and we should see some fire in his eyes the next few games.
This seems like a situation where my player would be invited to commentate in Lacrosse. Coming from Quebec, Lacrosse is actually pretty popular here, considering the roots of the sport are actually located in Canada and in Quebec if my memory serves me right. But, have you ever watched a game of Lacrosse? Other than the fact that there is the same amount of players on the field, they use the same surface and size, and they score goals the same way, the rules are slightly a little different. First of all, slashing is allowed or maybe is not allowed? Players either ONLY play offence or ONLY play defence, depending what their role is on their team. Faceoffs are this weird thing where you have to scoop the ball and place it in your net or something, I do not even know. If you pass the ball and you miss it, the other team picks it up, you lose possession? Is that even the way it works or it is just strategic that they start going towards playing defence rather than fighting for the possession. It is fun to watch though, so thats the positive.
